I had a good friend about to move away from Las Vegas and we had been talking about going to see this show. The show is very secretive about many aspects and it had us all very interested. Without giving too much away, when making a reservation for this show be advised you will not know the location of the venue till midday the day of the show. This makes it intriguing and exciting at the same time. For tickets, there was a choice of general admission and VIP. The difference is the VIP audience will actually interact with the magician through out the show. The magician was quite talented and he performed a variety of tricks and illusions. At times he was even comical. The show itself lasts approximately 75 minutes but it is unlike any show I have ever attended. What I enjoyed most about this show was the small intimate venue with a limited audience. It is definitely not a family show, it is only for those of us 21+. If you find yourself wanting to experience a different type of magic show, then check this one out.

This show is fantastic; the tricks performed are close and personal to the audience. You will be amazed by the acts being performed and even scared for the performer at times. The magician is hilarious, and after 2 hours, it was never a dull moment or lack of tricks and wonders. Highly recommend if you enjoy comedy, showmanship, and thrills. For me, it was the best show in Vegas, well worth the money and experience. We look forward to the 2026 performance and can't wait to see what it entails.

Excellent and unique experience. It's an intimate show for Vegas, with only 3 rows and limited people. The magic is done well, and the magician is a top tier entertainer. The show maintains a great exclusivity with a secret location and mysterious setting up until you're seated. Nearly 2 hours flew by with the audience engaged the entire time.

Located this venue on Tic Toc. Looked like the type of personalized experience I would enjoy. We arrived early and there was confusion on where we go to Wait and where we get drinks To comply with the two drink minimum. We wondered into the room eventually but we're not told where we needed to be or that we needed an arm Band. Some attention to this would make The initial experience more comfortable. Once The show started it was absolutely entertaining. The Magician and his assistant were fabulous, very adult funny while remaining respectful and the front row is definitely engaged. Jo The magic was very entertaining and left everyone wanting more. Bravo well done. Well worth the price tag. Pay extra and book early for the front row. We had a good crowd but I can see how if you did not it would ruin the experience. There should be a posting when booking that you have to acknowledge that no rude behavior will be tolerated and at the discretion of the rabbit you can be ejected with no refund. I definitely will go again when in Vegas.

I wanted to like this show more, but it felt very typical for a magic show. It's nice that it takes place in a small, intimate venue though. The invite-only setup seems to just be a way to get your contact information. If you're wanting to be selected to participate in tricks, get VIP tickets. Otherwise, the magician may talk to you briefly but not pull you up in front of everyone. I was hoping there might be something particularly spooky about this showing because it was in Halloween, but I think it was the normal show. Some reviews on here state there isn't any swearing, but there was tons of it at the showing I attended (in case that bothers you). Ultimately, the magician is funny and talented and you'll probably enjoy this show. His assistant was fabulous and mysterious.

Fun show. The magician is a great showman. He has put personal touches put into the show intentionally, and this raises the experience value. My only rec is to not arrive as early as the email states. But if you do, check in and then hang out in the lounge across the hall for a drink and the live pianist.

Unique, amazing and a little risqué! When the Midwesterner said he wanted the magician to do the trick "the hard way," Rabbitman unzipped his pants and presented him with his card, then wiped it on his head.

This is an incredible show and experience. If you're visiting Vegas and are looking for *magic *avoiding a big audience/crowds *comedy *exclusivity *class ...then this is the show for you! As a magician myself, I of course love going to magic shows of all kinds, but close-up magic in intimate settings is my favorite. There are fewer "smoke & mirrors" to hide behind when you're only 5 feet away from the magician! Plus, the secretive nature of the set-up adds a lot of intrigue to the experience. And, as the rabbit asks, do treat this as a special occasion and DRESS UP! The venue will understand the assignment as well. There's a great bar for you to grab a drink beforehand.

This was the worst show I've ever seen. It wasn't funny, the magic sucked, and the acoustics make it impossible to hear.

Ask the Community - The Magician’s Study

    What's the address?

Part of the fun of this show is that you do not know the address. They will give it to you prior to the show. It is on the strip, inside of a hotel.

Do they have a bar available in the venue? If not, do they allow you to bring beverages in with you? THANKS!

Yes they do, and yes, you may bring your drinks in with you. Amazing show and experience.!

I've seen this show twice, once opening night and then again in October 2023. I was in the first row stage left the first time, and the second row dead center the second time. The first time my view was blocked by a woman with very curly, poofy hair. The second time my view was blocked by everyone seated at the cocktail tables. The Duomo is a horrible venue because the seats are neither staggered nor graduated like stadium seating. The stage isn't high enough above the seating to give everyone a good view. I've seen X Country at Harrah's, Fantasy at Luxor, and Red Velvet Burlesque at Notoriety downtown - all of them have different seating and stage configurations for this sort of show, but you can actually see the performers. This show needs a different venue. They have Julia Flypole doing arial hoop work but it's like a 7 or 8 foot ceiling from the stage to the top. She also performs in Red Velvet Burlesque and her routine is from a silk that is easily two stories long. It's just not the same effect doing acrobatics and arial pole in such a short room. The show is a mix of singing and burlesque dancing set to rock-esque type music. There is no nudity in this show. Everyone has pasties on in addition to bra tops, unlike other showgirl burlesque shows. While it's obviously 18+ because it's burlesque, nothing is too risque, except the bathtub dance is a bit over the top raunchy for my taste. The dancing is good. The costuming is good. The singer actually has a good voice. The only problem is the venue is garbage and not a good fit for this show. There is limited audience participation in this show. As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Since their recent opening, they have had some slow nights that warranted closing up earlier than their posted hours -- something to keep in mind. They also only seem to be serving "mocktails" at the moment (no alcohol). Dine in to enjoy live music on weekends! So how's the food? I really had high hopes because I enjoy some good Cajun-style seafood and their menu (especially during weekends) offers great variety from Frog Legs and Oysters "Rockafella" to Gumbo and Seafood Boil. They even offer several Vegan entrees and dessert. Unfortunately, the dishes I tried just didn't hit as expected. Surf & Turf Burger. Big, plump shrimp with no shortage of ooey gooey cheese but even with the plethora of sauces and seasonings, the flavors didn't quite pop. Just a standard burger with added shrimp. Good bun, though, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Grilled Salmon & Shrimp. Again, great presentation of seafood and creamy sauce filled with various goodies like crawfish, all WITH a generous helping of cheese grits. Sounds heavenly but not a dish for which I'd go out of my way. Shrimp was perfectly tender but salmon was dry and definitely needed the sauce. Good Sizzler/Texas style garlic toast on the side. Seafood Potato With Salad. Okay, this was the main event that drew me to this place but WOW, was I disappointed. It was literally a baked potato broiled with seafood and cheese. I expected much more flavor. For some reason, the cheese grits accompanying this dish had an unpleasantly pungent, foot-like aroma and taste that was not as noticeable in the Salmon dish, possibly attributed to the cheese blend? I really wanted to report back with glowing praises, especially since the owners and staff are so warm and welcoming! I hope my remarks help this business grow and improve with time. I would still return for the music and intimate, speakeasy atmosphere.

I had issue with it having quite a few visibility issues due to the venue layout, as well as the show being way too queer male centered when it's supposed to be about Dita. I'm happy to say that this show at Voltaire has almost none of the visibility issues that the former show had. This theater is more of a lounge so there are a lot of banquette and table seats. I would have liked the seats to be a bit more graduated as sometimes, what was going on down stage was obscured by people's heads in the audience. Obviously because this is a classic showgirl show with women with pasties, there are no photos allowed during the show except for the last 30 seconds or so when everyone comes out to take a bow. The show runs nearly 90 minutes with a 10 minute intermission. The show does get a bit repetitive as there is no dialogue, singers or musicians. It is just stripping down to pasties over and over again. The costumes are gorgeous though and run the gamut from Edwardian, 1930's to 1950's, and of course the classic show girl plumed getups.
