This was my first magic show I've ever been to and it was SO cool!! Even the entrance to the magic show where you need to give the key word to enter was unforgettable. I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Las Vegas. I really liked how intimate the show was. It was a half circle with only 3 rows of people. And if you get front row tickets (which do sell out very quickly!) you get to participate in the show which is an amazing experience. There was plenty of cool card tricks but one of the coolest parts was... you gotta see it, don't want to spoil the show! And at the very end you can take photos with them! read more

A fun Vegas show to do as a date night or even as a group. Came here for my friends joint batch celebration. Really entertaining show and very adult comedy and sass. The room fits about 40 people or so in a nice intimate setting. Everyone has a great view. The entire experience is dim lit and has an adult humor to it. I'm glad we did this show. I had a good friend about to move away from Las Vegas and we had been talking about going to see this show. The show is very secretive about many aspects and it had us all very interested. Without giving too much away, when making a reservation for this show be advised you will not know the location of the venue till midday the day of the show. This makes it intriguing and exciting at the same time. For tickets, there was a choice of general admission and VIP. The difference is the VIP audience will actually interact with the magician through out the show. The magician was quite talented and he performed a variety of tricks and illusions. At times he was even comical. The show itself lasts approximately 75 minutes but it is unlike any show I have ever attended. What I enjoyed most about this show was the small intimate venue with a limited audience. It is definitely not a family show, it is only for those of us 21+. I wish I could give this zero STARS..... I was extremely excited to attend the show. It started off fun, energetic, and interactive. The performer was engaging with the audience, joking around, and encouraging participation. I've been on cruise ships where shows like this are meant to be interactive, so I assumed that was the atmosphere here as well. I attended with my husband and my coworker and her husband. The first time I spoke up, it was just in the spirit of having fun. The second time, my husband joined in when the performer was interacting with another guest who didn't want to give up the $100. My husband jokingly said, "I've got $100, I'll do it!" It was all lighthearted and part of the show. A little later, the performer brought out a table and looked like he was about to bring someone on stage. I excitedly volunteered, saying, "Can I volunteer?" He pointed in our direction and said something like, "You two, go with the lady right there." We followed the staff member, assuming we were being taken backstage or selected to participate. Instead, she told us we had been kicked out of the show. We were shocked. We had spent over $500 on tickets, and at no point were we warned to quiet down or told our behavior was inappropriate. No one asked us to stop participating. We were simply escorted out without explanation. To make matters worse, my husband and I were the only Black guests in the audience. My coworker and her husband, who are Korean and Hispanic, remained inside. I can't say why we were singled out, but the entire experience left us feeling embarrassed, confused, and unfairly treated. If our participation had become disruptive, a simple conversation or warning would have been more than enough. Instead, we lost the opportunity to enjoy a show we were genuinely excited about after spending hundreds of dollars. To then hear that the performer received an additional $200 from the audience while we were removed only added insult to injury. This experience completely overshadowed what should have been a memorable night. If you're planning to post this on Google Reviews, Yelp, or social media, I can also make it shorter and more impactful while keeping the same message. read more

Full disclosure, I'm about a year behind writing this review - I went with a group of friends last April. It was an experience we were looking forward to for something new as locals, and we had a good time. Part of the fun of this is the secrecy - you order your tickets online and find out that day where the show will be, use a code word to get in, and it's an intimate experience with ~30 people. Note that the VIP tickets get you seating in the front row and you get to interact with the Magician at some point in the show. After seeing several performers in Vegas, I wasn't sure what to expect when social media posts raved that there's nothing like this and it's totally different. The setting (described above) is really what is different, the exclusive and intimate vibe of seeing the show up close and personal in what feels almost like someone's home - I don't want to give away where we met but it really added to the atmosphere. The show itself was solid, and I really enjoyed his assistant and her participation in the show. There's close up card trick type magic, a good amount of comedy and improv working the audience (I skill other shows I've been to often lack), and of course they save the most impressive tricks for the end. My only criticism would be that what you can see and hear can be affected by where you are seated - I am hearing impaired and struggled to hear portions of the dialogue. The pricing seemed fair for the evening. Several other reviews here mention excessive swearing and I really don't remember that from our experience but it is an adults-only experience. Located this venue on Tic Toc. Looked like the type of personalized experience I would enjoy. We arrived early and there was confusion on where we go to Wait and where we get drinks To comply with the two drink minimum. We wondered into the room eventually but we're not told where we needed to be or that we needed an arm Band. Some attention to this would make The initial experience more comfortable. Once The show started it was absolutely entertaining. The Magician and his assistant were fabulous, very adult funny while remaining respectful and the front row is definitely engaged. Jo The magic was very entertaining and left everyone wanting more. Bravo well done. Well worth the price tag. Pay extra and book early for the front row. We had a good crowd but I can see how if you did not it would ruin the experience. There should be a posting when booking that you have to acknowledge that no rude behavior will be tolerated and at the discretion of the rabbit you can be ejected with no refund. I wanted to write an objective review. It's an intimate experience with maybe about 40 people. Only the first row of people are engaged with and asked to volunteer. After every trick, the magician wants the applause and gets a little peeved when the audience is not wowed and will reiterate what he just did and how we should be amazed. The rabbit head is redundant and he takes it off before he starts. He does card tricks, sawing a woman in half and mystery bag hand slamming (spoiler alert one has a sharp tool in it), but this isn't some revolutionary intimate experience where you will see amazing one of a kind magic. This is not what I thought the show was going to be based off the website description and disappointingly based off of past reviews from 2 years ago... I see that he is doing the same tricks. This is not cutting edge magic. You will be more wowed from watching clips of AGT and the magic showcased there. Oddly, for such a small room that if he just projected his voice no audio system would be needed, but audio is used and it's hard to hear his muffled voice. I wanted to like this show more, but it felt very typical for a magic show. It's nice that it takes place in a small, intimate venue though. The invite-only setup seems to just be a way to get your contact information. If you're wanting to be selected to participate in tricks, get VIP tickets. Otherwise, the magician may talk to you briefly but not pull you up in front of everyone. I was hoping there might be something particularly spooky about this showing because it was in Halloween, but I think it was the normal show. Some reviews on here state there isn't any swearing, but there was tons of it at the showing I attended (in case that bothers you). I won't reveal it here, but if you want to know, you can definitely find out. Is there such a thing as a real secret in the modern world? Nevertheless, it's a cool gimmick. I love the intimate nature of the show. However, on the night I attended, that ended up being a problem as several members of the audience seemed determined to hijack the show. We just attended this event last week and it was amazing. I had heard of it, thought it sounded great, bought VIP tickets and THEN read the reviews. They were mixed, so I was concerned. I did not have to be. We had a really great time. Pro tip: you have to actually state the statement to get in. You can't just say something similar. Haha Ok. The room that you go into fits less than 50 people and 14 people are in the VIP front row. Everyone in the front row does have interaction in the show. Some others from the other rows also have some audience participation. Yes, the magician swears. If that bothers you, this probably is not going to be the show for you. This does not bother me. He is also funny and I was impressed with the magic he performed. Sure there is always going to be suspicion that people in the audience are plants. I guess the only way to know is to keep going back and see if they show up again? Whatever he did, I found it all fun and amazing. He kept us amazed and laughing. I was pretty disappointed by this show for many reasons. For one, it's advertised as being in a surprise location... it's literally in the same location for every show. Drinks in the bar attached are $22 for basic cocktails. The chairs were rickety and wobbly high chairs, and the microphone on the magician had feedback so we couldn't really hear a lot of things. The show claims to have tricks that have never been seen before, that it's intimate, and has a big hype around being one of the best new shows on the strip. Most all of the tricks I saw him perform were sleight of hand, and a lot of card tricks I couldn't see because I was sitting in the back corner. Seats are not assigned in the section you purchase, so don't be first to line up if you don't want to sit on the side seats. The seat I had in the 3rd row far end, which was $100 and had a partially obstructed view by not only the two rows of heads blocking you, but also for a lot of the card tricks. If you want to participate at all in this "intimate" show, the magician doesn't interact with anyone that isn't sitting in the front row, of which he uses multiple times throughout the show. The comedy was so flat. The humor was a little tacky and the audience seemed to be silent a lot of times. I feel like this show is way too overhyped and expensive. I've looked at a lot of google and internet reviews that rave about this show, but a lot of them seem like local guides that are leaving reviews for their free VIP experience. Overall, mostly card tricks I couldn't see because of my partially obstructed view and it being so dark and small. A lot of bad jokes I couldn't understand. 2 stars for his energy and positive attitude, but for a show, I would recommend saving your money for something else. We had a wonderful time! My husband love magic shows. I found about this show on Tik Tok of all things. There was only one review on YouTube. I showed this to my husband and he wanted to attend. We had a tight schedule in Vegas. The only day we were able to attend was the Thursday evening show. We almost didn't make it. Our flight was delayed several hours. We made and we got 2nd burst of energy. This magician was charming, funny, & engaging. He utilized every person on the vip couch for audience assistance. This style of magic is the intimate. It small on purpose. He is probably the only person in Vegas that is doing this. I say in Vegas cause I know a few in New York that's does small magic show. The only down side was where they were holding us until we walked into the room it's was like a library there was a bar but no bartender. We had to walk to a restaurant and get a drink at that bar. No one told us this I had to observe this. When guys visit the website read everything the clue to buy the tickets is the on there. BOOK YOUR TICKETS! I have read through many of the reviews here regarding The Magician's Study and must say I was surprised. I have seen "The Rabbit" 3 times in the Study and have been super entertained every time. I have also seen him once at Brian Newman, which is where I first learned of "The Rabbit." I think there is some confusion about this show. I was unaware there was "The Squirrel" who covers for "The Rabbit" when "The Rabbit" is not performing as I have only seen "The Rabbit." What I can say is that "The Rabbit" is hilarious and his magic is excellent. While he does focus on those in the front row who paid for VIP seating, I have seen him get the entire audience involved to some extent each of the 3 times I have seen the show. Are some of the tricks one's you have seen many times before? Yes. Does he put a new spin on them and use humor to make them seem fresh and new? Yes. This is not a show for children and if you are offended by a little adult language and innuendo, then this show is probably not for you and you should go to the Mac King Show. My bet is that we will be back to see "The Rabbit" at The Magician's Study again. read more

It is with profound sadness that I write this review as I have loved your show and this was my third visit to the venue and the prior two were exceptional and mesmerizing. However, on March 23, 2025, was abysmal! I realize you cannot control who visits and all audiences bring a different kind of energy and vibe, but when a party is COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL and ruins the show for so many people who paid their hard earned money to attend, it really is frustrating and annoying. Jacob, his disgusting father and the rest of their party were absolutely horrible 9we had the very unfortunate luck to sit near them). Everyone sitting around us was upset and ticked off by their behavior and wanted them out of the venue. Your magician was outstanding and handled as best as he could, but they really, with all sincerity, should have been given the boot! As the person who raved about the show to my friends and treated everyone to the experience, I was mortified by Jacob and his "father" and couldn't believe they were allowed to stay. Yes, it got a little better after the first half hour, but it was never fun nor comfortable and I am no shrinking violet. I am in no way easily offended and can drop "f" bombs with the best of them, but these "people" impacted the experience for so many of us in all the worst ways that it really, truly sucks! As a result of this experience, I will be wary to ever visit again. This was a show I have planned on taking a number of people to as I visit Vegas often, but if this is how audience members are allowed to behave, then it's a hard pass for me. Please consider beefing up your audience conduct requirements and make it a checkbox when reserving that you can be removed if you act like a big-mouthed moron who never shuts the hell up. Our group sat at the second row, and we had a fantastic vantage point to see the hand tricks up close and personal without participating. The tricks are mind-blowing. My friend and I paid for VIP and it was so worth it! I can see how others may not have the best experience if they were sitting in the back, which is why we read somewhere that the front row is the best place to sit. We did get interaction since we were in the VIP, but even if we didn't, we still found the show to be fun and entertaining. I loved that it was up close so I didn't have to look at a screen to see what he was doing (like most of the magic shows in LV). I recommended this show to a friend a few months later, and even though he sat in the back, he and his party still had a really good time as well. Def recommend going for VIP for this show. The magician's study was "ok". The three stars are for the quaintness of the show. We were in the third row and felt close and personal. Being that you're so close, it makes the magic even more intriguing. The lack of two stars is due to the Rabbit's bedside manner. He said the F word in almost every sentence, he was continually sarcastically saying how upset he was because he wasn't receiving enough applause, and he "picked on" the same few people. What I mean by the later, instead of using people as participants, he would use them as the butt-end of his tricks. He would continually ask the same type of question in an effort to confuse the participant making them look dumb. The rabbit is playing on the fact that people are nervous. It appears to be an effort to make himself look better than the participants. Not a fan of this type of humor. read more

I'm convinced that the only reason other reviewers find his show fake is because he's just that good. I brought my partner, and we were both laughing the whole time. The tricks are genuinely impressive and the performer makes an effort to ensure everyone in the ~50 person crowd feels included, even if you didn't pay for VIP seating (though there is much more audience participation in the front row if that is important to you). Not quite sure I got my moneys worth here. We paid $170 for VIP seats, for that we got a few interactions, a lady sliced in half in a box, and slight of hand tricks. Most tricks were drawn out a bit to much in "set up and trying to build suspense". All and all there were really only about 4-5 total tricks. Our magician that night was entertaining and quick on his feet to audience responses, but overall I left feeling underwhelmed for what I paid. As others noted I could see how the experience would be even less exciting for the rows behind VIP. At times it was hard to hear even up closer. This was an extremely disappointing show. I came here based on Vegas Starfish's recommendation on TikTok. The magician was extremely crass and rude and not in a funny way. Most of the show catered to the VIP section. At one point, he invited only the front row up to view his cards. The entire show is 95% card tricks. The other two were smashing his hand down on a paper bag where he had a "25%" chance to injure himself and a sawing a woman in half trick: both of which have been done since the 1920's and are extremely easy to figure out how he did them. There's nothing unique or exciting about this show. The mic quality was also terrible and it was impossible to hear him at times despite the tiny room. At times when members of the audience came up to help him out with his tricks and they said the wrong answer, he'd make a rude, nasty, and vicious comment to them. Save your money. read more

So excited to finally get tickets! They ask you to come early and grab a drink and doors open at 6:45. 6:50 the doors open and we get seated and show started at 7. Sooo many people were drunk and talking thru the entire show and the usher didn't tell them to be quiet. Very distracting and I felt very claustrophobic sitting shoulder to shoulder with everyone. Magic was amazing and the rabbit has a great sense of humor but maybe the email instructions shouldn't be so rushed to get us there to wait in a room looping the same music over and over.
