Recently I bought a property and realized it needed a move-in cleaning…read more I wouldn't say the place was a mess, but when you have dust, a couple of dead roaches, and the uncertainty of when it was last cleaned, then yes effectively you either a) clean it yourself or b) hire a professional. I chose option b because I'm frankly strapped for time. I put in a quote on Yelp and several businesses answered. I wound up choosing Tally Maids as they had availability January 2nd which is when I was trying to get everything done. That and they had great reviews. At any rate, Cornelius was very responsive and even recommended a carpet cleaning company for me as they do just about everything except that. I was happy with the service, and if I'm strapped for time, I'd hire them again. The house was left clean and I thought the price was reasonable.

We wanted someone smart, good and dependable and we needed someone fast. Holly was/is all of these things and more. We've hired her twice now to do a full house cleaning. Here are the key reasons why we're giving her 5 stars: - She was crystal clear in our first telephone conversation about what she does and what she does not do, and she provided a meaningful, typical-average price estimate (unlike other companies that we called that wanted to come by to 'give us an estimate' and wouldn't talk money over the phone), and her final charges were totally consistent with what she described. - She showed up at the agreed time and texted me 'one week before' and 'one day before' to confirm our appointment. I haven't received this kind of service from almost anyone but my dentist. - She did a great job cleaning our home. She solicited feedback from us on the work she did (BEFORE she left!), and guided a final, joint-walkthrough of the house to be sure we were happy with the results. - She was totally responsive to our needs as we had expressed them. Holly made the point, "everyone has particular needs around cleanliness!" I hadn't actually thought about that much before. She is absolutely right. She gets it. We felt like she cared, and she does. - Her invoices felt great! She works incredibly hard and we felt her services were great value. Holly's business name truly states it clearly: She gets it done, and she gets it done as requested, well, expediently, and professionally. Thank you Holly! Lastly, and this arguably may be the most important aspect of having ANY household cleaner come into one's home: she was really personable, kind, down to earth, and really pleasant to be around. We felt totally comfortable having her work around us as we worked at our jobs, and felt comfortable with her poking into all of the corners of our home, because ... well folks, this is what cleaners have to do if they are good! We recently called Crabtree for help with a garage door repair. our experience was terrible. we…read moreneeded a new spring for a broken one and had decided to replace both springs. The technician demanded cash ($300) to get the needed springs. We should have ended the deal right then. He returned the next day and installed the springs and collected another$300 via credit card. The door was working but making a terrible noise. he said he could fix that for more money. We declined. Today the side of the door that did not have a problem is totally torn apart and the door doesn't work at all. We suspect the wrong springs were used and have called another company to fix the mess.

The short is we got a total runaround and after nearly a week they cancelled. The phone sometimes redirects you to a different company in California that has no idea what Crabtree is. I think Yelp probably should take down the reviews for a mechanic because this company is getting a lot of stars that they aren't earning.
