Went in for first time today and got a cut from Kevin. Immediate upon arrival I was greeted and assisted with initial steps. Visually, the place is cool. Big screen on sports channels. Cut was great, went smooth, no issues. When I got there he was ready for me and listened in detail as to what I wanted done. The haircut exceeded my expectations, he knows how to give a proper fade. For those of you looking to get a haircut, searching through Yelp- don't go to a sports cuts or the "Great" ones as we call it back home. Arrived at 11 and sat there for an hour, then was told that she "had other appointments " and she would get to me after them. Told her I tried to make an appt. Literally the only great shop in the area. I've been to every barber in MJ at this point and the only one who does a quality fade has been this place. I use Corey but everyone else seems to do a great job as well. Don't waste your time on the other shops around here because you'll end up here getting it fixed anyways... I know this from experience as I'm currently waiting at Brian's to get my botched haircut from the place down the street corrected... again. I don't known why I feel the need to try other places haha! read more

Two stars because they tried to fix a situation that wasn't fixable. My fiancé took my son who has a full head of hair, hair that was really curly and when wet went down his back. They walked in with a picture of what they wanted which was hair taken off the back and sides with hair coming down. The barber explained he could do it with no problem! My fiancé decided to get his hair cut as well. By the time my fiancé was done getting his hair cut he looked up and it was to late. The best way to describe it was a buzz cut with a little bit of hair on top. My son is so sweet he told the barber it was ok went outside and began crying. I felt so bad it brought me to tears. I had to call the establishment and express how hurt he was as a mother! I was told by the manager that he didn't know why that man cut his hair because he was inexperienced with hair styles like that and before they could stop him it was to late?! My concern was that if everyone knew he was inexperienced why even let my child sit in his chair? I was told he could come back later or in two weeks. My son didn't want to go back plus we had an event today. I ended up taking him to another shop where they cut the remainder of his hair OFF because it was so bad! Even everyone at the other shop I had taken him to were very disappointed. read more

I am so upset with how they treated my boys and how they never even acknowledged them while they were waiting. My boys finally left.
