We originally had contacted Rebecca to do all the florals for our upcoming wedding. Unfortunately,…read moreour venue had cancelled on us, and our new venue was in a different location that was further away from Foote Florals than the previous. Rebecca then agreed to meet halfway between our new venue and herself where we would pick up the florals on the day of the wedding, which would have been fine. Then between May and September (4 months), she emailed me out of the blue saying that she did not think it would be possible for her to meet us halfway any longer. I questioned and wondered why she had agreed many months ago to this agreement; she claimed it would be in our best interest to come pick up the florals 4 hours away from our venue the night before since she no longer was going to meet us halfway. I explained this would be nearly impossible with a rehearsal dinner and other obligations. She advised for me to talk to my fiancé about the situation and we hung up. A short 3 hours later, she emailed me again, telling me she was cancelling our contract and giving me my deposit back and it was for "our best interest". She did not even give me the dignity of a phone call to explain any of this, only an email. My fiancé decided to call her an hour after she cancelled to see what was going on since it was mostly happening over email and did not make much sense. Only a couple minutes in after my fiancé asking Rebecca a few questions, he was abruptly interrupted and she rudely explained that we must be too stressed out, have too much on our plates, and she was the one helping us even though we would had to find a new florist less than a year until the big day. She then said that she did not care that we were upset with her, she would not listen to any of our concerns, and then hung up the phone on my fiancé without any further conversation. I cannot believe anyone in the service industry would treat a client this way. I would never consider using Foote Florals for any event.

She wanted a wedding with multiple day events (wine tour, welcome party, ceremony on the Cornell campus, two cocktail parties, reception and a brunch). We were also challenged with having 160+ guests from out of town. My daughter didn't want a traditional wedding banquet hall look, she wanted to have farm tables with lush greeneries and flowers, and lounge sofas for people to relax. It was hard to find a place around Ithaca to accommodate so many guests. Tara spent days with us in finding a perfect venue for the wedding. On the day of, we had photographers videographers, multiple banquet coordinators, bus drivers. Tara was amazing in coordinating everything and getting everyone to work together. She had 7 pages of the event schedule. She worked tirelessly to refine it with us, down to when food would be delivered for the bridal party to eat before the ceremony. At the end of the reception, when she saw I was going back to the hotel by myself, she personally drove me back. She then delivered flowers for the next morning's brunch to our B&B at 2am. On top of that, she showed up at the brunch to make sure everything was ok and helped us pack up everything. We had few crisis (or we thought) during the wedding, Tara was able to take care of them for us and more importantly calmed us down. All of our guests told us how much fun they had at the wedding and how beautiful the venue was. I think a lot of it was due to Tara's careful planning and diligence. I would highly recommend Tara as a planner for any special event.

Our venue, the Ithaca Farmers Market, requires an immense amount of planning and organization as you must bring in everything (rentals, food, alcohol, decor) yourself. In addition, set-up time is very limited so it pays off to have a team of vendors who have worked well at the market before and know what they're doing and how run of show should go! While we signed on for the month-of package, Tara was so helpful in providing recommendations for additional vendors throughout our planning process who not only have worked market wedding before, but who would be able to help us create our exact vision for the day. Tara was responsive and always made herself readily available, whether it was well-before the month of our wedding or in the days leading up to it. As a self-described Type-A planner, I was so grateful to have Tara on top of everything especially the day before and the day of the wedding so that I could kick back and relax to enjoy such a special day. She executed everything perfectly, - including when a guest stepped on the bottom of my dress and broke off a bustle hook! Not only did she have safety pins of all sizes on hand, she perfectly pinned the dress back into its proper bustle so nobody could even tell! I can't recommend her highly enough - every couple should be so lucky as to have her support, eye for style, and organization on their big day!

Hit wineries, a distillery and a brewery which was nice. Driver (Darryl) was a very nice guy even if he forgot my name and started calling me 'Steve' halfway through. That was pretty funny for the guys even if it was at my expense. Bus had plenty of room too, and we stayed on schedule without it being overbearing or annoying. Price point was fair given this was a 1/2 day tour with food/alcohol included. Brewery and distillery options couldn't have been better. Wagner brewing makes one of the best examples of hefeweizens I've had anywhere. Really great tap room overlooking the lake as well. Got a cheese plate there which was packed like shit in to-go containers, which belied the really good array of cheese, meat and accoutrements it included. Finger Lakes distilling was shockingly good. Their repertoire of whiskeys, including aged options, different styles (ie: pot stilled, applejack) and experiment stuff (cannoli whiskey) was superb. Had whiskey infused cigars here too which were awesome. I bought a shit ton of stuff from their. Surprisingly, I wasn't as thrilled with the wineries. Zugibe was respectable but paled to others nearby like Thirsty Owl; what threw me off was that the reds were much better than the whites there. Food there was gyros, which was odd but oddly good at least. Belhurst was probably the worst single winery I've ever been to, with the worst wine I've tried. Wine had a soapy taste and was cloyingly sweet. Bartender was snotty, rattled off some canned crap she memorized that was largely irrelevant, and didn't really know anything about wine. Place was largely a freaking gift shop, so no clue why they thought this was a good addition. Would use these guys again as Darryl was a sweetheart, and maybe just direct them a bit more in terms of what we're looking for. I am 100% fine with the emphasis being on beer/liquor, however the groom-to-be was more of a wine person in this case. Very workable either way.

He picked us up right on time at our hotel and offered us bottled waters and some restaurant recommendations around Niagara Falls, which was so considerate! We are out of town so we did not really know the area very well so his recommendations made it SO much easier for us to enjoy our trip without any added hassle. He also graciously made any stops we requested despite it not being on our official itinerary. We were so highly impressed with Enzo's professionalism and character that we asked if he was available the next day but unfortunately he was fully booked (AND FOR GOOD REASON!). My family and I all agreed that this day spent with Enzo in Niagara Falls was the highlight of our trip. Definitely the best limousine and transportation service I have ever used and would highly recommend to anyone!
