The best Glamping experience in a lovely, quiet setting with wonderful hosts! We spent a full week in "Yurtville" at the Yale Manor property. I'm really not a camping-like gal but my stay at the Yurts was wonderful. Kathy, the proprietor made certain every detail was perfect and even stocked our mini fridge with breakfast foods for the entire week! From the king size bed, hefty bath towels, organic bath accessories, kitchenette and wifi we felt at home. We loved watching the sunset from outside our Yurt or down at the dock. Some dinners were made on the gas grill on sight. The location was great with so many wineries near by, short drives to some cool historical sights and a quick drive to Wegman's supermarket in Geneva if we needed some stuff grilling dinner. Kathy also recommended several restaurants in the area and we discovered some on our own. Although Covid19 is still out there, we felt safe and knew that the health protocols were all in place while we we there. We will definitely go back to the Yale Manor Yurts. Thanks for a lively stay Kathy & Phil!

It has new house smell and was pristine. The rooms are larger than I thought with good sized closets. I needed a desk for the week and the owners were very kind to bring one to the room for me. By the way - most folks are out for the day so the WiFi was better than my company jet pack! Definitely a plus. Breakfast this week landed around 9a and I had meetings during that time. They were so gracious to have a plate ready or welcome me to the porch table for privacy. Pros: - Their wine is delicious and their origin story is very interesting. Schedule a tasting ($10)! - Breakfast was delicious every day and includes ingredients from their garden - Local coffee served. And, it's good! - Beautiful, clean home - Knowledgeable owners - Close to several wineries - Short drive to town (restaurants) - beautiful area, super relaxing Cons: - Most wineries close at 5pm - TV in my room was *very* small. We didn't use it often so no stars taken.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this B&B…read more Check-in was a breeze. Our room (the Seneca) was absolutely amazing. The view is stunning, you are literally steps from the lake. The decor was nicely done and the room was stocked with everything we needed. The pool is very nice as well. Overall, the resort was quiet and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING. I don't know that I've ever had a better breakfast anywhere else. My only wish was that the chairs outside the Seneca room were Adirondacks rather than metal chairs with cushions. It rained quite a bit, but when it wasn't raining, we were unable to sit on them because the cushions were wet. Overall, I highly recommend this B&B for a great location and experience!

No side tables to set things on and the bed and pillows were definitely uncomfortable. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The B& B was impossible to find at night...or even during the day & a little dangerous to cross a railroad track then make a sudden sharp right turn down a hill !! Breakfasts were very good and I especially enjoyed eating outside on the sunny patio with a view. I thought the price was a little high for my room as I have spent many a year in B&B's......The excellent wineries abound in the area and for that reason I recommend...

We purchased the wine and dine package - staying three nights and doing two days of wine tours with the man in the van. It was spectacular. Wine tours- were a great experience . We saw 6-7 vineyards each day and did the east side of the lake one day and the west the other! Dario, our driver, was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable about the wine and the region! You won't be dissapointed if you book your tours with him! Food- the breakfast at this B&B was out of this world - all made to order unique menu choices!! And then there is the 9 course tapas meal on Saturday night. Chef Andy really out did himself with an international culinary adventure ! In addition to the food at the inn Rossana will give you great recommendations for community restaurants. Inn- very clean and comfortable ! Wine and dine package - highly recommended! Rossana uses this package to spoil her guests with nice surprises through your stay. Owners- Rossana and Andy are such lovely people! We greatly enjoyed chatting with them and their wonderful family! Andrew is a trained chef and his breakfasts are off the chart. Andrew is a bit bewildered why nobody orders his huevos rancheros (I wish I had), so give it a try when you are there. You can have it straight up or in an omelet. Andrew and Rossana offer an excellent tapas dinner on Saturday night, which is not only a great value but extraordinary in its depth and complexity. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely. We will be back.

So the wife and I like to go to the Renaissance faire in Sterling New York at least once a year and…read moretypically will stay at a hotel in Oswego, however this year I decided to book a bed and breakfast for us and randomly chose this place after searching online. It was pretty close in proximity to the Ren Faire so that was a bonus. Kind of looks like your standard farmhouse when you pull up, however the inside looks incredible. The owner, I think his name was Josh, gave us a brief history of the place the next morning and I believe he said it was built in the late 1800s. Like I said it's very nice inside and each of the four rooms as a bonus that you don't typically find in farmhouses, has a window air conditioner. Quick tip however for anybody reading this and considering going there, if you're like me and you prefer your bedroom to be a little on the cooler side when you're sleeping, go up and turn on that air conditioner as soon as you arrive. The upstairs rooms can get pretty warm, of course I was there at the end of July but still it's going to take a couple minutes for that air conditioner to bring it down a few degrees. But anyway we slept pretty well, I received a text message at 8:30 the next morning alerting me that there was a tray of coffee and creamer and stuff outside the door and breakfast was served just a couple minutes past 9:00. The really interesting part about this particular place was the barn. When you pull up to the house, obviously being a farmhouse there's a barn out back. Not much to look at really, just looks like a barn.. But Josh gave us a look inside as we were leaving the next morning. I should have got some pictures but the inside is fully decked out as a venue that could be used for a wedding/reception and or any other small party or gathering. There's a bar area, a stage, some really cool lighting, and an upstairs area where a lot of tables were set up. If you're thinking about having a wedding in that area and are looking for somewhere to possibly have your reception, or in theory the actual wedding as there is a stage there... By all means give this place some consideration. Outdoors has a lot of space and a few more tables, there was a fire pit and contrary to another review that was left on here a few years ago there's a permanent structure that was built for a ladies room and a men's room. Like I said we were here just a few days ago at the end of July so the Flowers that would typically be in bloom in the springtime had passed and the ones that would be coming around in another month and a half or so obviously had not bloomed yet however judging by the number of bushes that I'm seeing, I'm sure it looks quite amazing when everything is trimmed and all the flowers are out and everything is decorated. Anyway, by all means if you're looking for somewhere different than your standard hotel room to stay and you're in this area, check this place out. Pricing wasn't that much different than a king size bed would have been in Oswego and I guarantee nobody at a hotel would have brought me coffee.
