I really enjoyed my meal. My burger and the thin fries were great. The toffee pudding was awesome.

Rude staff, overpriced awful food, felt sick after trying to eat it. Real shame since it used to be a nice place.

We stumbled by this pub after a lovely walk in Richmond Park with the family last Sunday and have to say what a lovely surprise.

Richmond, the city Princes Head is in, is a charming smaller area and was not too busy. We found Princes Head easily as there is plenty of information on how to get there. When we arrived, there were plenty of people in the establishment but was a short wait to order and get our drinks. A charming place with seating indoors and outdoors with the Ted Lasso soccer field just a few steps away and his apartment just a few steps more! I had a Guinness and my wife ice had a Gin and Tonic - both were good but we did not get any food. If you're a Tedd Lasso fan, there is also a merchandise store just down the street. The people there were a mix of locals and tourists and we chatted with many - all had interesting stories to tell! The help was fantastic-the served my Guinness the proper way just as they would in Ireland. Fantastic stop!

We learned early on in London that pubs have dining rooms upstairs which usually require a reservation and then the bottom floor is for drinks and meals picked up from the bar. This visit was about stopping in for a pint and grabbing a bite to eat. After acquainting ourselves with the bar menu we ordered food at the bar and were served fairly quickly. All three of us enjoyed our meals but what was memorable for me was I had the best fish and chips here. The versions I had afterwards were not as tasty. The first floor was hoping and lively and loud so if you're looking for quiet this isn't it. Was great for people watching and hearing other people's conversations. And man, those fish and chips were good. Wish I could have gone back for seconds.

They were accommodating to a couple changes, we just wanted to try as much as possible. Burger was very flat in flavor and the bun wasn't great at all. The fish and chips were great though, was not disappointed with that at all. Seems like more of a place to time up high tide and have a couple pints vs having a nice meal.

They have a selection of TVs as well as a big screen; they even pipe the sound of the TVs into the toilets. They are able to show 2 games at the same time, so this is good for things like Champions league evening. During a big match the pub can get really busy, however normally you'll be able to find a perch somewhere. There is a room at the back with comfy sofa's and a TV; if you get there with plenty of time, this would be great place to watch a game with a selection of friends in relative privacy. Friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, an obsession with self made flavoured vodka drinks and pub that feels both wintery and summery during the seasons. Certainly worth popping your head in for a drink whist out in Richmond.

Prices for beer are average for the area. Good option for a quick pint, or two.

Recently, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was in desperate need of a last minute venue for my birthday party. In less than a week, the staff at the Richmond Vault helped us pull off a successful birthday party for just under 20 people. Along with the manager, the floor manager, and the chef, they cornered off an area of the restaurant downstairs just for us, put together a super delicious and dietary diverse canapé buffet-style menu (at a very reasonable price per head), allowed us to bring in a birthday cake from an outside caterer, were attentive to and served our guests well all evening, managed the open tab seamlessly and professionally... and all of this with friendliness and smiles from A to Z! These guys went the extra mile! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner out in Richmond or for anyone looking for a place to have a small party of any kind. Thank you guys for making my birthday memorable!
