When I say five stars, it's not five stars in term of fancy or sophistication like you're eating at the Tack Room back in the day. But I will say I've eaten all the best places in Scottsdale and the Biltmore area, I've eaten in the steakhouse in the Winn sitting next to Al Pacino and the other best places in Vegas and this guy is getting right what higher end places are getting wrong. They tell you it is only a choice steak on the menu. When asking the waitress what was good she said locally sourced locally butchered and I 100% believe it! Better than some of the so called specialty butcher shops I've been to! This thing was perfectly cut. When I ordered it medium, it came medium. The shrimp wasn't overcooked. It was perfectly cooked, which they can screw up in any good steakhouse shockingly. This place was honest, the price was fair, staff was an absolute pleasure, and an absolute value. With a full bar, they served everything! There were several tables of couples; the fellas having beer and the ladies enjoying some very colorful concoctions! We had dinner here tonight. The place is nice and clean. Our server was great, paid us just the right amount of attention. We had beers first, super cold, a great way to finish a long day and start our meal. I ordered the Walleye Sandwich with a side salad. My wife ordered the small appetite slider meal. When our meals came out we were pleasantly surprised. The slider was just the right size, perfectly cooked and the fries were perfect. The salad came out first and it was very nice, fresh vegetables very tasty. The fish came out on a hoagie roll. The portion of fish was huge. The service is always top notch. Autumn Nichole and Miranda have always been on point. Ambiance is on par with someone going out to watch any show they want or social gatherings, you can be on the corner of any area and will always be attended to . Conveniently located across from my hotel, The Mav Bar and Grill got my business for dinner. There were a good number of folks dining on this Wednesday evening. Their laughter and conversations brought me comfort as I was dining alone on this occasion. Which seems to always be the case when driving across the country to see my girls. When I checked into my hotel, I asked the desk clerk if the Mav was any good. She said, "Oh yes, it's kind of like an Applebee's or a Chili's." I found it to indeed be like those two, but closer to Applebee's. There are a number of TVs playing sports and a couple showing clips of stupid human tricks. I watched the sports. I've had enough of stupid humans after dealing with those knuckleheads on the highways. My entree for the evening was a chopped steak smothered in mushrooms and onions. And I mean smothered! It came with two sides, which were somewhat limited. By that, I mean that there were plenty of potato options, but not many other vegetables to choose from. When I struggled to figure out what else to get with my mashed, the server suggested a double order. That'll work. There was so much smother on top of that steak, I was able to slop it on the double mound of spuds. It was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The Mav was mavelous!! Pleasantly surprised (party of three). Great service. As a New Orleans resident, I did not expect much in taste. I Just wanted to grab something close to my hotel (Holiday Inn). Food was great! Inviting, comfortable, clean, delicious, and hospitable! While traveling through Worthington, I found this restaurant. It's fairly new. The menu is significantly vast with a plethora of choices. I settled on their Mav Burger and requested a Bison burger patty. I enjoyed a cool, crisp salad first, and finished with a rich Chocolate Peanut Butter cake! I came in after 9pm on a Friday night, and was elated their kitchen was still open! I sat at the bar, caught the last laps of the Craftsman Truck race playing on a couple of their 13 flat screens that bordered the bar area. Nicole was a friendly, hospitable, and efficient bartender. The salad was a perfect appetizer, the ingredients were fresh and the honey mustard dressing was a perfect addition. The burger took a while to get, but it was worth the wait! All the flavors came together for wonderful experience! I would recommend this concoction to anyone! The chocolate peanut butter cake was devilishly rich! I convinced myself it was okay to finish it. Nice looking bar/restaurant. Food was meh. A tad bland. Our server was very friendly and remembered our order without writing anything down. She was the sole server for the bar area and the lone bartender. Went to this bar and grill today it's new to Worthington. The wonderful ground round use to be there which was soo good. Anyways my husband and I went today and it was NOT good it's so overly priced for what they serve. I had a burger which tasted warmed up and was definitely nothing special. The fries were ehh and my Mountain Dew was nothing to ride home about it tasted off. My husband had chicken and a beer and he said they were not good at all overly cooked. It was NOT busy at all and we waited 30 mins for our food!!! The service wasn't that great we were happy to leave and then to top the shitty food we both got really bad stomach aches. Service was good and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for as we were heading home from our road trip. Best part was the ice cold beer with a nice frozen mug. We got the chips and salsa appetizer to start. We enjoyed the queso and pineapple salsa. The red salsa and guacamole didn't taste homemade. I ordered the smash burger, which was a special. Where do I start? One waitress for the restaurant for during lunch. Our shrimp gumbo had the two shrimp the andouille sausage was so hot we couldn't eat it PLUs multiple hairs found in the gumbo. We wanted to run over for a quick dinner after a ong day on the road. Web site said no table available for over an hour so we orded take out. When I got there, the bar was complete empty and tables were probably two thirds empty. Why were there no tables available? we were staying in a hotel and when we got back, we found they had put no napkins or cutlery with the order. I then was treated to probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Most of it went in the garbage. If you're passing through this town, better off going to Mickey D's for dinner. read more

The food is terrible time after time. The pasta entries are not good, the sauce is gritty and tastes pasty. Little to no seasonings on most of the entries. The only good thing is probably the fried appetizers. The Mav has catered to some parties and I have heard nothing but bad reviews, a lot of food from them getting thrown away and people feeling sick after eating the food.
