That being said, I am also a slacker and it took some girl action to goad my ass into gear and get cracking on losing a few pounds as summer is coming and i want to look decent for it. Enter the fine folks at Intelligent Fitness. The place is on the small side - but they are really good at scheduling the classes - for the most part spinning is what they do - and there are plenty of choices so that you should be able to get the time / day you are looking for. The equipment is in fine shape and the instructors are very good at running the class and keeping you involved - plus they kept an eye on me the first time to be sure I didn't keel over and die. Thanks! Excellent place and they run Groupon specials from time to time so you can try before you dive in. Parking all around

When I brought it to management's attention, I was told this member had multiple complaints logged against her. Even though the member did not deny she put her hands on me, I was told repeatedly by management that the gym does not "take sides". How is that acceptable? I have to say this is one of the most troubling customer service experiences I have ever had. It is sad that I had to cancel a membership I very much enjoyed because the gym does not seem to care if a member feels safe and comfortable. There are certain members of this gym who are abrasive and think the rules don't apply to them - they're disrespectful to the instructors and do things like save equipment for their friends when that's against the rules. I always ignore their behavior but when it becomes problematic on this level where another member feels uncomfortable, it should be addressed with more than just a "talking to". On the positive side, Rosemary is a phenomenal instructor and community-maker. I loved taking her classes. Karen was my personal trainer and I would highly recommend her for anyone considering training. I also loved Mike Thompson's spin class. I will miss those three instructors as they're great assets to the gym. I will not miss the turning of a blind eye to bad member behavior just because it's inconvenient.

Only the managers can fix this. The first time I asked, the manager fixed it, but then the next time I came in the volume was way up again. It's uncomfortable to repeatedly ask this and the managers aren't always there, anyway. Why such loud music in that area? Please lower it. The other areas are very pleasant! I hope you will fix this! Thank you!

The employees are similar to a family. Everyone knows each other and works out with each other. Coaches are great and push you towards a plan for making you independent. They strive for you to workout in the classes and on your own and eventually use the PT sessions less. Many events take place making the most of the holidays and local events such as races and mud runs. Everyone is extremely friendly. People who come here pay a premium for the service and experience, that is rewarded ten-fold. Personal training experience has been awesome. The trainer is always focused and high energy. They forgot everything else and only concern themselves with getting the most of a workout from you. Free sweat towels and $1 bottled water which is fair. There is a water fountain as well. No shower facilities which is fine for me as I live within walking distance.

I attended a Wednesday night hot yoga boot camp class, which was so crowded that people's towels were practically touching each other! The instructor could not walk around for corrections as there was no room between people. This was an exercise class where people were moving around (jumping, etc) and of course sweating a lot as it is hot yoga, and sweat was flying. I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent experiences at Yogaflex studio,…read morespecifically relating to the conduct of instructor/owner Dana. During my classes, I have observed Dana frequently raising her voice at students and managing the class in a manner that feels more akin to running a deli counter than fostering a supportive yoga environment. This approach creates an atmosphere of discomfort rather than one of peace and relaxation, which is essential for yoga practice. Additionally, I have witnessed a teacher putting students on the spot, particularly regarding poses she struggles with herself. This not only undermines the students' confidence but also detracts from the overall experience. Or another teacher yelling at a student for throwing a dirty tissue in a freshly bagged wastebasket. Or once she kicked me into place with her foot instead of physically adjusting me. It was very disrespectful. I saw Dana berate a student for several minutes simply for having the wrong leg in a pose. Even after the student adjusted correctly, Dana continued to criticize them, stating that they shouldn't take her class if they couldn't follow her instructions. This went on and on and on. This level of control and negativity is not conducive to a positive learning environment. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the class, I unfortunately overheard Dana using inappropriate language while walking around the studio, suggesting that students should leave if they have complaints about her teaching style and she doesn't "put up with shit." This response is deeply troubling and does not reflect the supportive community one would hope to find in a yoga studio, which should be a. Safe space for everyone. Maybe the person didn't speak English well? I left the class feeling so angry and upset for the student. My nervous system was completely thrown. I believe constructive feedback is crucial for growth, and I hope this message serves as an opportunity for reflection on the studio's teaching methods and the behavior or the owners. It is vital for students to feel respected and supported in their practice and that yoga instructors be held account for bad behavior in order to provide a safe space for all. As she was leaving the class said she might need to do something else, agreed.
