That said, if you want to get away from the gym, work, life stress, and spend time making friends in a boozy fraternity like atmosphere then this is the right scene for you. It's a great forum for meeting lots of people (if in kickball, it's mostly for drinking and less athletic, with dodgeball it's inverse to that), with a range of interests including drinking, hooking up, and being somewhat athletic (aka glory days). Kickball is great for fun times and making you curse more in a game than you have in a year when your 'fun' team gets crushed by the competitive teams. Dodgeball is crazy competitive and exhilarating in its own way...but the drinks don't flow as much, at least til after the games. Both these leagues, plus the others, reward membership with a T-shirt and 2 open bars (mid and end season parties). Overall for $70 it's a great way to get away to college life again, just be sure to keep your day to day on the DL. No ones got time for your adulting.

If you're part of the "in crowd" calls get made in your favor, and if you're a newbie team or a less than "elite" team, there's really nothing you can do about it. It's also pretty obvious that the league's leadership wants to be well liked by the cool kids because they simply pretend like none of this is going on and any feedback or constructive criticism of the structure falls on deaf ears. Kickball is fun, don't get me wrong, but way too many people in this league think it's all there is to life. You'll find out quickly enough just how awesome their mad kickball skills are because they will let you know constantly...even in the rec/beginner league. If you're looking for a fun, relaxed way to play with people who like kickball, but have a life outside of it...I'd look elsewhere. After more than 5 seasons, I'll be looking for a new league to play in and so will my team. :)

This location is really close to me…read more Half the main workout area is about 4 rows of cardio machines, maybe like 25% is a functional fitness area. The rest is machines along with a spot for a dumbbell area and there is a row of 4-5 smith machines. There is 1 leg press machine that you can use with free weights. I've never used the locker room, so I can't speak on that. Otherwise this place is fine, it's always been clean and I've only interacted with the front desk when checking in and it's been fine. This facility doesn't have everything I would want in a gym for my personal needs, but it will not stop me from coming here because it is so close and has always been clean. There is plenty of parking, but it could use an update on painting lines. As long as you know what equipment is at whatever workout facility you want to workout at either within PF or outside, it's on the consumer to make that decision of what they want to do. I'm taking down a star because the Internet has been spotty and laggy for me in there, I don't ever use public wifi. This is when I need to check my email or load up an app on my phone, it can take a while for it to load. With that all being said this facility is great.. if you choose to work out here, just be aware of what equipment is available.

I also find a lot of garbage - bottles and towels, like they don't walk around. Well they really don't! Whenever I am there the employees are either talking amongst themselves or on their phones. I'm used to a gym where the staff talked to customers, walked around and offered help. Most of the time the new people don't seem too friendly, like your bothering them. I was super disappointed one night when a new employee apparently went on break and proceeded to join me in the massage chair room.....as she talked on her phone....loudly. Oh well. I will still go there! Hell I might even work there if I had a chance! But I would smile and be more engaging.

After moving here, my husband and I were set on finding a good gym for our lifting and after trying half a dozen we tried out Designer Bodies and knew it was perfect for what we needed. It's not as large as some gyms around here but the equipment is some of the best I've seen and the owners are always around. There are a few things that could improve, but hopefully as the membership grows some of those things will happen naturally. I would love if they were able to move all the cardio and yoga mat stuff into a separate back room, it would give more privacy to them and more space for lifting equipment (another squat rack!). Another thing would be if the music changed. Currently, it's a little on the mellow side and I prefer a gym with upbeat music playing over the grunts of everyone working out. I also would love if they had longer hours as my job prevents me from getting in before they close on some nights. But again, these are all small things that are not going to prevent you from having a killer workout. I love the vibe here. Some people, like myself, like to get in and get out, and you can do that here. You can also hang out, like others do, and everyone seems to be pretty friendly so that's cool too.

I don't recommend any person I know to ever go there unless being talked about like a piece of meat is your cup of tea. Then by all means there's a teenage minded douche that wears booty shorts at the same time as a bandana that I'm sure will be there to disrespect you when your not looking. I tried returning when that Jersey Shore wanna be wasn't there(because my company had got a Hotel fairly close to that location)unfortunately it came as no surprise that he had nowhere else to be. As bad luck would have it I showed up before the sun is up, and even after our morning meeting. But everytime the booty short wearing womanizer was there... All in all its unsettling to hear and disturbing to see. Save your money and try a respectable gym.

Clearly the league promotes the baseball culture of parents serving kids, although the kids don't always understand the impact this brings to their baseball experience, the outcome is obvious. East dale produces winners! The support from parents allows the coaches and staff to do their thing. "It takes a village" to produce quality baseball players. Great job East dale!

Development is a priority over winning and it shows in the kids and coaches. If you are looking for super competitive, probably stick to club ball. Everyone gets to play here, the kids are happy, the atmosphere is fun. The concession stand is delicious... For a concession stand. They have adequate shade on most fields. They only have porta potties but they do survice them regularly. Parking fills quickly.. so come early.
