It is located on 8th Avenue and W 38th st, on the 4th Floor. I was in town for the BIG Salsa festival and this is where the pre-party was held. Entry was $30. The studio is relatively small (about 1,700 sq ft), but I was very impressed by how many dancers fit and made it work. The special performances at midnight were super fun. Everyone was welcoming too. Stephany was born in Venezuela and raised in Florida, where she started dancing ballet at the age of six. At 17, she took her first Salsa class and fell in love with the style. She competed in the World Salsa Summit in 2017, winning first place alongside her coach, Melanie Castillo. Stephany continued her training under Master level teachers such as Tamara Livolsi, Marisol Blanco, and Adolfo Indacochea. Ángel was born in New York City, and raised in Philadelphia to a proud Dominican family. At 18, he discovered his passion for Latin dance and never looked back. He has trained under World Champion, Darlin Garcia, Noel Rodriguez, Adolfo Indacochea, and has won 3 titles of his own. Angel and Stephany have been dancing together since 2018. This was like heaven compared to our last school that had upwards of 70 or 80 people packed into 1 class. The instructors were very knowledgeable and broke down the steps well. If you weren't getting the moves, they would nicely suggest staying at that level before moving to the more advanced class. The schedule was great for us and the price was great, the instructors are great. Go go go!

My friends and I bought a groupon for Venus for a few classes and after one class never returned. Save your money! I'm definitely not the type to waste a Groupon but this was just a bad experience. We found this place to be extremely judgmental and unfriendly to beginners. They only have two poles and there were at least 7-8 girls in the class. What's the point of trying a new thing like pole dancing if the instructor is judging you? She couldn't hide her face expressions. The whole thing was just uncomfortable.

We are extremely disappointed how Diller handled their classes during pandemic. We've seen other…read moremusic place immediately shift their platform to online class such as zoom while everybody is ordered to stay at home. However, diller didn't provide any online class, the only thing we got is a weekly email with some crappy links, like mp3. With all the things start to reopen in the summer, we start to see outdoor music classes held by others. So we followed up with diller and hope they will arrange some make up classes, if not, get prorated refund. Unfortunately, their respond email is that we will not get any refunds even the classes are only held half during the semister. And we should be appreciate their emails and should be thankful as other families do. We spent around $1,300 for the whole semester, which will be 15 classes, until pandemic happened, we only took 7 classes, and now the rest is just forfeited (who will even count email as a class, not mention for a baby). Diller's class is the most expensive one among other baby music classes, the reason we chose them is that they have a piano player with each class, and we also want to establish a relationship with the school so my kid will learn instruments with them when they grow. But after Covid-19, we realized that the main goal Diller-Quaile has is to make money, they didn't really care if my baby learned any music. Until now, we didn't get any respond from them how they handle the missed classes, we only got respond because we followed up with them. But we still get their emails to donate money to help out kids learn music. We also saw that they updated their next semester registration. They will provide both online and in-person classes. And the price will be different. Our questions to Diller is that: if you have online classes, why you didn't provide it to my baby during pandemic, if the price is different, why we didn't get refund? It is obvious that they only spent time to build up this registration platform so you can pay them, but they will never refund you. Good luck to all who choose Diller-Quaile!
