He will literally go on and help with any questions or concerns you might have, about your prescriptions, along with the items in the store. All the pharmacists and people who work there are great! The only thing that I wish was different was that that they would be open even for a couple hours on Sundays (esp. since lately that happens to be the day when mu prescriptions can be filled). Anywhere that is willing to call and deal with the insurance company for you get an "A+" from me! :)

While such equipment can be a boon to the handicapped, a dependence on them makes their routine failure a real emergency. Thats when the real value of a committed, top-notch local vendor like Letourneau's becomes clear. One such incident (not the first) happened this morning, motivating this review: an electric lift failed on Saturday morning of a stormy weekend, and we sent a panicy email to Letourneau's. One of their heros (Luis) responded immediatly with a quick house call, and the device was back in service bybmid morning. Its hard to put a value on this level of support, but worth thinking about when you're choosing a vendor for something you'll depend on.

It's a pharmacy, not a toy shop, so it can only be so exciting. That being said, my experiences…read morehave been overall pretty good and consistent here. The pharmacists are (mostly) friendly, and prescriptions are usually ready for pickup within 10-15 minutes of waiting. The cons? There is no fancy online portal like most hospitals have. The portal they do have is more of a digital form submission, and then you get a text/email confirmation when it's ready for pick up. It does seem pretty glitchy; I once got a text to pick up a second prescription I'd ordered (that I assumed wasn't ready yet) about 2 minutes after I picked up the first one, as if the notification was triggered by my pickup. The people who answer the phones are usually irritated and/or in a rush to get you off the line. I had a gentleman that wasn't very friendly on the phone today when I called to see if a prescription was ready. I've also had the phone just ring with no answer. When I've asked to be called for pickup notification, no one ever calls. Oh, and bags are 5 cents. All that being said, the location is extremely convenient for T-users or Back Bay workers (it's between the Arlington green line stop and the Back Bay orange line stop, in a brick building next to a furniture store). The pharmacists know their stuff, are certified with iPledge, and are not shy to give you a full lesson of your new prescription, which I love. There's also free pill organizers and slicers, and I can't complain about that!

Kind of hit or miss…read more They have a local courier and will ship to locations outside the neighborhood, which is nice. However, the courier service leaves controlled substances on the porch or in the mailbox where they get stolen, then the pharmacy denies it happened, insisting "those require a signature" (but is apparently not able to pull up a signature log or anything, just insisting the courier wouldn't have left them without a signature), and then makes the patient do the legwork to get new prescriptions from the provider. The staff are incompetent, but the manager will usually fix things. They do things like enter prescription refills as new prescriptions, or fill controlled substance prescriptions out of order, and then the previous ones expire. The manager can usually sort this out, but it shouldn't require asking for the manager every time. I've had to insist the pharmacy call the provider to explain that new prescriptions are needed because of the pharmacy's error. They wanted the patient to call, and seem to be lacking awareness in terms of community healthcare for marginalized people. I had to spell out for them why it looks bad when someone is requesting replacement prescriptions of controlled substances every few months.

Fantastic customer service in a place I never expected it to come from! The establishment was put together well with a great flow to the store and adequately stocked. I had found everything I was looking for in a short period of time. The interior of the practice itself is decorated with obvious delight and joy, with a clear emphasis on being a safe space for clients. Dr. Ah-Kiné fosters a sense of relaxed competence and straightforward communication that is all too often a rare thing in medical professionals. They explained the procedures as they performed them, gave no judgements or lectures for any information I offered (I'm getting better about sleeping in contacts, I promise), and overall gave me their full attention for the length of my appointment. Mac was similarly a warm and welcoming help in discussing options for contact pricing and glasses, and the front desk staffperson was prompt, friendly, and had truly fantastic eyeliner wings. :) Overall: Gaze is 100% my new go-to eye doctor, no question about it.
