Was a pretty cool show. We couldn't figure out how in the world he did the rubic cube trick or how he had the lottery balls figured out when it all seemed so random. Thought it was interesting that me and my son were front row dead center but he didn't pick us to participate in the show but chose everyone around us. He didn't ask anyone who looked like us to participate and I found that a little hurtful but for that reason I won't go back. Overall it was an interesting experience.

It was very entertaining and interactive. I think Gerry and Maya did some magic tricks with the lottery balls and Rubix cube, but the show was very entertaining. It was a fun show.

Mom was part of the show--though I am sure she was glad she didn't have to get up on stage!

Date of visit: 8/21/22 Having experienced Colin Cloud as part of the Shin Lim show, we knew that this would be something Mom would love when we brought her back to Vegas and it did not disappoint! Having Mom actually be part of the show with her index card "selected" was a nice extra touch; I don't think she believes me that I didn't do anything to have her be part of the show, ha ha! While there obviously has to be some kind of trick behind what it is that Gerry does, I can't figure it out and instead chose to just sit back and enjoy the show instead, and I am glad that we did. The theatre is really nothing to write home (or to Yelp) about, though I will say the seats were comfortable and the joint appeared clean. If this more basic theatre helps keep ticket costs low, I have no complaints!

Gerry was simply amazing. He covered so many tasks in one hour. He left us in awe repeatedly and kept raising and meeting our expectations in a consistent manner throughout the show. His mentalist skills are mind blowing for sure but what mattered even more was his entertainment ability. He kept the audience very involved. This being a smaller audience (unlike the big shows with several hundreds of people), it felt more personal. You want to be picked and you don't want to be picked. It's fun to be on stage but he kept that little element of fear in us on how he COULD unwind your more personal stuff (if not your darkest secrets, haha). I think it was intentional. If you check in on yelp, you get a discount of 50% for additional shows. Gerry also gave some lucky winners a few souvenirs. All the guests received a key chain with their photo with LV scenery in the background. That's a nice touch by the showrunners. I would 100% recommend it.

Amazing show! Unbelievable how he does it! The interactive show is 1 like I've never seen. Gerry makes the show fun with his great personality. My husband is a fan of the show. I'm looking forward to reading his book.

BUY TICKETS, SERIOUSLY!! Initially I was skeptical and came in with that sense of this could be completely staged and fake but I was open minded, by the end I purchased his book and I really had a great time and would definitely see him again. The show was SO ENTERTAINING And I really recommend sitting as close as possible! He's so funny's and great at talking to people. I didn't get picked but it was great to see him perform. There was some points in the show where I was literally scared for his life but it was so good and I would definitely see him again if I'm in Vegas. I highly recommend this show as one of the best shows in Vegas and definitely go if you need a good laugh !! He's also such a NICE guy it's unreal how down to earth he is. It is really magic how he has the ability to engage an entire theater that comes from all walks of life. The person sitting next to me were both talking and laughing together by the end of the show, you really can't ask for more.

Mentalist Gerry Mccambridge. Great show!

I attended his show several years ago, so was anxious to see it again while I was in Vegas. I was, of course, impressed with his mentalism and performance skills. But I was particularly touched by a couple of things he said to audience members whom he, through his skills, knew were going through difficult times. When an entertainer not only entertains an audience but touches them emotionally, you're watching a pro.

The venue/theater is a small and cozy. However, the actual show is very hokey and obviously staged. We were very disappointed.

Ask the Community - The Mentalist

Have free tickets, and hoping it would be good for a family night. Is the show appropriate for a 9 year old girl?

Our age suggestion is 13 and older.

I have a weird sense of humor to where I will NOT and I mean will not laugh at any comedy shows or be shocked at magic shows. I'm being completely honest Will this be a good show for me?

I'm not sure if it would or not but I can tell you that this wasn't typical magic or comedy. It was really awe dropping stuff and there was no way for him to know a lot of what he knew so it didn't seem like a 'trick'. We left the show amazed and…

My wife and kids were next in line and were about to get on when one of the employees went around asking people to wait until 9pm when the fireworks would be going off. My kids were getting restless and didn't care to wait so they decided to go on anyway. The ride is supposed to last for 10 mins but they were only at the top for only 2-3 mins. The guy on the ride felt bad and told my wife and kids they could stay on since they were only on it for a couple mins but the lady who was working the line and operating the ride ushered them off as quick as she could. When my wife asked for an explanation why their ride was cut short, she said they promised a bunch of people they would get to go on and see the fireworks and that they wouldn't fit. She also said she spoke to her in a very condescending way. The rest of the main experience again in the main building was pretty awesome. Arcade was great, VR attractions were fun. This last interaction was just a really bad way to end the night.

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Incredible. Magic…read morehas always been something that intrigued me, but seeing it live is a completely different experience. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop wondering how he was doing any of it. Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

As soon as we sat down we became immediately chilled. The A/C was blowing full force from the vents in the wall behind us! Brrrr! It became so intolerable that my hubby mentioned our discomfort to one of the ushers. She kindly sat us closer to the stage on a nice cushioned bench. I couldn't believe that they made such nice accommodations for us! Mat Franco is very engaging and very family oriented. We enjoyed his magic show, which is family friendly. You could hear the kids let out oooohs and aaaahs throughout the show. We highly recommend this very entertaining show.

When the hot crooner started singing about being with men and women, I was nearly on the floor laughing! Great show with all of the typical saloon types, the madam, the employees, the mayor, preacher, etc. It was just hilariously great! The whole ambiance was very wild west and it showed all over. They really put a lot of work into this place! Everything from just the stage to the restrooms was on-theme. We were seated up on the stage which I don't necessarily think were the best seats in the end but it was great to be up there with the action around us. Next time I would get in front of the stage though. Really was a top notch show! The quiet nuns were also a laughing riot too!

Date of visit: January 2, 2026…read more Absinthe is one of my favorite shows on The Strip, so I was really excited to give the Atomic Saloon Show a try, though I will admit the poster does not really prepare you for this show. Absinthe's poster really gives you a better idea of what you are going to see, whereas Atomic Saloon's poster looks more akin to a unisex Thunder Down Under when it's really more R-rated Hee Haw. The loose story involves a brothel and a host of characters that interact with the facility and its matriarch but the comedy is really where it's at. From the Irish dancers with questionable teeth (when the bread started flying I could not stop laughing!) to the various aerial feats displayed, Atomic Saloon has a little bit of everything though it's not for the faint of heart--several people in our section left a few minutes into the show. As much fun as we had, the seats on the second floor are not great and you end up missing some of the action. Even more disappointing was that there were quite a few empty seats on the main level, and it would have made for an even better show if we had been given the opportunity to move forward like we did at OPM, another Spiegelworld show that used to run at Cosmopolitan.

Absolutely spectacular! This is hands down the best show in Vegas…read more My family and I booked this show for a Saturday night with no knowledge of what it would be like and were simply amazed. We had seen the Cirque du Soleil Show "O" before and this just does not even compare. I recommend getting seats in the center, facing the middle of the stage, as close to the front row as possible. Sitting in this section immerses yourself into the show. Logistically, this is a great venue. It is located in Treasure Island. It is in the back of the casino. Although there are signs throughout the casino leading you there, it is quite easy to get turned around on your way there. Once you find it, it is simple to enter. Use the restroom before you get in though because it is located outside of the theater! We arrived around 20 minutes prior to showtime and had no wait at all to enter. They offer commemorative photos for purchase, which we declined. There was no security which surprised me. There were no metal detectors or bag searches. Inside the theater, there is a large concessions stand with snacks and drinks. Even close to show time, there was no line there either. They have a lot of staff available to guide you to your seats - it's very efficient. The seats were actually very comfortable. They were soft, spacious, and had a lot of leg room. Even though there were no lines for anything, you absolutely need to get there early. The "show" starts before is set time as there is a comedic character that hilariously interacts with the crowd. This is a must-see and had everyone cracking up with the unexpectedness of it. The show itself is pure spectacle. It is a bizarre exhibition of talent and creativity. You will see everything from trapeze, contortion, acrobatics, dance, balancing acts, comedy, and live music from an orchestra, band, and singers. Seeing these athletes push the limits of what the human body can do in such a beautiful manner is incredibly thrilling. The costumes are beautiful and the sets are amazing. Every scene change and act is so unexpected and really leave you at the edge of your seat. You quite literally have to keep your eyes peeled open to make sure you don't miss anything. There are so many different things happening at once all across the stage, on the floor, the ceiling, and even along the walls and walkways of the audience. There is no clear plot so you may find yourself sitting there trying to figure out what it all means. Some people may find this boring but it truly makes the whole thing more fascinating. There is an obvious intention behind every little thing, it is just unclear what it is. It is truly a mystery. I have recommended this show to everyone I know and I would love to see it again!

This show has been running for 30 years, and it kind of shows. Although I'm sure the acrobatic acts…read morehave changed over the years to keep it fresh, it's still entertaining, though not as grandiose as other Cirque shows. Most of the show is nonsensical, so don't look for a plot. Something to consider if you think to yourself, I've seen this before, the fact that the show HAS been running for 30+ years means those other shows stole it from this one. Logistically, I had to pick up the tickets at will call, and when I arrived 35 minutes before show time, the line to get in was already snaking through the casino. While I panicked a little, the line moved super fast when they opened the doors. I didn't need to get into that long line. An important thing to remember, if you pick up your tickets at Will Call, you need some ID and the credit card you used to buy them. I was lucky I bought them online the night before, while I was already in Vegas, but I often use a different credit card when buying from home. So to cum up, depending on your taste, this show represents the original Cirque du Soleil concepts, and that's what you'll see.
