I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.

The studio serves a wide range of students--from young children to high-schoolers--and Lisa does an exceptional job meeting each student exactly where they are. Our child's goal was to build a strong portfolio to apply to Interlochen, first for Interlochen Arts Camp's regular visual arts program, then for the advanced painting camp at IAC, and ultimately for the Arts Academy. All three applications were successful, and Artfully Young played a huge role in that outcome, and our child is now a proud Inty student. Lisa provides instruction that is carefully tailored to each student's skill level, helping them focus on fundamentals and technique before moving into more complex observational work. Over time, our child worked in watercolor, ink, acrylics, oils, and pencil, and we saw steady, meaningful growth in both their technical skills and artistic confidence. When we did our recordings, he gave each of us feedback that we could use, not just for the characters we chose, but things we could use generally for any part. Dennis ultimately gave us many resources where we could continue to work on our craft and potentially even land Voice Over jobs. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with NextGen Acting.

She really was a rude and nasty misandrist. The unspoken problem appeared to be our differences in politics even though we never discussed these. In fact I bent over backwards to avoid any contoversial subject. I was learning how to hand sew Revolutionary War reenacting garments and it is my opinion she resented this hobby. In addition, she would often make disparaging remarks to me in front of the class. I wrote a complaint letter to program director and never even received the courtesy of a response. Putting my interactions aside, the facility itself is completely run down. The bathrooms are disgusting, the hallways and offices have musty odors, there is no adequte air conditioning during the summer, the exterior grounds are a mess, and the building would likely fail a fire safety inspection. I have subsequently found several superior alternatives.

The motor on the waterslide blower did not work and we had to wait for them to find another one. We were given a date for pick up and they showed up a day early, interrupting our Father's Day celebration. We had to scramble again as we were not prepared for an early pick up. To top it off we were charged almost 50.00 extra for "processing fees" that were not disclosed or agreed upon in the rental agreement. The delivery crew was wonderful but the whole ordeal was very stressful.
