I was in Miami for my best friends bachelorette party weekend and Stu was hired for the weekend to cook for us and stock the kitchen .. Stu did all of that and more! For starters the kitchen was stocked to perfection, we had everything a group of 15 girls could possibly need. The meal Stu cooked for us was absolutely amazing, delicious appetizers, perfectly cooked steak, potatoes, vegetables (there was A LOT of food)- Stu even made it a point to go out of his way to cook salmon for the non-meat eaters of the group, which was delicious as well. Followed by dessert and we were stuffed- it was so nice to be able to sit around with old friends and have our meal prepared, served, and cleaned up for us, Stu took care of it all! Lastly, I was the first to go to the airport the morning he was serving our farewell brunch (I was up and ready to go early, long before everyone else) and even though the other girls wouldn't be out of bed for a while and brunch wasn't quite ready to be served Stu still offered to make me breakfast and fresh squeezed juice for my departure. We hired Chef Stu and themiamipersonalchef.com to cook for my family reunion of 25 people last week as we rented a large waterfront home in Miami Beach. The chef had planned the one main meal that we had hired him for but to our surprise he added a free lunch for the entire group upon our arrival from the airport. This could not have been more timely in that we were tired and hungry after a long day of travel and extremely kind of the chef to do this for free! The chef assisted us in getting our luggage in, made us drinks while we were in the pool and even took a group of the kids and gave them an unplanned cooking class and let them make their own pizzas, all while he was working on the preparation of the main meal at the same time! I must say that we are experienced travelers both domestically and internationally and we have never been treated so kindly and professionally as we were by Chef Stu!!! His attention to detail, welcoming spirit, great food, cleanliness and organizational skills really made us feel pampered like the lifestyles of the rich and famous!! Hey, my name is Frank. I. from Philly. my fellow coaches and I started using Chef Stu back in 2003. As u can imagine we had quite a lot of outgoing people with a lot of different tastes. He took the shopping order and got all that done for us before we even arrived. By the time we got to the house we rented everything was set up. Apps, snacks beer wine. Dinner was cooking. Not only did was he able to please all of us, but we hired him every year since. He became our friend. And trust me, we just don't let anyone into to our relm. It was not just the food that made us become a regular customer of Stu's but his ability to fit in with the group and really became our friend. Chef Stu is the "cream of the crop!" We, seven women from Minnesota, hired him to do all our shopping, prepare a buffet meal and bartend the day of arrival at our rented Miami vacation home. Chef Stu quickly became indespensible. In addition to being a culinary genius, he took care of us in every imaginable way. We were spoiled rotten by Chef Stu. The seven of us decided to hire him, if he would have us, for the entire time we were at our rental. I thank my lucky stars that he was available. Boy, what a treat! He is incredibly perceptive. He catered to our every whim. In addition to preparing our meals, he fixed the pool, did laundry, tidied up the pool area every morning, including washing and folding towels, and ran to the store as needed. Chef Stu was great in creating the perfect experience for my boyfriend's surprise birthday dinner! He spent 2 months finding the perfect location in Miami to have the dinner and cooked the food himself to honor my boyfriend's contribution as a Marines Veteran. The night went exactly as Chef Stu described it would go! He had the table set with all of the items that I brought over to him weeks before, and provided such an amazing scene that my boyfriend was so moved. He said no one had ever done a dinner like this for him before. My experience with Chef Stu was great and I will actually highly recommend him to many friends of mine. Stuart was hired for our anniversary dinner. We had multiple phone conversations for planning in which Stu was very helpful, listened very well but also interjected ideas. His recollection of our menu choices was exact and his shopping was spot on, very respectful of our budget while delivering a spectacular meal for 8 with great presentation and attention to detail. He was punctual and even fixed us a refreshing lunch while he prepared for dinner. The Grouper was perfectly prepared as were all our side dishes. He not only cooked, served but also kept our wine glasses full cleaned up well and even served after dinner coffee! Chef Stu treated us like queens! A group of friends and I rented a home in Miami for 5 days to celebrate our 45th birthdays! We had planned to only have one meal prepared by Chef Stu, but due to other circumstances, Chef Stu ended up staying with us for most meals the entire duration. Each morning we awoke to the smell of coffee brewing, the smell of yummy breakfast food and a beautiful spread ready to go outside on our terrace table. We spoke for roughly 5 minutes and during that conversion nothing was confirmed or finalized, it was as previously stated, just an inquiry. On March 19, 2015, I was blind-sided with the emails spewing hate and racist remarks. I'm posting this "review" to hopefully let the masses aware of how he feels about current and possibly future clients. He a local business who clearly doesn't value those who grant him a living. I would recommend Chef Stu to anyone looking for a phenomenal meal and excellent customer service! He was extremely professional and very accommodating. We had a group of 16 girls for a bachelorette party and Stu was scheduled to come cook for us on Friday night at our rental house. Long story short we had to vacate our rental house and ended up at a hotel. I had tried everything from the grilled shrimp and steaks to caribben dishes and salads. I loved them all! My favorite was his curry shrimp with sweet onion and peppers.
