In the heart of San Fernando Valley is a pretty well known place, mostly amongst punk and metal fans. By day it's a nondescript record store but sometimes, before the sun goes down the volume turns up, the crowd gets physical and the bands TURN UP. If you've been here you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't and you like your music loud, you may want to change that. I was summoned here by the band Knocked Loose where I was one of the lucky 472 (that's maximum capacity) in attendance to see them at a secret show held at this most intimate venue. The venue is actually pretty decent sized and the stage is probably six inches or so off the ground. This kind of sucked because there were a ton of photographers looking to get that great shot in people's way. Sound was great and best of all, no alcohol is served. Merch is all in another room. Parking is ample, just in other lots. You just might have to cross a street or two. No biggie. Midnight Hour Records is a great place to see a show. I wish I got to see the records but they have to get the place ready for bands. Maybe next time I can support this great small business. Highly recommended!

I hadn't been to the SF city area in decades and we finally came out here to watch the Texas death metal band Creeping Death play live in their spacious back room. The live music event cost 27 bucks which gave you access to the back. The store itself has a lot of cool products to offer besides the vinyl and CDs. We liked the vibe and we plan on coming back for future concerts.

What a cool store! Eclectic finds new and old. Buttons and pins, records, cd's , apparel, cassettes, and soooooooo much more. They were setting up for a video so there was no Photography allowed that day. My son walked out with a vintage corduroy Dodgers hat and a Beastie Boys album! Score!

    Great shop with great selection

Love a good weekend crate dig, and Midnight Hour came in clutch. What a find! I spent a few hours here on a Saturday, digging through what they had to offer and STILL didn't even scratch the surface of everything they had. They have all genres of vinyl, a whole discounted price section of used records, along with CDs and a middle display of great gift ideas for any unique soul in your life. $1 single records on certain genres which was awesome Not crowded at all, even on a weekend, which gives you plenty of space to enjoy the good tunes playing over the store speakers while you look for whatever inspires you. Reasonably priced and a great local record shop to scratch that solid vintage music itch. Walked out with 3 new records and a hip hop single for $60. Overall, I am happy and proud to have a chill, not overpriced record store in our valley. Stop on in for a dig and keep the sound of vinyl alive.

I'm in love! Such a cool neighborhood spot. They have a great selection of records organized by category. My favorites sections to check out were the "dad jams" and "mom jams" sections! Funny and spot on. They have a bunch of r&b, soul, punk, country and movie soundtrack albums. A lot of the new or well known classic albums were around $30 bucks, but they also had a used section for albums $5 and under. Their selection of newer albums is pretty slim so if you are looking for a new release you might not find it here. There are plenty of goodies for sale like crystals, notepads, awesome pendants flags, band shirts, car air fresheners, pins, stickers, Mexican blankets, candles and much more. We bought 5 albums for $35! They also have a stage where the host show! Definitely will check that out one day! Pro tip: if you can find parking on the street, there's a free public lot around the corner! A special thanks to the person who rang us out and gave us some waters when we asked if they had drinks for sale (they don't). We appreciated the kindness! :)

Great selection of 45rpm vinyl. Picked up about 6 records. Definitely worth going through all the bins. And cool shirts also.

First, if you're expecting a polished, curated vintage boutique, All Things and More probably isn't that place. You absolutely have to dig. Things are constantly coming through the doors, sometimes faster than Zach could possibly sort through them. And honestly? That's one of the reasons I love it. Zach could pull out every desirable vintage piece, research it, clean it, stage it, photograph it beautifully and charge vintage-boutique prices. He could probably make a lot more money. But he doesn't. Instead, people like me watch his Instagram, see something amazing come in, and practically race each other down there hoping we get to it first. I have furnished a good portion of my own home this way. My dining table, chandelier, leather sofa and several of my favorite vintage pieces came from All Things and More. I've found brand-new items still in their boxes, beautiful vintage furniture, clothing and some wonderfully strange treasures that I would have paid considerably more for somewhere else. People from the entertainment industry also shop there for clothing and pieces for productions, and items from productions sometimes make their way back through the store. You truly never know what you're going to find. But none of that is actually the biggest reason I support this place. It's Zach. I affectionately call him "the Saint of the Valley of the Sun." I've personally watched this man make sure hungry people had something in their stomachs. I've seen him offer water, fruit, tamales and Cup Noodles. I've watched him give clean underwear and clothing to people experiencing homelessness and tell them to go find themselves some pants and shirts. I've watched him give people work when they needed an opportunity. He helps provide food through a pantry and has stepped up when people in his community were afraid to go out and needed help. And one of the things that has stayed with me most is watching him encounter someone who is struggling and simply ask, "How are you feeling?" Not "What do you want?" "How are you feeling?" He sees people. So yes, you may find a dusty basket. You may have to move things around. You may leave with dust on your hands. This is a rough, old-school thrift shop, and nobody who loves it is going to pretend otherwise. But if you slow down long enough to really look, you might also find an incredible piece for your home that you can actually afford. You might find something with a history. You might find something nobody else noticed. And somewhere in the middle of all that beautiful chaos, you'll probably find Zach making sure somebody has eaten that day. That is why people are drawn to him. All Things and More isn't perfect. It isn't curated for Instagram. It's messy, unpredictable, affordable, interesting and deeply human. And I hope it stays that way.

The store is pretty organized as well, just wish they had dressing rooms but if you're a Veteran at thrifting, you know to wear tights and shirt so you can try the clothes on over your clothes. Music is always a hit there, too and I think its because of the sales people there. Maybe they go to CSUN (insert thinking emoji, lol). One thing that kind of annoys me though is how they place the price tags on their clothes, they staple them on. It hasn't damaged any of the items I bought but its quite tasking taking them off and most of their store is priced decently. Check them out if you're a thrifter, you wont be disappointed.

Large parking lot. I was donating items and learned, after going inside and tracking down an employee, receiving of donations is done "around the back." After driving around, we found the open bay, with a tent, but no employees. We unloaded the car, thinking someone would be out shortly, but all we heard was music from their radio. We didn't need a receipt, but it would have been frustrating if we did. I appreciate this organization and the span of their charitable works, but after driving to multiple thrift stores making donations, this locations seems very understaffed. That aside, it is a great thrift store with some unique items and even unworn, original tags. I will continue to support. Cheers! "CC"
