Their videos are organized by how a cinema fan's mind works. By category, by country, by director. John Woo movies in the Hong Kong director's section. Hou Hsiao-Hsien in Taiwan. There's classic porn from the 70s, 80s and 90s. There are Criterion discs. There are John Huston movies, Godard movies, Wim Wenders and David Lynch. Dario Argento horror movies. Sci-fi. Pre Sci-fi. Post Sci-fi. Brazilian. African. Silent films... I could go on and on. If you are looking for an obscure out of print classic film that's not on streaming, there's an 80% chance that you can find it here to rent. There is street parking nearby. The problem? I live in OC and this place is in Mount Washington/Montecito Heights. So if I move down there, I'll be renting some unheard of movies, that's for sure!

Even though it's a small shop, it's packed with a variety of new and used LPs & EPs from various musical genres. I came here to pick up some records for a friend as a holiday gift. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed browsing through the stacks and saw some records that brought back some great memories. The bouncer told us they actually ended 2 hours ago from the original time they said. I was furious because not even a notification was sent to us that they changed the time. I would figure venues would notify their customers about the time changes but not even an email sent. Definitely not coming back for another events to this location. Poor communication management with their customers.

The selection is great and the guy working the shop that day was nice. The "venue" itself is so quaint and perfect for an intimate show. The bartender was also friendly and made a great gin and tonic. There are two restrooms in the venue. Both are single restrooms but are very clean. There is plenty of street parking. But it is street parking only.
