Delicious leg of lamb! I guess some of you forgot I am still on this thing. The portions are generous and the food is amazing. It was so good that I could not take a picture of it. You just have to eat there to see it. So good! Everything is fresh as well. read more

What a great surprise. Our tour driver made this recommendation during our tour of the Blarney Castle so we had to try it out. I had the beef stew, my husband had the beef special and one of my sons had a pepperoni pizza. All were seriously delicious and moderately priced. Only disappointing thing was the ham and cheese wrap I ordered for my other son. He likes things pretty plain so it was a tortilla, a small piece of ham and a tiny piece of cheese. Not worth what I paid for it but I think that was my fault. read more

This was a chaotic place to figure out lunch. I did get the artisanal sandwich of turkey, ham lettuce and tomato. It was very dry and kinda meh! Options are limited so for location and convenience they get a better score! read more

After visiting Blarney castle, we were looking for a reasonably quick lunch, so we would have a little time to run through the shops before we had to be back on the coach. There was a quite a line for the sandwiches, but it moved pretty quickly. My wife and I both had turkey & cheddar on the multi-grain roll, with mayo and greens. At the last second, I asked the young lady to also add a little of the coleslaw to the sandwiches. That turned out to be the difference. Everything was fresh and good, but the coleslaw on top made it great. Add to that some homemade crisps, and it was a real winner. read more

Most of the time the restaurant at these tourist attracts are absolute trash. I was shocked that this restaurant actually provided some fresh and affordable food options. I had their burger and my wife had the fish and chips. The portion sizes were HUGE. I barely finished my burger and I eat a lot. It was a full half pound burger, came with a small side salad, and fries! My wife had a giant piece of fish and it came with fries also. She finished the fish only and it was actually better than any we had while we were in the city. read more

Not many eating options near blarney castle. Went with the mill restaurant because it was the most ideal for our tour meeting point. They don't serve lunch or alcohol until noon, but were nice enough to give us water and let us sit at the bar while we waited. It was pouring rain outside. We weren't starving so shared a soup and sandwich. I must say I love the way the Irish make ham & cheese. The white bread is fluffy and everything tastes fresher. The soup of the day was carrot and parsnip. Nice herbal flavor and a chunkier soup adding to heartiness. For dessert we grabbed a rhubarb pie slice. It was a nice blend of sweet and sour. Other than the wait, we loved this place! Beautiful decor and some cozy nooks for privacy. read more

Busy busy cafeteria style restaurant at the entrance of the Blarney Castle. Divided up into different sections sandwiches, hot food, desserts, etc. So the wait isn't that bad. I had their 4 choice salad bar. Everything was good and fresh. D had the Irish stew which was delicious. The meat was very tender and the sauce was perfect. We finished with a Death By Chocolate slice of cake. Heavenly. Finding a clean table was tough. We did finally snag a partially clean table. Price wise not too bad considering where the restaurant is located at. read more

The food is lovely, very well seasoned and quite tasty. There's very good service and a lot of staff. The atmosphere is warm and positive. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. Overall, my experience here was excellent. read more

The pizza and fries were good. Fries were not seasoned at all which was a bit weird - don't know if it's common in Ireland. The service was a bit slower but it was okay since we were not in any hurry. The staff was good - won't say friendly though. Not if the person attending us was just having a bad day. Nice place overall.
