They seem very unorganized and the billing stinks. always charging me for something that isn't right. No bill, no explanation, just debit my bank account? The doctor si see is very helpful and tries. I started Nov 2023. Was a patient for less than a year. Didnt get the hour appointment with kevin. Now I owe money, but was never told about any of it until after the fact. I did receive any statements. I call with an attitude, yet they don't offer any help and yell at me. The hour appts were never the hour long. Or he always said we need to wrap up early. I felt never a priority. Yet he always was looking at the co.puter responding texts during my appt time putting on cologne. I wyd never have a problem, yet they give me more problems. Yet again... I was never told about this when I came into the office and nothing for a statement was given during the so called year I was so called seen. What a great counselor. And when I had problems he never called to check on me since I was usually there. When I said something to the office I was told it isn't the thing for a counselor to do. Oh WOW. Not worth going to them for treatment. And the office could never get scheduling... I had to wait weeks before and I was a patient. How am I getting any help??? I have tried to talk to the office... given attitude. We'll it isn't on me to provide things when they can't provide either. There's no common way to fix this I HAVE LEFT BC THEY DIDNT CARE TO COMMUNICATE OR TRY TO BOTHER WITH ME. They did charge my insurance for the hour appts tho???!!!!! Hmmmmm funny that. This has given me more problems than I need. I would never recommend this location or any of the locations for treatment. Update - received a message that I have to pay a DOUBLE CO-PAY for the provider they set me up with. Sounds like a scam to me. STAY AWAY!!! I wish I could give a zero. I called today to pay for a telehealth I have tomorrow. I was told I had a previous balance, 1/3 of which had to be collected before I could see the doctor. I've only been to the practice 1 time in the last 3 years, and have proof of payment for that visit. When I asked what this balance was for they were unable to tell me, but reiterated that I had to pay 1/3, in addition to my co-pay. I asked to speak to the manager who had just told the very kind lady on the phone to relay the message to me and she was now magically unavailable. Who is going to pay a bill that a provider cannot show any proof is owed? read more

I saw Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Cindy Cunningham. She is exceptionally skilled, up-to-date on the latest research, and accessible while maintaining professional boundaries. I've never had a worse experience than being seen here. My former therapist would constantly cancel the day of appointments. Things got so bad it became almost laughable. "Will Melissa cancel today?" It got to the point where she canceled 3 times in a row. I didn't see her until a month later. I scheduled five appointments, all canceled after the office called saying she couldn't be seen prior to 2 pm for future appointments. The next time I scheduled (after her canceling another 2 times) she had an 11am open. Another time she canceled and I wasn't notified about it. I showed up to the office and waited 30 minutes in an office for the telehealth to start before just deciding to leave. She wasn't coming and I felt humiliated. The receptionist didn't even acknowledge me on my way out. The office rescheduled without notifying me AGAIN and when the day arrived they marked me as a no show for the appointment they never told me was rescheduled. Then, 6/15/22 we finished our session and my former therapist goes "well this is actually our last session, I'm leaving mind and body. Intake should give you a call about a new therapist." I haven't heard back. Getting in touch with intake is like pulling teeth even the receptionists complain that there's never anyone in the office and you'll be met with voicemail. While being treated here I was going through the worst depressive episode, irregular visits and unprofessionalism only made it worse. I'm worried I'll be in a similar situation getting seen here for medicine but so far so good. If you can help it, don't go here for therapy. The star rating is low for a reason. Your mental health will suffer here. I originally posted this as a Google review but since then the situation got much worse. The owner, Lisa Leidy-Gantt replied very passive aggressively and ask that if I had further issue to call her directly. I tried reaching out like she requested in her response never heard back from her. On Friday, July 29th, I received a text message from my former therapist Melissa, also very passive aggressive. She then chose to shift blame me throughout her message while also saying she thought her counseling style was beneficial to my mental health and recovery. Her counseling style wasn't my issue it was the inconsistency of appointments and constant cancellation. After this correspondence I emailed mind and body through their contact form via their website as well as the owner directly asking that Melissa please not contact me again as I've found a therapist at a different location and didn't want to continue to feel bullied into silence by the staff any longer. I haven't received a response. After being fed up I filed a report with the better business bureau which Mind and Body failed to respond to. They received 7 other complaints as seen on the BBB website and have responded to none of them. Because of this they have an F rating. If you can help it, seek mental health services elsewhere. This place is unprofessional and will try their best to their clients into silence or ignore them if you still feel negatively about them. They're digging their own grave and will drag their patients down with them. read more

I am a patient at Mind and Body Consortium. Nice name. Pretty logo. Terrible service. I should have seen an "omen" on my first visit when the dr. tore into me for being late (confused me with another patient; I was actually early). And mistakenly merged my new file with someone else and had my medical history as taking a medication I had never been on. But the REAL reason I am writing is to let people know that my dr. is NOT getting back to me about an ongoing prescription he writes for me that is caught in a longterm shortage. Like maybe months!!! I have been out for almost 2 weeks now with no hope that he will rewrite it with another dosage of the same drug that IS in stock. Drs routinely adapt a patient's scrip to a different dosage and pill amount in these cases. Simple stuff. The staff take my message (and my money on each appmt.) when I call (10+ times now). To NO AVAIL!!!!! The dr. is "MIA". Do YOU want a dr. like that?? I am filing a complaint with the DE Dept. of Licensure. That's how agregious this is! Find another facility for psych.!!! read more

My husband has been going here for Med checks while on anti anxiety medication. Today the normal receptionist was not in the office and normal procedures were not followed. The waiting area was filthy and the chairs were so stained I did not want to sit on them. He has not seen his regular nurse practitioner since the first of the year. Im not sure what is going on there but I get the feeling they are not going to be in Milford much longer. Im going to be looking for a new practice. read more

I was happy with the Dr but some of the office staff is rude and aggressive. I have adult children and I had to handle things for them because they are unable to do that on their own and some of the office staff got nasty and it was a turn off. I'll never go back. This place is extremely unprofessional.My daughter tried to get an appointment. I called to help her. They told me she had an appointment at 11 am. I talk to someone in the intake. I talked to a Jessica first.Then I talk to someone else. I didn't know I had to get her name because they were going to lie about the information they gave. The second person didn't schedule the appointment like she stated. My daughter who has an anxiety was trying to talk and they called this woman Donna who was very rude and didn't realize the importance of being professional. So my daughter left crying. She was told she had an appointment and really needed to see a therapist. However , these people didn't give a damn. These people are incompetent and rude. And if they have done any damage to my kid, everyone in Delaware will know. I don't want them to hurt anyone else. read more

Amazing Place to seek treatment if you are struggling with mental health. I have severe Depression and anxiety. I received TMS Therapy Treatment for my depression and it worked wonders. I was really skeptic about it prior to starting, but after finishing treatment I can honestly say that it worked wonders for me. I know it's a new treatment but I have to say its so worth it. I sleep well now, have more energy and want to get out of bed in the mornings. I have to say the staff is amazing kind and understanding. Always so helpful with all my needs and patient when i called having mental breakdowns! read more
