It is a nine hole course that can be played back to back for 18. No major water hazards, but the woods will keep anybody, but a straight driver, searching. One of my favorite features, however is the clubhouse. Yes there is a pro shop and you can get some basic refreshments but what you MUST do after your game is sit in one of the many rocking chairs that bedeck the wrap around porch, marvel at the decades of markings in the old wooden floor from years of spikes trodding on them and enjoy the spectacular view of plum lake!

It is a very unique experience and all of the staff do a great job of making the place feel like home. I would like to give a special shout out to one of the front desk ladies named Leslie. Every time we go, she is always there and she's awesome. She is one of the main reasons the resort runs so smoothly. She knows what she's doing and she's always very helpful and on top of things. The prepackaged coffee condiments were already open and missing the creamer. There was 1 cup, 4 cup sleeves and 3 lids. There were 2 large towels and 2 hand towels. If reserving a room for 2 adults, I would expect a "resort" to ensure that the room is adequately prepared to host 2 people. The attached restaurant, Famers, serves food. I would suggest driving to the other side of town and eating at Holiday Kitchen. Famers had poor service and not the greatest food, but maybe the waitress forgot to grab it from the kitchen when it was still warm.

The fire alarms kept going off and we were told to stay in our rooms. We kept getting woke up by them. My son was told to get out of the pool. The hot tub wasn't working the 2nd day. The Cafe wasn't open the Second day to feed my son since there wasn't a microwave or mini fridge. Than was told we would get a free room and was lied to. Than was told it would be put back on my card and was lied to. Won't ever stay there again.
