Boy were we wrong in the best way. The lobster bisque dip came with 2 rolls of warm bread already buttered on the outside...soft center with the creamy dip spread over it was so scrumptious. The lamb chop was cooked to perfection and had a orzo chickpea side that can be a main dish in itself. The duck was cooked with crispy skin on, very tender and also came with a delicious rice pilaf. We also had the half chicken breast dish which was perfectly seasoned, juicy! Came with a mushroom and spinach stir fry and mashed potatoes was more like creamy scalloped potato. We were completely stuffed but wanted to try a dessert because the food was just amazing. The two sisters running the place recommended some of their to-go items - my husband had a simple noodle bowl, and I had the most delightful "cheese board" in a box, made of bamboo (along with the utensils). Several different cuts of various cheeses, also pickled veggies, grapes, olives, capers, with an assortment of high-end crackers - just lovely. We took them back to our room to eat, but you can also eat in their enclosed porch in the Victorian house. Charming!
