This place was not very expensive and it was a good, clean place to spend the night. Showers were clean and the room felt safe. They provided the basics; shampoo, soap, tissues, and more. Plus you could walk to a lot of good stuff right from the motel ie. thrift store, Himalayan Grill for Indian food, etc. I wouldn't mind staying here again.. very road trip friendly type of place for people on a budget.

For what we paid, it was a great value -- clean beds, hot shower, a bathtub so we could give the baby a bath, and fairly quiet. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. First, it's located in a pristine,…read moreupscale neighborhood of Flagstaff, surrounded by beautiful luxury homes on generous sized properties. Yet you hardly know that there are neighbors nearby. We had a sprawling amount of space to work with, with plenty of room to accommodate the 10 people in our party. The living room with vaulted ceilings is spacious and inviting. The kitchen is fully decked out with all amenities. The place was immaculate and well furnished. Every room offered something inviting for its occupants. Out the door and a short stroll away were acres of preserve to walk and to take in the natural beauty of Flagstaff. The location is close to downtown Flagstaff where there are ample opportunities for dine and drink. Lastly, our hosts could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The owners, Dave and Natalie, are highly experienced on group and adventure travel. From your first night in a hostel to 19 more nights (Alaska Salmon Run) at various levels of camping you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself in the wilds of Alaska. You will see many animals that you may never have thought to see in their own habitats behaving as they should. You will see amazing landscapes and have the chance to walk on a Glacier. The value for your money is excellent. That said there are some things you must bring to the venture. You need an open mind. This is a group experience and you will meet many different personalities - most from other countries. Some will be critical of you or difficult and some will be delightful. You need a strong will. The trip will challenge you physically while you adjust to temperature extremes and various hiking opportunities. You need to be flexible. The phrase "this is Alaska" covers all kinds of happenings around timing and resources. Dave and Natalie do their best but not every detail is under their control. You have to be willing to fully participate. Setting up and cleaning up campsites and meals are a group effort. Dave and Natalie work hard to accommodate diets. We are vegan and although some of our meals were uninspiring, we did not starve. The tents are spacious and easy to set up. There are plenty of camp chairs, dishes, and utensils. We recommend you bring a 2-3 inch (5-7.5cm) sleeping pad (REI has good ones), and a sleeping bag rated ro 30 degrees F (-1 degree C) as well as a camp pillow for comfort. A liner for your sleeping bag is a big help keeping you warm. You don't need lots of clothes - just layers. There are at least 3 places on the trip where you can do laundry. Finally remember the wilderness is not next door. There will be at least 4 long bumpy bus rides from one location to the next with a few shorter bumpy drives as well. You will often be surprised by animal sightings and amazing vistas for which Dave stops so you can take pictures. This was not a vacation, it was an adventure for us. If adventure is what you seek and you are willing to take advantage of the many opportunities that Dave and Natalie will provide, this is the travel company for you.

We needed a place to stay near Tuba City and there weren't a ton of options, then this tiny house…read morepopped up on Airbnb. We stayed in the "farmhouse' tiny house which was super adorable. Great kitchen, large bathroom and shower! We slept downstairs in the bedroom and our little one in a travel crib in the kitchen area. The Clubhouse and chickens were very fun amenities to have for travelling with kiddos. There are additional tiny homes and RV sites on the property as well. We noticed some visitors hopped of their RV right out onto a trail off the property. Definitely not any dining options closeby, we brought a cooler with food which worked out great for us. Very fun glamping experience! Highly recommend especially if you have kiddos and aren't quite ready to do a whole camping experience with them.

There's a family oriented game and art room with laundry and some workout equipment, and some frozen foods like ice cream and pizza for sale. All transactions on the honor system so sweet. Couches and more to make you feel at home. Live Chickens-- free eggs available. Owner was having a few friends over and invited us to a chili dinner but we already ate and wanted to look at the night sky instead. There was 1 outdoor light over the 300 gallon water tank and we asked could it be turned off and owner was happy to do it for us. Would stay here again and recommend it for families with kids and teens. The property is next to the highway so the road noise was present but I still slept great.
