They gave me a highly detailed, computerized price quote claiming the move would cost $852 to $1278 for my very small one bedroom apartment. The move went perfectly and there were no surprises, so I felt sure I would be charged at the lower end of the range they quoted me. But no. When the move was over, they tried to charge me $745 MORE than the lower end of the price estimate they gave me... almost DOUBLE the estimate they gave me. ($319 or 125% more than the 'worst case scenario' end of the quote.) In the end we settled on a different amount but I still feel I got duped. So don't trust the price quote! But if it weren't for the cost estimate issue - which I consider overtly dishonest, this would have been a raving, 5 star review. The two movers who moved me, Mike B. and Jared K. were just about the greatest movers anybody could ever ask for! They were incredibly careful, experienced, considerate, courteous, respectful, professional, hard-working and polite. They knew what to do in every situation and took extra care of my items. They treated me, my dog and my things so well, that by the end of the move, believe it or not, these movers felt like family to me. It's a shame that the price nonsense stole their thunder. We utilized their services of the storage pods and would absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking a similar need and not wanting to drive it yourself. We packed up our belongings in a pod on Monday and it was delivered in our driveway on Friday. Only downside (which is minor) is you need to get your things to the terminal station first; there's not an option to have the pod delivered to your address. It worked for us since we had so little to move.

Instead of taking a chance on the weather and driving a U-Haul with a car carrier cross country, I had them deliver my items and I was able to comfortably drive my own car to WI. The freight trailer got here 3 days after I arrived, I was still getting caught up and adjusted so they were wonderful working with me on the unload time I initially had to get my items out. Not only were they cheaper than U-Haul and me doing the move myself but the customer service I received from the time of set up (in CA), throughout the move and all the way till the end (in WI) was extremely exceptional!
