I am truly unhappy and very disappointed to say the least! I trusted David Hong with repairing my…read morepiano and this is the end result. I should have went with my gut feeling when he did not show me any proof of previous work on repairs that he's done. There are tons of black spray paint specs all over my keys. The repair was NOT sanded smoothly prior to paint as you can see in my photos. The top part is still a dent but painted over. This is not results of a professional. I will have to find someone else to clean up his mess! I would not recommend him to anyone and surprised at the review he has.

We paid David $150 to inspect this preowned piano prior to purchase, as I have no knowledge on piano inspections. To my dismay, he didn't even catch this. Had he told us this, we could have used this information to negotiate the price of the piano down. Knowledge is power. He also charged a $115 tuning fee, tested the piano and didn't notice that the keys felt off and that the cords were all broken. For someone with so much experience and had two opportunities to inspect this piano, David didn't even tell us about the broken cords. The technician we hired mentioned this the first time he looked at the piano. He also noticed the pitch was off. This technician also pointed out that the serial number didn't look authentic to the issue date. The piano was manufactured at an older date than what was presented. The Yamaha logo in the front is a decal. None of this was mentioned during the $150 inspection. For a piano expert, we are surprised none of this was communicated. Complete fail on attention to detail.

With the distance and the variability in quality between instruments, I wasn't sure how I could realistically try multiple pianos without driving all over Southern California. Fortunately, Kim's Piano made the process incredibly easy. They have a huge inventory of Yamaha pianos, and I worked with Steve Rivera, who was responsive, knowledgeable, and very fair throughout. He helped me narrow down several strong options over email before I made the trip to their Stanton warehouse. When I finally went in, I brought along a piano technician to evaluate the instrument I selected. He was also impressed with both the quality of the piano and the breadth of their inventory. I ended up purchasing a 1971 Yamaha U3 that plays and looks like new. I couldn't be happier with the quality, value, and overall experience. Steve was patient and helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend Kim's Piano to anyone looking for a high-quality instrument at a fair price, backed by excellent service.

The prices were completely reasonable for the top quality of the instruments they are selling. It's also been wonderful to watch my young children explore and enjoy playing music because of it being in the house. Plus, the delivery went perfectly, and the free tuning shortly after was a perfect cherry on top. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend them!

I highly recommend!…read more I was looking to move a piano i had just purchased. Moving companies had me talk to AI, and they wanted to charge about $1000. Luckily, i got fed up and searched for piano movers. Upon calling, i talked with an actual person. Very friendly conversation. I was told it would be a flat rate of $225. I was told that they would call a day before my move to confirm, and give me a window when the move would take place. Again, there was another friendly phone call with all the pertinent details. Today (the move day), i was called about 30 minutes before the move to let me know they were on the way. They were very prompt, friendly, and took great care with the instrument. Both pickup and delivery were extremely smooth, and the instrument was well taken care of through the whole process. They made what could have been a stressful day into a cakewalk, and i m most appreciative. If you need your piano moved, look no further than Affordable Piano Movers and Storage!

We've done city to city, and room to room. It's Pennywise, pound foolish to try and consolidate your valuables under one mover. We did that once and almost lost our piano. Took $325 to get it retuned. Do it right the first time and protect one of your most visible and beautiful assets! It's approx $225 depending on mileage! We had hoped the room to room would be alittle less, but we are still satisfied.
