I would not recommend her. She broke a string while tuning it and took six months to replace it. She replaced it with the wrong string. I had to pay another tuner to fix it. My entire piano was out of tune after it was tuned. I would not use this tuner. read more

4 years ago I was given an old old piano from a family friend who was moving out of state. I was told it had not been tuned in at least 20 years. The sound was not good and the piano clearly needed a lot of work. I called Jackson's Piano Service and immediately spoke with Jenny who said she could come out a few days later. She was very kind and upfront about the cost. Once they arrived and saw the piano, she immediately knew that more work would be needed and quoted me the new price. The pricing is fair and the service is incredible! The hammers had to be completely removed in order to be repaired. Jenny took these with her and returned about 10 days later. I couldn't believe how great the piano sounded and it has sounded great ever since. 10 out of 10 and I would recommend to anybody needing any type of service to their piano. read more

Zero star! Very bad experience! Quoted me $150, but charged me $400 at the end. Do not use Jenny and Jackson's Piano Service! Jenny quoted me $150 for piano tuning over texting. Jenny came to my house with a technician. Technician started to tune the piano, and Jenny sat in my dining room. She said that she carpooled with her technician because she has another job later. Please note only the technician is doing the tuning. After 15 minutes, she said, "Your piano needs a lot of work. Tuning usually takes 1 hr, but I might need 2 hrs." I said, "Oh really, I see." She chatted with me for a few minutes, asking me what are our professions and when I bought the piano. I answered and left them alone to do their work. Please note that she never once said anything about increasing the tuning price. After 2 hours, they are done and handed me an invoice for $450. I was shocked, and said, "$450 is too much, and you never said anything about increasing the price." She said, "I should have told you about increase in price. We came from far away, from Riverside and Eastvale. Your piano needed a lot of work." You know what, its not my problem because she has agreed right away to take the job knowing which city the piano is located in, and clients don't know and don't care where you travel from. She didn't even vacuum my piano. All my previous tuners vacuumed my piano. If you don't want this job from the beginning, you should have said so, then I could find another tuner. Jenny then said, "I can only give you a $50 discount." She changed the invoice to $400 at the end. I didn't want to "fight" her, so I paid her $400 cash, but I strongly disagree with her sudden increase in price. Moreover, if you meant to charge $150 per hour, then your 2 hour service should charge maximum of $300, not $400. I am posting what has happened to me to warn others. Jenny and Jackson's Piano Service are dishonest and deceitful! read more

My 1938 Monarch (Baldwin) piano had a broken spring and I called Jenny to come fix it. I knew it had other problems, but the man who'd rebuilt an upright grand for me many years ago moved out of the area and I didn't know whom to trust. Jenny won my trust and wound up making my piano like new again. She took great care in everything done to the piano and it looks like new - better than when I bought it 30+ years ago. Jenny and Wallace have been servicing my Young Chang baby grand for about a decade. I made a purchase from a storage warehouse and they restored it to a concert sound. I enjoy watching the process and have appreciated learning how to appropriately preserve this beautiful instrument. Services over the years have included replacing felt, repairing keys, shaping-filing-spacing hammers, cleaning the key coverings, and other steps with the action. I purchased a dehumidifier, which was absolutely necessary living in the Inland Empire. Wallace has since retired and my recent tuning was completed by Lou. Pricing was reasonable based on the time required at the service. One service was approximately 4 hrs. My piano is perfect. I am grateful that she reminds me about a service schedule. My boys had been showing a lot of interest in playing the piano. My parents had a Yamaha upright that they rarely used and they were nice enough to gift it to them. It hadn't been tuned in over three years, so I contacted Jenny and she was able to schedule an appointment within two days. She arrived with Wallace, the piano expert, and they inspected the piano right away. She explained all the issues the piano had and the benefits of maintaining it with regular tune ups. Wallace got to work tuning the piano which took about 1.5 hours. After he was done, they played a few tunes and the piano sounds AMAZING! Jenny even recommended a piano teacher for my boys. John Jackson is an absolute genius as a piano Restoration specialist. He was able to restore my mother's one hundred and four year old Baldwin Grand Piano so that it is better than a new piano. When John first came to evaluate the piano for restoration he quickly said that there is much potential to restore the piano and he said that the piano when made was an upper end model with heavy duty construction. He removed the keyboard and worked on replacing all the felts and reworking the hammers. He worked on the piano's "belly" for about two months. He delivered the reworked keyboard yesterday, tuned the piano, and cleaned all of the strings. The piano sound now is incredible. He is a very honest and professional genius.
