I should have went with my gut feeling when he did not show me any proof of previous work on repairs that he's done. There are tons of black spray paint specs all over my keys. The repair was NOT sanded smoothly prior to paint as you can see in my photos. The top part is still a dent but painted over. This is not results of a professional. I will have to find someone else to clean up his mess! I would not recommend him to anyone and surprised at the review he has.

Before I came in, I was mainly interested in the Roland digital piano HP704, so I called ahead to ask if they had it. I was honestly surprised when they said yes, because I worried they might just be saying that to get me to come in. But they really did have it. Not only did they have that model, but they also had several other Roland options, from more affordable models to higher-end ones. I even got to try a more expensive model that I had not known about before, and the sound and touch were much better than the one I was originally planning to get. I'm really glad I had the chance to try different models, because otherwise I might not have made the best choice. Sunny helped me with the sale, and she was very patient while I spent a long time trying out the pianos. Since I plan to play a digital piano at home with headphones, I took extra time testing the different models. I used the headphones they provided and played on my own for quite a while, and I really appreciated that she gave me the space to explore without making me feel rushed. I was also the only customer there at the time, so I may have had a bit more flexibility, but I still appreciated how comfortable and unpressured the experience felt. After the sale, Julia and Sunny also helped answer the other questions I had, and they were both very welcoming and kind. Being there made me feel so happy because I love pianos, and the atmosphere felt so cozy and welcoming.

He listened to samples of my playing, discussed with me my goal of how the piano should feel depending on my repertoire, and was able to provide the top 5 things that he can do to the piano so it can be closer to that goal, which includes restoring the mechanics to the manufacturers specification since it has been decades. After the service the piano becomes lighter and the string resonation more focused so I can bring out a lot better what the piano is capable of producing. I have complete confidence in his work and will hire him again to do further adjustment that we couldn't do in the first 2 hours.
