This theater group has been the best experience for my daughter. It is very unique to the area for…read moreseveral reasons: 1. It's a no-audition theater. What does that mean? Your child doesn't have to go through the stress of auditioning. The parts are assigned by the director after a couple of practices. Every child is guaranteed a main part for one show. 2. Although the shows run several weeks, each child only has to attend two shows; one for their lead role and one as an ensemble role, as they believe that children should have experience as a supporting role. 3. The practice schedule is extremely flexible. You only have to attend two weekday or one of the weekend rehearsals. If you can't make your assigned time, no problem! You just go to another practice that week that better fits your schedule. 4. NO FUNDRAISING! It drives me nuts when I pay for an activity and then STILL have to raise money for the organization. It's not even that expensive, compared to other activities my daughter has done. 5. They welcome any child to perform, no matter what their disability or experience. I have seen incredible performances from children who wouldn't otherwise have an opportunity to play a lead role. It warms my heart to watch the shows for this reason. 6. The summer camps are so fun and runs the entire week for the entire day. I don't feel like I have to jump through hoops at work to carve out time to play the taxi driver for a camp that only lasts a few hours during the day. I highly recommend signing up for them as soon as registration opens; they book up quickly and rarely do waiting list kids get in. They're very popular. If I could give them more than five stars I would. I tell all of my friends about this theater. The only downside is that's it's in Naperville, which is not convenient. But my daughter happily hops in the car for the commute, as she loves being there.

The material was way too advanced and the teachers just didn't care. You'd think there would be a fun 'get to know you' activity, where children introduced themselves to each other? Nope, not even a chance for the kids to introduce themselves. The people running the program don't seem to care about the kids. When our child asked to get in touch with us [to be picked up early], they wouldn't let her use a phone! We were astonished by this gross negligence. We asked to discuss, but they just wanted to get more money by adding private lessons to the summer camp experience. Our child dropped because they were having a terrible experience, so we asked for a partial refund. Their solution was to quote their "no refund" policy and offer lesson credits at a place our child hated. Unbelievable. These people - Remus and Matt and their staff - may be good musicians, but they aren't good teachers and they certainly don't know how to run a camp with a positive vibe for kids. Anyway, just my observation as someone who walked by it on the sidewalk once and definitely not the bass teacher with the essential oil diffuser (it's cedarwood oil). On a more serious (quarter) note: enrolling your kids here opens them to an extremely supportive, positive, driven community while at the same time exposes them to the highest caliber private & small group music instruction in Naperville.

My daughter used to love playing piano, now she hates it. The previous teacher was so proud of her; she even took her to a recital. My daughter played with her Beethoven when she was only four years old. People loved it and wanted her to play more. The new teacher switched her books. My daughter doesn't like the new book. When we asked the teacher to switch her back to the series that her pervious teacher was using, her response was no. When we asked why, she said that this book will be too difficult for my daughter!!!!!! She said that without even giving a chance! My daughter already knows most of the songs from that book, she was using it during her performance with the previous teacher . It makes us sad that she cuts my daughter's wings...my daughter used to love piano and now she says that she doesn't want to play because the songs are easy and boring !!!!!! It is hard to hear these words from five years old whose passion is piano music . Before the previous teacher left she asked my daughter not to quit playing because she has a huge potential. We talked to the owner and asked him about switching a teacher. He made us feel horrible... how dare we not to be happy with the service. He said that it was alarming to him that we asked about a different book. Alarming?????? We paid in advance for three months so we asked him politely if he could refund us the money, he said no. The owner made us feel like we are causing a lot of troubles by asking for a different teacher. Do yourself a favor, please chose a different school. There are plenty wonderful teachers and music schools, please avoid this one!!!!

Diane and Orla are so sweet and so knowledgeable, you can tell they are very passionate about dance. I love that the music they dance to is more classic or faith based. They also host birthday parties. We have had two parties here and both times it was really fun, easy set up and clean up, and Diane choreographed a dance and taught a tumbling lesson. Plus super affordable!!!
