We have been a part of the AIL family since May 2017. It was a tough transition for my 3 year old who was under family care from the day he was born but the teachers here were extremely patient, kind and loving in helping make his transition as smooth as possible. The Director and Assistant Director have such warm, bubbly personalities and genuinely care for the success of your child at AIL. I did not see this type of attitude elsewhere when touring for daycare. The environment is bright, colorful and clean in all the classrooms making me feel that my child is not only in good hands with the staff but in a safe place. I particularly love the open atrium with plenty of outdoor items that they can play with indoors on cold/rainy days. The curriculum focuses on learning while playing however they also have science fair nights with each classroom conducting a different experiment to showcase to family and friends. It's truly more than just a daycare here. AIL is very determined to help all children there be prepared for kindergarten and even have a built in Spanish curriculum twice a week that's included in tuition (which is pretty affordable by the way compared to other places in the area) which was a huge plus for us when comparing this center to others. I have seen significant progress since my son started with his social and academic skills. He has impressed us on so many occasions with the things he talks about and the way he carries a conversation as well as his mannerisms and it's thanks to the AIL. We are such big fans of Adventures in Learning - Aurora! I cannot say enough positive things about this school. From the overall cleanliness of the facility to the curriculum, it's all outstanding. The director, Amy P. is so warm and knowledgeable and leads with a level of excitement that is contagious. Our daughter is 14 months and has been enrolled since September 2017. The lead teacher in her room is SO passionate for early learning, which we LOVE. They are constantly doing new and exciting things. They teach Sign Language and Spanish while working on beginning English vocabulary. AIL just had a Science Fair where even the infant room took part by studying "Float or Sink?". I really appreciate the app we have on our phones that allows us to see photos throughout the day and their nap and food schedule. As a working mother who would love nothing more than to be with my daughter 24/7, this allows me to feel a bit more connected with her during the work week. She's about to transition to the next room and her current teachers have been super helpful on preparing her. If you're in the area looking for childcare, this is your place! read more

There are very few places that i have ever written and check and felt like i have gotten more than what I am paying for but this place is absolutely one of those places. We have 2 children here and not only do they absolutely love this place but they also ask to go to daycare on the weekends. Every teacher we have had in every room has been exactly what our children need at that part of their development. From the management to the teachers everyone is completely invested in your children. The head start that my oldest child has received on everything from writing her name to knowing how to spell have been made possible by above and beyond efforts of the staff here. I think the most important thing you want for your children is the ability to take them to a place that they enjoy and that the parents can feel their children are safe. This is that place. In my opinion child care is one of those things in life where it pays to put in that extra little bit of money to give them the best and this center has proven to me to every dollar we spend here is so worth it. read more

My son has attended Adventures in Learning since her was a toddler. He's now in Kindergarten and continues to receive before/after school care at AIL. The staff is so friendly and professional. I am always confident my son is in good hands. When I've had questions or concerns, I always receive quick and honest answers/feedback. They've been perceptive and pro-cautious of his peanut allergy and I know the safety and happiness of all AIL students is the #1 priority of all AIL staff. They have helped him learn so much - and through all stages of his young life: numbers, colors, shapes, help w potty training, SPANISH, creative expression, safety, relationship building, communication, the list goes on and on. (Transportation to/from school, summer camp, pre-K Kindergarten preparation) I'd happily recommend Adventures in Learning to families in the Aurora/Oswego area. One of the best decisions we ever made! We are first time parents and had heard good things and checked out a couple other options, but AIL - Aurora had a good reputation, great value, and was CLEAN! From our first tour to the time of enrollment, our experience with all the various staff was always positive and you got a sense that they truly cared. It felt like a family from day one. Our 6M old son has been going to AIL since October 2017 and is thriving! He is such a social baby, engages with people well, and our family and friends notice that too! They have worked to address specific challenges and we have seen results. We are so grateful to AIL for making a home away from home for our son while we are at work. My children have only been to Adventures in Learning for a short amount of time, and in that short amount of time both my boys have learned so much! My three year old can recognize all the letters, colors and shapes (his previous childcare center never taught him anything) He can write his first and almost his last name, and his vocabulary has flourished. My two year old was delayed in his speech (due to lack of intereaction at our last center) and within two weeks of attending Adventures in Learning he is talking and counting and I am amazed with the change. I would definitely recommend Adventures in Learning. They made the transition from our former daycare so smooth and welcomed us into the community. The teachers are amazing! My son started in the baby room and all of the teachers share so many details about his day. They individualize the care to each child and are so accommodating. I know my son is having a great day and that means a lot. The director Amy is awesome and truly cares about the school. My son is now in the Little Hoots room and Lisa and Brianna are awesome. We love Adventures in Learning! The staff is kind and caring and they treat our girls just like family. As a working parent, one of the hardest things you have to do is leave your little ones in someone else's care. But from the day we started we've always felt so at ease knowing our girls are in great hands. They have learned so much and actually look forward going to school! Our oldest is now in elementary school, but still can't wait to go every evening to pick up her sister so she can visit with her old AIL teachers. We highly recommend this daycare! read more

Adventures in Learning is an excellent childcare facility!!! My son has attended AIL since he was 15 months old, and he has had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff is polite, professional, and extremely caring; the facility is also VERY clean. I love the structure of the classes, and I'm impressed with how much my child has grown since he's been there. I stumbled upon AIL last minute after my nanny fell through, and I am so glad that I did. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and my daughter has so much fun.
