She bleached my roots only and cost $150, had some toner $60 and cut $55. I did Anticipate at least $200 for services, however it was a bit pricey for what I got. I asked for a basic cut, took about 30 mins for 2.5 inches off with layers...When finished, I loved my hair color from the light in the salon. So pleased, it looked solid! However when I came home I could still see a noticeable band from where the roots were bleached to the rest of my hair, so it definitely wasn't well blended and not worth $210 dollars in product. I was willing to pay to have that happen but unfortunately it fell short. My complaint is not the price, good service comes with a higher price.. I just wished the finished product would have been worth the price and been blended better. I get my hair done a lot and this was just a bit disappointing, knowing that the color band is very noticeable and I'm just not pleased.

I have long, thick hair and I wanted to know in advance how much it was going to set me back. He was able to get me in that day for the consult and as I waited for him to finish up a customer (I was a bit early) I noticed how clean, bright/airy, and serene his salon was. I could tell his customer was a regular (always a good sign) and I felt comfortable right away due to Graeme's calming and professional demeanor. He gave me a very reasonable pricing for my desired services and even had time to fit me in that day (I went with the quicker root touch and cut). I'm a bit staunch about not losing length even though I know I need to cut about 4inches to have a healthy head of hair and Graeme was very kind and didn't gently berate me like some past stylists which I greatly appreciated. He instead asked me questions on what outcome I wanted and gave me options on how to achieve that look. It was such a great exchange that I just ended up telling him, "You know what, you're the professional and I trust you to do what you think best for my hair, but still maintaining my length and color match." And boy was I glad I did!!! This was the first time that I was 1) relaxed the whole time and didn't stress that he would go rogue and cut too much off which I'm still traumatized from a past stylist who cut 4-5inches when I asked for 1inch trim; 2) got out of there faster than I have in any other hair appt; and 3) did not have even one speck of color on my forehead, temple, or ears. He was very easy to chat with and I felt very pampered and cared for. My hair looks amazingly healthy and is soooo soft (I need to buy my hair products there next as I'm unable to recreate the same silky softness with my high end store bought products. I would absolutely NOT recommend this stylist…read more I brought in my hair extensions to have them colored slightly darker and specifically asked to have the red tones removed. When I gave him the extensions, they were straight, smooth, and completely tangle-free. When he was finished, they were in what can only be described as a giant, matted rat's nest. He couldn't even brush them out himself and actually told me to take them home and brush them out myself. I tried repeatedly to detangle them using a significant amount of conditioner, and they were so badly matted that I could not get a brush through them. When I called him to address what happened, there was ZERO remorse or accountability. His response was essentially, "I don't know what to tell you. All I did was dye the hair and wash it." That is exactly the problem--the extensions went into his care smooth and untangled and came back severely matted and practically unusable. He then tried to claim that my extensions weren't real human hair and were "acrylic," despite the fact that he had just successfully dyed them and the hair took the color. Instead of acknowledging the condition they were returned in or attempting to make the situation right, he immediately looked for a way to blame the hair rather than take responsibility. Even worse, I VERY specifically told him that I wanted the red tones removed. Instead, he used a red-based color to darken them. So not only were the extensions returned to me in terrible condition, he didn't even follow what I asked for regarding the color. I've included a photo showing the red-colored water coming out in my sink while I was desperately trying to condition and detangle the hair. His attitude afterward was incredibly dismissive and insensitive. Looking back, I should have recognized the red flags while I was sitting in his studio because he spent a significant amount of time talking negatively about his other clients. I should have walked out then. These were VERY expensive hair extensions, and what bothers me almost as much as the condition they were returned in is his complete refusal to take any accountability whatsoever. There was no apology, no concern, and no genuine attempt to resolve the situation. If you're considering booking with him, I would also suggest reading his responses to other one-star reviews. In my opinion, the way he responds speaks for itself--rather than professionally addressing criticism, the responses come across as rude and place the blame back on the client. I have included photos so people can see the condition of the extensions for themselves. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend trusting him with your hair or expensive extensions. And considering how freely he spoke negatively about other clients in front of me, I would personally assume that clients should expect the same treatment once they leave his studio.

She didn't call that day and she didn't call the following day. It was the next day that she called to reschedule. We set up an appointment.
