We have participated in the annual Walk For Kids since 2010. I was helped tremendously in San Francisco so this is my way of giving back but in my local community. You will meet Scarlett. Scarlett is a blessing!! She connects with everyone who enters the House. Always has a welcoming smile. I know families go through difficult situations. The volunteers at the House are helpful and understanding. I am glad Bakersfield has a RMH. My family will always support the House (even if it's a little at a time).

We spoke to a palative care representive at the hospital and Hoffman Hospice was coontacted and in Hoffman contacted us at the hospital and arrangements were made and supplies and medical equipment were at the house even before we were released from the hospital. Hoffman Hospice to the lead in my wifes care and handled everything and explained and showed me what to do in the absence of the Hoffman team. Hoffman staff worked with me especially as she approached the final stages of her disease and kept her comfortable. At each stage of the progression the Hoffman staff spent more necessary time with Debbie and myself and also explained what was happening. I am very appreciative of the care they supplied with the medical help and mental preparations they helped me through.
