Let me start by saying please do not judge the moose lodge by one person and I am referring to Robert D. Myself, my personal opinion and first thought was Wow this person will not even own up to slamming the moose lodge. Be your own judge and come see for yourself. So I will just tell you Tracy is today's bartender and she making bloody Mary's like .. well eassist way to put it is Tracy's bloody Mary's even give THe Crest a run for their money. Just picture a tall Bloody Mary, not stingy on alcohol, actually mixed perfect. On top is a strip of bacon , celery, salami, 2 shrimps, 2 and a large pepper in themiddle and 2 squares of diff cheeses. Here's the topper price is $7.50 great margs also same price. lunch served everyday, can't say how other days are but Arnie who cooks on wed thurs and Fri is awesome. The greasy burger they call it because it's cooked like an old fashioned burger - the best. Grilled onions or raw and all the fixings to dress it up comes with fries. And again amazing price only $4 .00. Not a liver fan but people drive from other towns for Arnie's liver and onions. 2 big pieces of liver people swear by. Always other great choices also. Fri night is steak dinner and karioke. Tuesday night is taco Tuesday a big crowd favorite. TVs with sports, pool table shuffleboard. A patio with tv horseshoe pit and great for who smokes. Popcorn available help your self. People here are always comfortable lots of conversation .members are like having a second family. anyone to say anything negative about Glen ( who runs it all) is crazy. Kind, great nature- all good!!!!!!! Talks to all. Also I might add they have one of the most popular bingo in Bakersfield. Great prices and large payouts wed. 6pm. Come early with usual crowd 100, it fills up quick. Always something happening at the Moose!!!!!!!! Become a member. camper and RVpeople can park at any moose across the states!!! It's fun to go visit and have access to meet other moose members, exchange stories and meet other great members. Pismo moose you always run into someone. Sit at the bar with a close ocean view. Very unfriendly and uninviting. After reading some reviews, and because it is close by, I decided to take the suggestion of one of the posters that said "if you want to become a member just stop in and someone will sponsor you". That was a big mistake. My wife and I were met at the door with the most rudest woman that we have encountered in a long time. Who said that if we were not members, we cannot go in, and with a unwelcoming snare, went in and shut the door in our face. Quite a contrast to the Elks club, where entry and membership is encouraged, and everybody is friendly. read more

The Best margarita ever. They have breakfast and lunch seven days a week dinner Sunday Monday Tuesday and Friday.

We were traveling through Bakersfield in our 5th wheel trailer and decided to stop in and take a break at the Moose Lodge. There we met Glenn running the Moose lodge ,we had a warm and friendly greeting from him and the rest of the staff. To our surprise they were serving delicious tacos at a great price,and ice cold adult beverages. Stockdale Moose Lodge has a very warm, fun, and friendly environment for members. It is a members only club, and requires you to be a member in good standing or guest of a member in good standing. Food is served six nights a week. Mondays, Tuesdays for taco Tuesday, Wednesdays bingo, Thursdays spaghetti, Steak night on Fridays and Sundays for karaoke. Lunch is served Monday - Friday. My sister and brother in law invited me to Taco Tuesday, tacos are $1.50 each and stuffed to the brim with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and hamburger meat! Tacos and nothing more, but each is a meal, I was satisfied! You have to be a member, or in my case a guest, the crowd are mostly over 40 yrs, but very friendly! There is a bar, serves mixed drinks, beer and sodas, was nice change and of course company is always a plus. Thanks to my sister and brother in law! ! read more

Probably the best Moose lodge I have ever visited. They have events every night. Taco Tuesdays, a steak dinner on Fridays that's to die for and only $12. Very active lodge with awesome people. read more
