Again, she has a great color selection, even had the latest fall collection from OPI. She even put some foot oil on my toes since she saw that I had worn sneakers and socks and didn't want the fuzzies to stick to my polish. My one toe nail cracked and the last person I had do my pedicure at another salon just put more polish on it. So by the time I got to Bill, only a week later, it was pretty bad. It's a cool place - well lit, techs lined up like a bar! Very busy. Trendy. Notably, the receptionist is so sweet, with a soft, soothing voice, which is so nice for such a busy place. So, I had my nails done, and they looked great. The technician was pleasant enough. No chatting, and a little hard to understand. But She asked me if I was happy and if I would come back again and I was, and would have... ...IF my nails had stayed nice for 3 or 4 weeks! But they cracked -- within a week. Hairline cracks all over!!! I've never had that happen! Was it Applied too thick? Now they are all chipping and breaking off and look horrible at 3 weeks. I can't trim or file them - they crumble, shatter when I try to trim off the chipped/broken ends. So disappointed- wasted time and money and my nails look awful. At my usual place, the dip lasts 4-5 weeks before I have to change it, as my nails have grown out too much. Disappointed. Will not go back. I went back to my regular place and had it all removed. My nails are so short and thin, some actually HURT if I put any pressure on them! I just had my regular nail tech put strengthener on them. I will let them grow out and heal.

(Late to the manicure party - particularly the gel-kind - I've still had several dozen manicures over the years. There've been issues here and there, but nothing like the outcome from the use of this shellac sh*t.) Should I get another manicure in this area I will be specific in seeking a place that does NOT use the product. My nails were done on a Wednesday afternoon (and they were super-cute!) By Saturday afternoon I was back in getting my chipped index finger fixed. Sunday my other index finger chipped. In less than a weeks time I had chips in 4 nails (not including the index fingers). One week and one day in the polish lifted and peeled on both middle fingers. (The silver lining, I suppose: I wasn't flipping you off! I was showing you my defective manicure...) I'm guessing I COULD have gone back for the other index finger to be fixed, but not having had this as my experience (with the exception of the prior months shellac sh*t manicure) I was sensitive to calling back.
