This was my first experience getting my nails done since the pandemic started. For a while everything was closed and I got used to taking care of my nails on my own without feeling a need to go out and get them done. A friend treated me to some pampering at the Nail House and it forgot how much I missed it! John's dip manicure was carefully done and came out beautiful. I normally hate pedicures because of how ticklish I am but Julie did a fantastic job with my Gel pedicure. The staff is so well organized and professional! The establishment is very clean and well maintained- none of the typical cloud of nail salon dust and chemical air. I will most definitely return! read more

I usually go to the place next door new Westwood nails but I decided to just try nail house for the powder dip. I felt like it was done very quickly plus the guy tells me it will last for 4 weeks which it did not. Two of my nails fell off after 3 weeks. I'll be going back to the place next door new Westwood nails. It lasts much longer there! I will not be coming back here. read more

Let me start by saying, I dont know if all the poor reviews here are for "The Nail House" at 298 Kinderkamack, but here is mine. I find the workers very friendly, but also nice and quiet. So you can just relax and let them do their job. Juliana does a great job for me, and Im a big guy. Today will be the 4th time I am going for a Pedicure, and 2nd for Manicure. She is meticulous with all of the cuticle removal and gives great lengthy massage. The place may be a bit older and needs some updating, but it is very clean which is important. All the tools are fresh from bags. I see them clean the foot tubs after each client. Mani/Pedi for $25 is great, but coupled with good customer service is even better. I even received a neck massage after the services were complete. 2 Thumbs Up from me. (And I hardly ever review anything) read more

I went for a pedicure today which the young girl did a great job, although I had a gift card with worth $60.00 that they would not honor. They said it was too old although there was no date anywhere on it or any expiration date. So I am now out $60.00 and they received this money when the card was purchased. They should have honored the gift card or replaced it with a new one. Basically to me that is stealing when you don't take a gift card but take the money to purchase it. There is no proof of how old it was since there was not a date anywhere on the handwritten card from them or an expiration date! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! read more

Terrible manicure. Left nails unevenly painted, didn't spend any time on my cuticles at ALL, and slipped on the polish so that it developed bubbles. A total rush-job. I will never return to this place, even out of desperation. read more

Their pedicures are the best around - no doubt about it. What they can't get right is their manicures. I've had maybe one or two good ones in the past 5 years from this place. The only reason I keep trying their manicures is because they do give the best pedicures and sometimes I don't have the time to go somewhere else. Their manicures - well, they chip that day or the next. The color is never spread evenly on nails and they always get it on the skin around your nails. Very rarely has someone taken the time to get it off. A plus about this place is that they let you tip on a credit card which is rare for nail salons. read more

I went there on a Wednesday to take advantage of their mani/pedi for $25 special. I walked in around 6pm and asked what time they close. I was told 730, and asked what services I was looking to get. I told them I wanted a mani/pedi, and was told by the man at the desk that he could not service me. I was given no reason, and I asked AGAIN what time they closed and he said 730. I said it's only 6:06. He said, "I know, but we still can't service you". There are too many nail salons in this area to have some a trash attitude. I will never go there again. Went here yesterday instead of my normal spot cause cause the wait was too long so i figured i'd give it a shot. Got a manicure and pedicure. I was appalled by their customer service today when I called to inquire about their pedicure pricing. The first two times, the receptionist just hung up on me without even answering my question. Thinking that my call was dropped or something went wrong, I called a third time and asked my question - at which point she sternly yelled/scolded me that "You keep calling here asking the same question. Didn't you hear me? I said it was $20." Then promptly hung up on me. I've never been treated that way by a receptionist or service representative in my life and I will certainly not be coming here for nay services in the near future. read more

I came to this place because my usual place was busy.. the first time I came wasn't too bad. I came again and they really aren't friendly and rush the job. The nail techs have an attitude and I've seen them dilute the nail polish... the few times that I have been there they have diluted the nail polish that I chose .. they are too cheap to open up a new bottle . I wouldn't recommend them. I would either go to Westwood nails or aritaun.. only go here if you are desperate because your other place is busy! read more

They did a great job on my color gel nails, it took way longer than it normally does when I've gone other places (1.5 hours versus 45 min), but they look good and have held up for a couple of weeks so far. read more

I usually go to a nail salon once a week. I was unhappy at my usual place so decided to try the New nail house. It was late on a Saturday so I called to see what time they were opened to and if they had time for two manicure/pedicures. Whoever answered the phone said yes. I went there instead of my usual place which is opened an hour later than they are. When I got there I waited a bit before they took us. My daughter was half way done before they took me. I sat down for my pedicure as the person told me they would probably not get my manicure done because they are closing soon. I did not leave because my daughter was almost done. I have a big event the next day and needed to have my nails done. I finished with my pedicure and tried to run my old place to finish my nails which I could not get done. They should not tell people can do something when they can't. I could have gone to another place and have my nails done instead of painting them myself right now. They just wanted my money didn't care. They could have had a once a week client instead they have a very disappointed customer. read more
