Upon arrival, I noticed how cozy this shop felt, unlike the typical strip mall nail salons. I asked to get a full set of extensions done. Rachel, the owner, and her staff were amazing and kind, working their magic to transform my mangled fingers into exactly what I had wanted and as shown on the picture. On top of that, my fingers don't hurt as much anymore! Been going for years but lately I've been disappointed. For gel it would last a normal(not that great side) amount of time. For regular manicures don't even bother. I did my nails on a Saturday and no exaggeration... my nails chipped by Sunday. I went to an event with chipped nails. This was not the first time that has happened I just wanted to give the benefit of doubt. They jumped the shark for me. I hate when service providers get comfortable. They start to do what they want to do. I brought simple charms to add a design to my nails for a vacation. They doused the whole charm in gel. There was a dome around the charm vs just around the charm. I even pulled up a YouTube video because how don't you know how to put on a charm? Second time I tried a design. The last time I gave up and just had her paint them one color. I bought my charms this time because all it would take is glue and a little gel to seal it in. But nope. So my nails are just brown for my beach vacation. Then I tried again on my toes. She showed me the picture of what she suggested. I complied because hey you can't mess up what you suggest right? Nope. Looked nothing like her picture. By the way a fill and a pedicure costs me around $200 with tips here. For plain gel polish and a one toe design... so I think you should find a way to get one charm on my nails. Very disappointing. I liked them. read more

I usually do my own nails at home, and I do them pretty well. As a treat yesterday, had a regular manicure and the nail polish that was used was very clumpy, streaky, and came out looking horribly. I called the salon and spoke w manager, I was told it was ok to come in for a free polish change. When I arrived, the manager inspected the paint job and deemed it was "ok", you just need another top coat. Nope. I usually do my own nails and I know that the way the polish went on was difficult and it looks horrible. Despite making the trip in, being told it was ok to have it changed, she would not do it. I have been going to Aritaun For years on and off, but after this I will not give them my business again. What would be the harm in changing a regular nail polish color? My first-time experience here was fantastic. As soon as I walked into the salon I loved how cozy and clean inside was. Staffs were very kind and the service was excellent. I got a gel manicure and they had a huge selection of colors which I never saw from other salons. The lady (the owner) who did my nails definitely knew how to take care of my weak and thin nails. very disappointing. I booked an appointment because my time was tight. I was seated in the chair 17 minutes after my appointment time and 6 minutes after the manicurist came and got started. I didn't have time for callous removal since my appointment started 23 minutes late and I also could not have the nail art I had chosen. it wasn't the fault of the manicurist so I tipped her appropriately but I will never return to this place and will warn others. the man who seemed to be in charge was super rude and my gel pedicure was sub par at best. This was a rotten experience. And it was a gel pedicure and it looks awful so I'm going to have to live with it for two weeks or pay to have someone remove the gel and start all over again. Parking is easy. Walk up few stairs to a patio surrounded by the colorful bench/ chairs and planters filled with flowers. The kind owner-manager greets you as you enter, making you feel welcome. He maintains a steady, yet serene flow, through an ongoing rotation of staff members who are well mannered and well skilled to perform their duties. I came here with my sister and I got a regular polish manicure ($10) while she got a gel pedicure ($40) We made reservations earlier, which I recommend doing, as all the nail techs were busy when we were there. My nail tech Grace worked quickly and was nice and the paint job was done really well. Also used clean tools and both a top coat and a base coat. Came in yesterday for a birthday pedicure - Rose was absolutely wonderful, did an incredible job, and I was so happy with the work... I'm absolutely bringing my mom back as a treat. I upgraded from a regular pedicure to the Aloe Pedicure and did not regret it one bit. Twice the price of a regular pedicure, but so much pampering and care involved... I never splurge because I don't ever feel like there's a need and to be clear, I've not had their regular pedicure to compare... but regardless, I would do this again. At first, I liked this salon. The third time I went, I got a plantar wart on my foot. This has never happened to me and it popped up the day after I got a pedicure here. I called very upset, and they simply said "What do you expect us to do about that?". An incredibly rude response when the negligence of staff and lack of hygiene gave me something as gross as plantar warts. Since the first one popped up, multiple others have, as they are infectious. So, that's great. Just know they don't follow hygiene procedures and you may get warts. Update: just called back and owner said that I had to come in and show him my feet and "prove" that I had warts. No refund. Nothing. read more

Everything about this salon is beautiful! The outside of the salon is welcoming with a private parking lot and a nice walk up. They have plenty of seats for pedicure chairs as well as manicure seats. There's a private area for waxing in the back. Another great feature about this business is their rewards program. This salon makes the rewards so easy! They take your name and address and give you a card that you just bring back for each visit which tracks your points. Once you rack up the points you can trade them in for a free service. AND they even sent me a coupon for a free pedicure on my birthday (without using any points)! After being upsold from tips that I usually get to extensions ($85), not even a week later my nails were cracking and falling off. I had to return 4 times within a week and a half. They did repair them for free, and I did tip every time it was repaired, but I simply don't have the time to keep going back and forth. I am so happy I found this location. My mom started coming here and told me I had to come and check it out. I get a manicure every two weeks (judge all you want, a manicure makes me feel beautiful and confident - It is a treat to myself)! I went one Friday afternoon with my mom, we made appointments and I was very pleased with my experience. The facility is CLEAN and well managed. You can tell the owner/manager knows what he is doing because the process is smooth and flawless, which is hard to find sometimes at nail salons. Theres a large selection of about 50+ OPI and Esse colors and I noted another 20 to 30 or so gel color, so there's something for everyone. The staff was friendly and young, with the owner Ben overseeing and spending time conversing with customers. He said they specialize in pedicures so will see for next time! We signed up for the free membership points card and this gave my mom a free pedicure gift for her birthday! All in all both of us are very happy with how our nails came out and will return again.
