From the moment we walked in to the full hair service for my daughter, we were welcomed and felt pampered. Highly recommend Faith, Lexi, and Kenzie for any hair styling need, you will have the most patient and kind service. We have been coming to Tyler Mason Salon for years for hair styling, nails, and waxing services, and can definitely recommend. My friend and I booked the Watermelon themed summer pedicure, and we had a wonderful experience!! Both of our nail technicians were super friendly, very present, and talented! They offered to get us something to drink several times, and overall the room we were in was cozy - not cramped - and perfect for two friends to chat while being pampered. The service itself was so nice, due in large part to the products they used. Everything was on the more natural/clean side being from a company called "Farmhouse Fresh". The scrubs, oils, creams, etc. all smelled soooo good! We even had a paraffin treatment with the heated booties for extra relaxation! My toes look awesome and my feet feel extra soft. This past Tuesday was my FIRST visit, I was referred by a friend who had a GREAT experience and was looking forward to meeting Kenzie. I was late by 15min, which I was aware is the cut off and was fully expecting to need to reschedule upon arrival... Instead Kenzie greeted me at the front desk with a smile and proceeded with the appointment as if my being late was a non-issue. Kenzie was amazing, listened to my hair concerns and outcome desires... I left with amazing hair! Kenzie somehow added more layers yet my hair feels and looks thicker than when I walked in! I needed to find another salon after my stylist of 10 years moved away. Tyler Mason Salon came highly recommended on many of Indy's "Best of" websites. I found all the positive reviews to be true and it truly is a hidden gem on the Westside. I was pleased to find how easy it was to use their online booking system to find a new stylist. Appointments are available at all times of the day and evening. Stylists are ranked on experience, so expect to pay a little less for a recent grad, and more for a master level stylist. The salon is welcoming and comfortable and features Davines products which smell wonderful. I have not visited the spa side yet, but they offer a menu of many luxurious standard and seasonal services. Just FYI- the salon eliminated the longstanding "no tipping" policy about a year and a half ago, so feel free to tip for great service. read more

I love coming to this spa and taking advantage of their services. I get regular massages from Sarah and love every minute of it. They also offer facials, hair, nails, full body services. The place is clean and smells fantastic every time you walk in. They also offer a wide variety of products and I'm hooked on the Ombré oil. read more

I had an extremely relaxing massage with cupping added. My massage therapist was great. I have been getting massages for a very long time. This one was one of the most relaxing massages. The little details added like the heating pad to my back while she worked on my legs was great. She also had a heated eye mask that she put on my eyes while she worked on my neck and shoulders, which was fantastic!!!! read more

Today was my second massage and visit to Tyler Mason. The amount of welcome and warmth felt the minute you cross that threshold is the kind of greeting you want! They welcome you then after asking what you are there for they quickly whisk you to your appointment area. My appointment was for a massage! I was taken to the changing rooms and offered a robe and shoes that for me. I was able to place my things in my locker and put the key in my robe. I sat in the waiting area for just a brief moment while Amy my masseuse made sure all was perfect. Amy made me feel welcomed and instantly relaxed. She went over what I needed and any ailments I might have that would gender a great experience. I then indulged in the best massage I've had in Indiana since Ology closed. Amy read my body and responded and applied the right pressure and movements to help losses and relax me. Her talent is remarkable and she is just wonderful. No matter your needs or if you just need a little pampering Tyler Mason spa is the place to go! Also Amy is popular so schedule as soon as you can! I can't wait to see her again next month! Kinzie and Caitlyn are as good as it gets for cut and color and so much fun when we are there. I decided to get my first pedicure ever. my feet are a working man trainwreck lol. Teena took a ton of extra time and care to repair my feet. The experience was so great and my feet look amazing! Teena is great and I booked my next appointment before I left. I have been getting my hair done at Tyler Mason Salon & Spa for about a year and I love it. I have been able to find someone I really like and enjoy and have been able to become a regular! The prices I feel are extremely reasonable for a salon and spa. I get my hair dyed every time I go in and it usually comes out costing between $100-$150 depending on if I get it cut also. They are so nice here and I have also been able to get my eyebrows waxed and been very pleased with the experience. read more

Paid for a 45 min sinus massage and a 15 min chair massage. She asked if she could do my chair massage on the table instead since I would already be on it and I agreed. Somehow we did both massages in 40 minutes instead of an hour. So didn't get what I paid for. The sinus massage was good. she barely touched my neck and shoulders like I needed. read more

I took my mom here on a recommendation from a friend. Huge financial loss! There was a $15 for a phone consultation, yet she had to fill out paperwork when she arrived. (This isn't a doctors appointment) The paperwork was redundant. Her hair looks good, and the cut is nice. My mom doesn't have any hair to speak of. It's short and very thin. She got a cut and color, it was $260.00! So, with the $15.00 consultation fee and a cut and it was $275.00. We didn't pay that at Cristophe's salon in Beverly Hills, California. I'm not impressed at all, and we can get the same service at a much, much lower price anywhere else in Indiana. read more

My greatest success is my family. To be married to my best friend and business partner for over 30 years and to raise three children, Tyler, Mallorie, and Madison, the namesakes of Tyler Mason, are by far the most rewarding aspects of my life. I’m also very proud of continuing to grow a business in a beautiful environment that employs over 35 people who genuinely love what they do and each other. Serving others is my driving force; my family, friends, customers, employees, church and the community at large. My artistic side enjoys interior decorating, music and the performing arts. I’m also an avid reader and dreamer who loves to travel and snuggle dogs.

From the minute I walked in the door, the energy was high and it really felt like the staff enjoyed one another. There was good energy buzzing throughout the space. I was quickly greeted and offered and snack and drink and I was ushered back on time. The cut was thorough and down to business - cherry on top? A scalp and neck massage. I was lucky enough to be paired with Lianna who unbeknownst to me, is a curl expert and nailed my haircut. I'll definitely be booking with her for my next hair cut. It was such a joy to see my hair "alive" again. Thank you so much!

The vibes in this places are ah-mazing. Plants and unique decor fill the room, & every staff member there was so kind and welcoming. I waited a few short minutes and Meg started my session. Meg was so nice and easy to talk to. & you can tell she knows what she's doing. I felt like I had known her for years even though it was our first time meeting. After a couple relaxing hours, Meg worked MAGIC on my hair. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I am so obsessed & I feel like such a bad bitty!! I will definitely be coming back in a couple months. Overall the color, cut & blowout was $210 and worth every penny!
