I went here for a quick facial and it was amazing! So calming and high quality. They have a locker area that has a changing room and restroom as well as toiletries to fix yourself afterwards before leaving. Everyone was friendly and I felt a sense of peace. I've been on the search for about a year now for a new stylist. Every time I find one that I like and that gets me they move on and not to a convenient location. Today is the first time in a while where I left and was pleased. My hair is very thick and annoys me most times. I went in for a cut and hopefully to find a way to lighten up the weight of my hair without losing a lot of length. The person that helped me listened and did a great job. I AM IN LOVE WITH ERIN!!! She's literally the best and she gave me back my confidence in my hair and I honestly wanted to hug her but that would be weird for meeting for the first time. She's fun to yap with too, cherry on the top. I have never had a haircut THIS good before and I would return to Erin's chair without question!! My friend and I booked the Watermelon themed summer pedicure, and we had a wonderful experience!! Both of our nail technicians were super friendly, very present, and talented! They offered to get us something to drink several times, and overall the room we were in was cozy - not cramped - and perfect for two friends to chat while being pampered. The service itself was so nice, due in large part to the products they used. Everything was on the more natural/clean side being from a company called "Farmhouse Fresh". The scrubs, oils, creams, etc. all smelled soooo good! We even had a paraffin treatment with the heated booties for extra relaxation! My toes look awesome and my feet feel extra soft. I needed to find another salon after my stylist of 10 years moved away. Tyler Mason Salon came highly recommended on many of Indy's "Best of" websites. I found all the positive reviews to be true and it truly is a hidden gem on the Westside. I was pleased to find how easy it was to use their online booking system to find a new stylist. Appointments are available at all times of the day and evening. Stylists are ranked on experience, so expect to pay a little less for a recent grad, and more for a master level stylist. The salon is welcoming and comfortable and features Davines products which smell wonderful. I have not visited the spa side yet, but they offer a menu of many luxurious standard and seasonal services. Just FYI- the salon eliminated the longstanding "no tipping" policy about a year and a half ago, so feel free to tip for great service. read more

I had an extremely relaxing massage with cupping added. My massage therapist was great. I have been getting massages for a very long time. This one was one of the most relaxing massages. The little details added like the heating pad to my back while she worked on my legs was great. Today was my second massage and visit to Tyler Mason. The amount of welcome and warmth felt the minute you cross that threshold is the kind of greeting you want! They welcome you then after asking what you are there for they quickly whisk you to your appointment area. My appointment was for a massage! I was taken to the changing rooms and offered a robe and shoes that for me. I was able to place my things in my locker and put the key in my robe. I sat in the waiting area for just a brief moment while Amy my masseuse made sure all was perfect. Amy made me feel welcomed and instantly relaxed. She went over what I needed and any ailments I might have that would gender a great experience. I then indulged in the best massage I've had in Indiana since Ology closed. Amy read my body and responded and applied the right pressure and movements to help losses and relax me. Her talent is remarkable and she is just wonderful. No matter your needs or if you just need a little pampering Tyler Mason spa is the place to go! Also Amy is popular so schedule as soon as you can! I can't wait to see her again next month! I have been getting my hair done at Tyler Mason Salon & Spa for about a year and I love it. I have been able to find someone I really like and enjoy and have been able to become a regular! The prices I feel are extremely reasonable for a salon and spa. I get my hair dyed every time I go in and it usually comes out costing between $100-$150 depending on if I get it cut also. They are so nice here and I have also been able to get my eyebrows waxed and been very pleased with the experience. read more

Kinzie and Caitlyn are as good as it gets for cut and color and so much fun when we are there. I decided to get my first pedicure ever. my feet are a working man trainwreck lol. Teena took a ton of extra time and care to repair my feet. The experience was so great and my feet look amazing! Teena is great and I booked my next appointment before I left. Paid for a 45 min sinus massage and a 15 min chair massage. She asked if she could do my chair massage on the table instead since I would already be on it and I agreed. Somehow we did both massages in 40 minutes instead of an hour. So didn't get what I paid for. The sinus massage was good. she barely touched my neck and shoulders like I needed. read more

I took my mom here on a recommendation from a friend. Huge financial loss! There was a $15 for a phone consultation, yet she had to fill out paperwork when she arrived. (This isn't a doctors appointment) The paperwork was redundant. Her hair looks good, and the cut is nice. My mom doesn't have any hair to speak of. It's short and very thin. She got a cut and color, it was $260.00! So, with the $15.00 consultation fee and a cut and it was $275.00. We didn't pay that at Cristophe's salon in Beverly Hills, California. I'm not impressed at all, and we can get the same service at a much, much lower price anywhere else in Indiana. read more
