I have been going here for about a year, and although the pedicures were average at best, I kept going back because of Kim. Over the past few months, the service has gone down. First, the female doing my pedicure, somehow scraped the top of my big toe with one of her instruments, causing it to bleed and scab. That same female, on the same day, burned my face when she waxed my eyebrows. Weeks later, when I went back for a manicure, Kim wasn't there, and her husband (owner) convinced me to try another female who had just moved here from Atlanta. He told me she was just as good as Kim. Sadly, that was far from the truth. The tips of my nails were very thick, and although I showed her purple nails with pink, she painted my nails black. During my next visit, Kim fixed the thickness, and I was again happy with my nails. Because the shop doesn't take appointments, I stopped by on Tuesday this week and found out that Kim was already gone. Her husband told me that Kim worked all week from 8 AM to 2 PM. Today (Friday) I got to the shop about 8:20 AM, and was told that Kim would not be in until nine. Because there was one person ahead of me and I had a morning appointment I decided to return later in the day. When I arrived shortly after 2 PM, Kim was gone, and I was again told by her husband that she started at 8:00 AM every morning, which obviously isn't true. The only way I would return to this business is if Kim started taking appointments.

Thumb nails are different lengths, he used an almost neon pink powder, so he had to coat the end of the nails with nail color as to not show pink at the tips, and the tips are very thick and uneven acrylic. In addition, I came in and told him that I had a split nail and it was somewhat sore. He put the nail extension so close to the edge of my nail that now it feels like the nail is going to come off. I have always dealt with the owner the last two times, (Kim) and has been fantastic but this particular gentleman that wears glasses needs help with how to do nails properly. Normally, I don't like to complain, however; we were headed out of town and was not able to complain to anyone and cannot get anybody on the phone. Hopefully this will get the ownership's attention.

Both times that I have walked in, I was greeted almost immediately with great service. The woman who has done my nails both times, I cannot name her because I never received her name, has done great and spent her time. Although, theres a few reasons why I am reviewing four stars instead of five. The first time I went in, my skin above the cuticle bled and she never acknowledged it or apologized for being so harsh on it. My sister went with me and agreed that they are HARSH with your nails. The second time that I went in, the skin above my cuticle started to bleed again, this time she got some cotton (wasn't a cotton ball, but just loose cotton) and she dabbed it, claiming I had sensitive fingers and laughing while saying it. My second visit, both of my pointer finger nails were shaped incredibly odd, she definitely realized but didn't take the time to fix them. I wasn't offended by the comment of having "sensitive fingers", but I'm just curious on if I will bleed everytime I go. Just a warning, THEY ARE HARSH! I felt like my fingers were sore after leaving both times. Might want to bring a few bandages!

She told me that her acrylic nail lady was not there and did not mention that in the phone call, then proceeded to do dip powder for my nails. I specifically asked for a lighter shade of pink as my base, and she still dipped the nail and a brighter, berry pink. The filing was not good. Some nails were uneven duck shaped if you would imply an overall just not good have their child running around the whole nail place. It is very unprofessional and I do not recommend.
