They say they take walk-ins, but they "don't have anything today." So...I wouldn't say that means they take walk-ins.

Kevin has been doing my nails for a few months now. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating to my specific requests. In the past, it has taken a nail tech 2 hours to do my nails; Kevin does a great job in 45 minutes. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend Emma Nails. read more

It seems pretty clean and I was recommended to go here. I got a pedicure and the woman doing my toenails cut my nail and I said "ouch" and she said "sorry you have an ingrown toenail" which I never get on my toes. This is the first salon who has ever done this to my toenail. It bled a little at the salon and was uncomfortable. You should rarely bleed at a salon. I got them yesterday and I woke up today with a painful big toe. I'm so angry that she didn't ask me before she decided to cut an ingrown nail that wasn't even there. Everyone's nails are different and if you go here, PAY ATTENTION. My toe hurts so bad it's been less than 24 hours. I won't be going back here. Still debating whether I should report them. read more

Great nail salon. Did not have time to get nails done before leaving home. Looked at several salon reviews and called and made appointment here. Kevin did a fantastic job of SNS French. Went back a few days later for pedicure and Kevin did a great job. They were about 20 mins behind on both appointments. Several walk ins were turned away while I was there. This is definitely my nail salon when I come up to our cabin. read more

I was asked to sit at the first table caddy corner to a table where a young lady who was not wearing a mask was sitting. I asked if instead, I could sit at the table at the back and the technician became indignant. I could tell she was upset as she did not introduce herself and did not even establish any eye contact. There is a sign posted stating that masks are required. They did not take my temperature but not sure that is required in Fannin County. She started working on my nails and then went to work on someone else's'. After 5-10 minutes, I got up and left. No social distancing and no masks required. I would go somewhere else - there is a new salon open near Ingles- as the COVID numbers are increasing here in Fannin and at least for me, it is not worth the risk if I can go somewhere else. read more

I have never been treated so rudely by any nail tech in my life. I was maybe 5 minutes late. Maybe. My tech was still finishing someone else. I asked how long it would be? She never spoke to me and said something to her husband. After another 10 minutes he came out from the back and was very angry. I said there must be a misunderstanding, that I was just curious how long my wait was going to be. He proceeded to raise his voice at me saying I could just make a new appointment. I said I was not upset and wanted her to do my nails. He finally...after much rudeness....started my nails. I had the SNS taken off and then chose to leave. I will not go back. Oh...and my appointment before this one....they were THIRTY minutes behind. I was gracious and said it was no problem. I don't understand why people treat others so bad. read more

Moving is challenging enough but lining up new services adds additional stress. A nail tech from another salon recommended Emma's Nail as she's not taking new clients. After hearing such rave reviews among locals, I decided to try this relatively new salon. I went in 2 weeks ago to have my previous gel nails taken off and scheduled an appt for a mani-pedi for me and a friend the following week ( Nov 12) to treat myself for my birthday. Our initial visit was lovely , they only have 2 employees and so only had our 2 appts scheduled. It was quiet and relaxing and the staff was polite and friendly. But then this week , my friend ( who had her nails done in a beautiful cat's-eye technique in preparation for the cruise she leaves for tomorrow) went in to have 3 of her nails fixed as they had started chipping. He refused. He said she must've done something to chip them or she was lying that she only had them done last week. When she explained that she only works from home answering phones for her husband's company doing nothing that would chip 3 of her nails , and that she came in with me on the 12th for my bday and he verified that in his appt book, he said that his product just must not work for her. She suggested trying regular gel instead of cat's eye, he refused. Said huffily that he would just take off all the gel, give her her money back , and she could find somewhere else to go. He only reformed $25 and I know my gel nail manicure was $35.. needless to say we are throughly disappointed in this lack of customer service.
