Me and my wife decided to keep him at this facility just for social interaction with other kids. We were preparing him for kindergarten. Because his birthday month his August, he will have to go through assessment to be accepted into Kindergarten program. We have to prepare him by ourselves in everything from reading to arithmetics. This is not our first rodeo. When our little girl was in pre-K class at a different facility, she will come home with reading, writing, shapes, matching, coloring, drawing.., assignment, preparing them for Kindergarten. The horrible service we received from here made us appreciate Williams Christian daycare more. I would have let this bad curriculum slip, but they did the worst when they charged us extra week of service we did not receive. They claim we did not give them 2 weeks notice which I did but their email bounced 3 times before it finally delivered. I even faxed it to them when I was not sure if the email was delivered. I pay out of pocket, am not relying on government help because I can afford it, but I hate extortion. This does looks like it. They said, "their email that bounced back is my problem and my fault." I am a trained teacher and I know what an excellent teaching looks like. They probably have standardized curriculum given to them by the state, but do not know how to execute it. They even played on my intelligence a little that they were going to return my money by collecting my card information telling the money will be return in 4-5 business days. Only to call back after 2 weeks and listen to their BS. The $296 they took from my card probably enrich their pocket, but it shows that they only care about the money and deliver zero excellence.

I told my coworker that everyone is very friendly, works well with the kids, is very clean, and are easy to work with. I went with my coworker on a tour of the facility and she felt the same right away. I have such a trusting relationship with Children's First and I am comfortable with everyone I come in contact with at the facility. They give daily reports on my children, so I know how they did during the day in regards to napping, eating, and playing. This is very important and critical to the comfort I feel every day.

When ever we got a new student it would take a few weeks for the children to adjust. Most times the children would need a little extra attention extra hugs and a little extra patience on our end. I enrolled my daughter on Sept 27th keep in mind my daughter is one and never been enrolled in day care before. She is also stand offish and may not eat the food that a new person is offering. This is also normal for a new child entering daycare. Fast forward to her SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL, i receive a text at 2pm (5 hours after I've dropped her off) stating my daughter has refused all food and they would like to discuss some concerns about Kiyomi. I immediately had up to the school because ain't no way you waited until 2pm to tell me she hasn't eaten. When I come through the door i hear my daughter crying and she is being changed on Breyanna clarks lap and not a changing table. It's 2pm and the kids are in the main room still laying down for nap. I was told nap time was 12-1. There is another little baby sitting in a high chair in the hall way just staring blankly no one paying him any mind. When i dropped her off at 9pm this same baby was in the high chair. Now Mrs. Clark is telling me how she runs a strict structure and how she can't let one child throw off the structure of her class (referring to Kiyomi). How she doesn't respond to her name, not even YOMI ( thats is not her nickname her nickname is YoYo she could've found this out in her profile), how she is refusing to eat, and she scared and begins to cry when ever she hears a loud noise when ever some toys drop or something. She proceeds to also tell me that she can't pick her up all day and baby her because she don't want the other kids to feel like she is getting favortism. She tells me that if she comes back tomorrow and is not basically doing what she want her to do in 3 DAYS OF EVER BEING IN DAYCARE THAT SHE WOULD HAVE TO TERMINATE CONTRACT. I WITHDREW HER THAT DAY. The tone of the conversation was off there was no plan of action set into place just a whole lot of I can'ts and insinuation that there was something wrong with my child. In all my years of education I would've never set a parent down in that manner let alone not alerted her of her child not eating sooner so said parent would have an opportunity to come to the school and help or try to give the child something to eat. Furthermore, when it comes to the food she is feeding these babies she does not prepare meals daily she gave my daughter some damn bananas and lil bite muffins for breakfast and a damn fruit cup for lunch I prepare my daughter 3 fresh meals daily with snacks in between she not go eat all that processed shit to begin with and where is the PROTEIN no meat no nothing! This lady looked me In the face and told me she can't jeopardize the structure of her class and if Yo doesn't acclimate by tomorrow we will have to terminate contract. Told her ass you can terminate the shit today because obviously you don't give a fuck about nothing but a check.you haven't even had for two days and this lady insinuating my child is on the spectrum because she's crying and refusing the processed ass food she's providing. I was already on the fence about putting her in someone else care because i know the way i take care of my child could never compare to some HALF ASS GLORIFIED BABYSITTER!
