This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval I asked to speak to her manager. 12 minutes later and I get transferred to Soroya

Their solution, give me some pill that's used to aid in opioid withdrawals. I dont use opioids. They test me every time and every time, I'm clean. I expressed my concerns with the meds and informed them I'm not some addict and it did nothing for me. Solutions 2. Give me hydrocodone, a muscle relaxer and something else. Again, it does nothing. I call to get them changed. They tell me I have to surrender my current meds to get something different. So I bring them in and they didn't take them and said they can't do anything because they weren't the original doctor. Solution 3. Give me 3 "new" meds that are literally the same as the other 3. Then they say "after we test these procedures (nerve block) we can see about changing your meds. Do the treatments and nothing worked. Solutions 4, give me the same meds again. This time doc says stop the 5mg (3x a day) and I'll issue you 7.5 (2x a day). So I'm literally taking the same. Well I get my new meds in the mail and behold, it's 5mg. I call the pharmacy and they said they don't carry 7.5 so they sent me 5 mg instead. No one told me they didn't have the meds. Not the pharmacy or the Dr. so I call them up again today to request a change. They answered and said we can talk during my next appointment. So again in pain with no solution. I am sick of this place treating me like some junkie off the street. They don't listen, I tell them my medical history, again, they call me a pill junkie and don't do a damn thing. I have called multiple times and never get an answer. Dr. Carlos its trash. Months I've given him to work with me and I've done everything I'm supposed to. He's just there to collect a check. And couldn't give two craps less if you're in pain. Go at your own risk but do not ask for Carlos.

He recommended an epidural injection, which turned out to be the most painful experience I have ever had--and it did absolutely nothing to relieve my pain. When I tried to follow up in December, I couldn't see Dr. Jaggi again and was told I had to meet with his assistant, Ana Cole. She had no real answers to my questions and said she would speak with the doctor and get back to me. A full year later--after countless calls and messages--I still haven't received a single response. The only thing she offered at the time was short-term pain medication, which I declined because I wanted real answers and lasting relief, not drugs. It is impossible to speak with the doctor or get any meaningful guidance from this office. Now, I have received a nearly $500 bill, and when I called again asking for answers, I was told I would need to make another appointment, pay again, and start over. This is completely unacceptable. After thousands of dollars billed to my insurance, I have received no help, no communication, and no accountability. This office does not care about patients--it cares about billing and pushing medication. The doctor is unreachable, the staff is unresponsive, and the level of care is disgraceful. By the end of my first appointment, he already had a strong suspicion and sent me for specialized imaging -- which confirmed the issue within two weeks. He is extremely intelligent, very direct, and completely honest. He explains things thoroughly and, more importantly, makes you feel like you're part of the decision-making process instead of just being told what to do. If you're looking for a very soft, "aww poor baby" bedside manner, he may not be the right fit. But if you want someone who knows what they're doing, gets to the point, and actually delivers results, he's outstanding. He not only diagnosed the issue, but also fought with my insurance to get the surgery approved and got everything from diagnosis to surgery completed within 6 months -- which, in my experience, is incredible.
