They do have a fairly large packet of paperwork to fill out, but they can send it to you ahead of time if you want to complete it using a PDF editor. I would definitely recommend filling it out before you arrive or giving yourself about 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment so you are not rushed. Nice modern furniture in the waiting room and patient rooms. They called me back pretty quickly once I checked in. I saw Dr. Tanner and he explained everything clearly and took the time to walk through what was going on and what the next steps would be. She had no real answers to my questions and said she would speak with the doctor and get back to me. A full year later--after countless calls and messages--I still haven't received a single response. The only thing she offered at the time was short-term pain medication, which I declined because I wanted real answers and lasting relief, not drugs. It is impossible to speak with the doctor or get any meaningful guidance from this office. Now, I have received a nearly $500 bill, and when I called again asking for answers, I was told I would need to make another appointment, pay again, and start over. This is completely unacceptable. After thousands of dollars billed to my insurance, I have received no help, no communication, and no accountability. This office does not care about patients--it cares about billing and pushing medication. The doctor is unreachable, the staff is unresponsive, and the level of care is disgraceful. I DO NOT trust this practice and strongly advise others to STAY FAR AWAY.

She entered the room and didn't even introduce herself so I didn't even know her name for this review until I got my patient paperwork. My primary doctor referred me to Orthopedic & Spine Institute concerned that I have spinal arteritis. I told this to Greenhalgh and she just scoffed and said that I was too young to have such a problem. I'm 41 with quite a few deteriorating illnesses since childhood there is nothing "too young" but my body or condition. She didn't ask about the background of my medical condition or family history. When I told her about the neuropathy in both of my legs she looked at me shocked and said "you had diabetes??" opening my patient file would have shown her that fact, my generational diabetes is the first thing listed in my patient folder. She tried to A1C shame me when I told her my A1C is 7.6 then back tracked when I told her my A1C was 14.8 and I've been working hard to revert my A1C. She told me my problem would go away if I loss weight and exercise. -Again- because she didn't ask me anything about anything she would have known that I work out everyday already and go to Physical Therapy for my frozen shoulder and am already at my target weight goal. I'm already the smallest and most fit me of my life and the back problem came after. She never examined me physically she only looked at the x-rays and she said that it showed that my spine bones are deteriorating but apparently the solution for bone loss is to stop being fat She told me I was too young for back problems at least 4 times and that I just need to lose weight at least 3 times. Complete waste of time and money. I went to see my primary today and told them everything and they're referring me to a pain management specialist and a different orthopedic place. It's too bad because I already go to UMC Orthopedic & Spine Institute to see Dr Iman for my frozen shoulder and he's great. I was really excited to finally be seen about my back problems and just throughly disappointed in Angela Greenhalgh lack of skill and treatment. It just goes to show that one bad apple can ruin a whole tree because I never want to go back to this establishment.

Why are all the employees at Innovative Pain Care Centers incompetent? They are incapable of…read morescheduling an appointment with the correct person. I knew this was going to happen after I spoke to their incredibly rude manager two weeks ago. Fast forward 2 weeks, my appointment was made with the PA instead of the doctor. I have not been given a shot nor has the manager called me to discuss why my appointment was made with the wrong person. This is the only location that schedules three separate appointments for a trigger point injection. PA will see you without coming in for the initial appointment before the tpi. Dr Wu won't do that. I've been lied to as to why the first appointment is required. at first, they claimed they needed to check to make sure that my tpis are covered by insurance. This was a lie! After I called them out on this, they started seeing me without that first appointment. Last Thursday after they screwed up my appointment, I emailed their manager and I still have not received a response back. I get that they don't care about their patients, but now I have to wait even longer for my new doctors to get my MRI results and to schedule a TPI.
