It's not up to the providers. You get a professional chef, Jen! She makes so many special goodies, and her presentation makes you feel like you're in a 5-star hotel. Carolina, with the help of all these other beautiful souls, saved my life. My counseling sessions made me love me, and now I know how to deal w things in my life instead of laughing everything off and thinking it's no big deal. Like the river,karaoke, farmers mrkt, and or just Walmart. The home itself is beautiful they only have 10ppl at a time, so you get the care you deserve, unlike a lot of other places. The staff was kind, caring, and extremely helpful. I was provided with a great amount of education on trauma and how it impacts substance use, the parts of the brain that are impacted by trauma and substance use, anger, depression, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and how to communicate assertively. What really makes this place great is that there are no more than 10 clients, and it is more personalized with more one-on-one counseling and in-depth process groups. Lastly, the food is amazing. Both chefs put a lot of love and effort in preparing healthy meals and snacks. This has been the most effective treatment program that I have been through, and I highly recommend it to others.
