I walked outside of my house this afternoon and walked around to the front when I noticed water starting to pool up under the water faucet. I checked the Fossett, then stuck my hand down on the ground and found that the water pipe and busted against the foundation and water was flowing freely out into the yard underground. I grabbed my phone and went to my maps and typed in plumber and Neighborhood Plumber came up first and closest to my house so I called them. and to my surprise it 2:30 in the afternoon they answered the phone. I spoke with the girl about my problem she noted it was an emergency or the water would run All night busted, but she got my information and said she would let me know as soon as they could find someone to help. I needed to run an errand so I got in my car and was about to run to the store when I noticed a truck pulled up. Mind you this is five minutes after I made a phone call. It was The Neighborhood plumber.! I didn't even make it out of my driveway or get a phone call, but Blake was nearby. Saw the order come in and immediately drove to my address. I backed up and went back down. The driveway showed him what was going on and we got to work looking for the water line coming into the yard being that this is a new house for me. I did not know where it was and it was buried under brush upfront. We got the water turned off and he got to work. Long story short. Blake got to work had to run and get some parts come back and he worked his butt off inside the house and outside the house replacing the waterline going through the foundation of the house and stayed until around 9 o'clock. I would say? Nonstop work, courteous, professional, and a company, vehicle company shirt just what I want to see as well as all there certifications stamped onto their truck. This was not a cheap fix. I knew it when I saw it he prepared me gave me the estimate and it came out to be the same but from what I thought was going to be a long night of no water no toilet, no bath no cooking... he was packed up and gone by 9:30 tired but I was very appreciative! I love it when I pick a vendor out of the blue, and they turned out to be the best of the best. I have not had this kind of service that I can remember and I want to thank them and thank Blake for his efforts to make sure I was up and running Tonight and not waiting a day or two for a fix. I noticed a water leak on my front lawn Sunday morning. I called the irrigation company I usually use, and they could not come until Tuesday afternoon. Because turning the irrigation valve off did not stop the leak, they suggested I call a plumber. I called three plumbing companies and only The Neighborhood plumber called me back. While waiting, I had to turn the water off at the street, so I had no water all day. One of their technicians, Nate Bryant, arrived at 6:00 pm Sunday evening. Initially he said that the problem appeared to be caused by the irrigation system, and I would need to call an irrigation company. When I told him I could not get anyone to fix the problem until Tuesday afternoon, he graciously agreed to go to Home Depot to get the parts he needed and by 8:30, the leak was repaired. Nate did a wonderful job and was so kind. I would recommend The Neighborhood Plumber to anyone. read more

Was told someone would be out between 11-1pm for an estimate and that id get a notification when someone was on the way. At 12:45 I was getting worried and called to find out they would be at my house at 1:30 and the person I spoke to seemed surprised that I hadn't been told an ETA. Around 1:40 2 men showed up and my husband went out to tell them we needed some pipes replaced under the house due to leaking and that our bathtub is stopped up. One guy literally poked his head under the corner of the house - he did not go under the house to look around. Neither man felt the need to come inside to look at the pipes inside, they just asked my husband how many fixtures we had for their "estimate." Before getting the estimate together, the guy made the comment "you know this ain't going to be cheap right?" That was a rude comment that made my husband uncomfortable like it was being hinted at that he couldn't afford it. The icing on the cake... our estimate was $15,000.00. We have decided that we will go with another company that was punctual, polite, actually put their eyes on the problem for our estimate and gave us an estimate for a third of the cost of The Neighborhood Plumber. (This is another reputable company with 5 stars themselves - not a "cheap" option) I saw so many great reviews and kind words. Neighborhood Plumber is only reliable to a point. We changed out our vanity and double sinks, and had Neighborhood Plumber do the plumbing and install of the new sinks. One of the new sinks did not get installed properly and caused a leak under the sink, causing enough damage to the new vanities that they had to ultimately be replaced. Neighborhood Plumber hired a terrible mitigation contractor to handle the problem. After attempting to repair the vanity using two subcontractors, is when they decided to replace all together. After over 5 1/2 months of back and forth with the mitigation contractor, to complete the work, we are now being told that the damaged Sheetrock, baseboard replacement and the damage to the walls will not be completed, as they have done enough work, on this project, per Patrick with Neighborhood Plumber. We are left with repairing the damage and completing the job, that Neighborhood Plumbers sub-contractor created, thus leaving us with a job that is only 95% complete. read more

I had an appointment today for a technician to come out and diagnose an issue with my kitchen garbage disposal and provide an estimate/quote for the issue. Since The Neighborhood Plumber team has serviced all of my home plumbing needs, the technician was aware of the previous work history and that they last serviced a bathroom tub leak while onsite. Mentioning that the leak made a reappearance, the technician jumped to action, said he would take a look, and just like that, got it taken care of! I felt like Ben pretty much dropped everything to replace my water heater. I got a call from a tenant last night that my water was broken and found Ben in a Facebook group. Horrible! No other way to describe their work. They had to return 3 times on a simple bathroom remodel and STILL didn't get the job done. Hard to believe they could install a new bathtub/shower combo and leave without checking the water. Water came out of BOTH places at the same time. Additionally rather than fit the faucet on correctly, sealed to the tile by a pressure ring, they decided caulking was the way to go. To do it "right" the plumber said was going to cost another "$600-$800. Frustrated with their poor work, I called in another vendor and they fixed it correctly in 15 minutes for $50, no issues.
