I was referred here and really liked Dr. Olson, but he gave me some very bad advice. Took in recent blood tests and a test that showed a rare toxic fungal infection that was taking over my central nervous system. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and Epstein Barr (which 95% of us have in our system). Saw the test results of this toxic fungal infection and told me not to take the anti fungals I'd been prescribed, so the condition got worse and worse.....second visit I asked him why I was peeing so much, he had no idea. I had an Internist friend look into the many tinctures I was sold and she said there were diuretics in 3 or 4 of them, not what someone who is thin and losing weight from illness needs! I spent waaaaaaay too much money here and they just expect you to pay for whatever is in the bag they hand you without going over it. Saw a specialist for an ongoing issue; that just looked at me and gave a diagnosis- thanks so much and cost me $100.. had enough; i contacted The Nevada Clinic. First consult went for about 4 hours and every minute was needed to get into nitty gritty of issues. I was given my potions to take. A week later i went back feeling SOOOOO much better and i had a vitamin C IV drip. I know i need to go back and i will to have another drip of b vitamins too. Absolutely horrible experience. Made an appointment over a month in advance for 8:30 am, as I was told this was first appointment of the day. Turned in my paperwork, sat in waiting room, and was taken back to an exam room at 8:30. Height, weight, and vitals were taken. Was told doctor would be in to see me in a few minutes. Fast forward an hour and forty five minutes later, still no doctor. No one came into room to acknowledge the wait or let me know if there was even any reason for the unreasonable delay. I would completely understand if some kind of emergency had come up, but someone on staff should come let me know that there would be a delay, and give me the option to either wait or reschedule. To expect someone to wait for an hour and forty five minutes for no apparent reason is unprofessional, and shows a level of arrogance that seems common with most medical "professionals". People who have a hard time being prompt and on time typically have a hard time with attention to details. This is not what I want in a Dr. When I finally left, I walked out to the front desk and told them I was leaving. Receptionist said that the doctor had scheduled another appointment ahead of me. Based on the fact that I was supposed to have first appointment of the morning, and I watched the other patient get called back about 3 minutes ahead of me, it was more like the patient was scheduled instead of me than ahead of me. What really surprised me was that the receptionist asked me if I wanted to reschedule another appointment. I was there before my appointment time, was on time, and waited for much longer than was a reasonable wait. Why would I reschedule to have my time wasted once again?? read more

The treatment/protocols at The Nevada Clinic and Dr. Royal are remarkable. I have a couple family members who have been and/or are current patients of Dr. Royal. The results have been phenomenal! 180° turnaround in eczema that looked like leprosy it was so bad. We started going to The Nevada Clinic after I left the hospital in Oregon in 2003. After the hospital finally determined my illness, they could never tell me what caused it or in what sequence. After testing by Dr Royal, I now knew in 15 minutes what caused my issue and in what order. Dr Royal was able to take me off clotting medicines and testing the hospital told me I would need to do for a lifetime. Its been 15 years now that we have known about and used this clinic. Now that we are living full time in Oregon, we still say if anything serious happens to us, we go to the clinic!! My wife had taken ill after a serious back injury. The hospitals urgent care gave us a "jumping off point" for what it may be, but when she took a turn for the worst, I piled us both onto a red eye and headed straight for the Nevada Clinic. We saw Dr Olsen and his staff for two days in July 2018. Bill worked on her allergies, blood work and urinalysis gave them more clues and extensive interviewing by Dr Olsen and she is now home and recovering, gaining strength every day. I've been a patient of the Nevada Clinic for about 7 years! I gave up on the general practitioner since all he ever wanted to do was write a prescription. This place was a last resort for my son, who was 2 when we first seen Dr. Olson. Before meeting with Dr Olson my son had gone through multiple hospital stays with pancreatitis and low blood cell counts all lasting at least the span of week, multiple blood tests that were sent all over the US, bone marrow biopsy, put under anesthesia 6 times, multiple surgeries (he's even had his gallbladder removed) and that all started a little after he turned 1. We live in Denver, Colorado were the medical field is outstanding and his Gastroenterologist and hematologist had literally done everything they could but we were getting nowhere. Running out of hope, we heard of Dr. Olson and went for it. BEST DECISION OF OUR LIFE! When you go to a mainstream doctor, they weed through your complaints to determine what your disease is. Once they figure out that disease, they treat it based on the education they've received showing them that medication X will treat patient with disease X. To be fair, this works a lot of the time on a majority of the population. I believe a place like Nevada Clinic is for those who don't fit within the genres of easily-defined disease. Instead of being treated as a type, they treat you as a person. I wondered why for many years I never made any progress with mainstream doctors. The problem was they never took the time to hear my history and to try to make sense of it then and there. Nevada Clinic does this. They connect the dots. They listen and find ways to think outside of the box.
