Decided to seek services for tattoo removal and opted with New Canvas based on reviews. I was promptly greeted by Steve who explained the process prior to performing the 1st session. Thoroughly impressed! After having spent $200 on four treatments at another tattoo removal place in COS 18 months ago, I had pretty much given up. I decided to give it another go when I saw this place listed on Google. I went in today for a consultation and was totally informed of how the process works. Steve was very through in his explanation even showing me what to look for during and immediately after the process. He even did a demo on one of his tattoos! Oh, and he said he had ~14 years of experience in this. He even teaches at the school in Denver where people learn how to remove tattoos. He knows the science behind how it works and explains it very well. When he did a sample spot treatment on my tattoo, that spot showed more movement than I had seen in the previous four treatments at the other local tattoo removal shop. I asked to go ahead and do a full treatment. They are very flexible with pricing and have options to purchase packages. He said that if you don't end up using the full package, they'll refund you the unused portion. The studio is nicely decorated and very clean. Steve and Betina were both very friendly, and I have no doubt that they're honest and ethical with the services offered. Assuming I see progress in the next six weeks, I will absolutely come back here to finish this removal. read more

Steve seems to be very educated in what he does and wanted what was best for not, not just getting $. That showed me I could trust him and his opinion. My eyebrows have been thinning since I've been getting older, and I was nervous about doing any temporary tattooing out of fear it would look overwhelming and too fake. But I finally did it and love the results. They did a great job making my eyebrows look natural. I've been going to The New Canvas sporadically for a little over a year to remove a a horrendously done tattoo. I looked into several places in the local area and even as far as Denver to have it removed before my wedding, and the technology TNC won me over. When I followed up with questions and concerns, they answered them as well as they could blindly, but encouraged me to come in for a free consultation so that they could assess everything before promising results. The locations is quiet, incredibly clean, and very pleasant. I was greeted very warmly and they took the time to thoroughly examine the tattoo and the concerns that I had. There was no pressure to buy a package or treatment. I opted to start treatment that day and continued for a few more, but got caught up in wedding planning and never completed the treatment. I did, however, go back a few weeks ago, and they remembered me and my treatment plan right off the bat. The facility is STILL immaculate and professional. I will not trust anyone else to remove this hideous tattoo, as the technology is state-of-the-art and the owners are incredibly well-versed on it. Unlike a lot of facilities, they are trained on the machine that they use, which is specifically for tattoo removal and does not double as hair remover. Aside from everything else that has been previously mentioned, and perhaps most important to some, the actual process is minimal discomfort at most. They use a machine to cool the entire area before treatment, and treatment itself feels like a series of small rubber bands snapping at the area. Of course, some areas are more sensitive than others, but for me, it was nothing. They also take care to cover the area with a numbing gel and antiseptic, and go over aftercare instructions with you. They also encourage you to call or e-mail with any questions or concerns, and are great about getting back to you. I cannot recommend them more highly. read more

Betina and Steve were so friendly. The facility is clean and relaxing. Betina did a Lash Enhancement on my top lids. I was a bit concerned about the pain because Lash Enhancement is a tattoo. Betina used this wonderful cream that all I felt during the procedure was vibration and a scratch on the outer part of the lids. I was so happy with how this all went that I walked out making an appointment for my eyebrows and we will determine at that time if I want to do more. Moved here recently and needed to find a 'pamper day' place. I loved it here. I did the microneedling and it's the day after the procedure, so far it's feels great! I always thought getting a tattoo removed would take a long time, and hurt worse than getting the tattoo done in the first place. I could not have been more wrong, its less painful and quick. It It took me longer to fill out the paperwork than the actual time it took to do the procedure. The office is very esthetically pleasing and clean. I went to The New Canvas for the first time today and used a Groupon deal for my first tattoo removal treatment. The owners did not create any unrealistic expectations about the whole process, which I really appreciate - they basically said everyone's skin is different and their guess is that my particular tattoo will take anywhere from 6-12 treatments, but we won't know exactly how many treatments it will take until we complete the process. This is an honest assessment and those are the most valuable. Their office was very clean and well decorated, which was a nice touch. Although they partially numbed the area with very cold air (and possibly a numbing agent?) before starting, the treatment did hurt a bit, but they gave me a stress ball to squeeze to distract myself and it was over very quickly, so it wasn't unbearable by any means. I highly recommend talking to them if you're unsure about getting a tattoo removed, and highly recommend them for the service if you decide to go for it. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional, unorganized and disgusting establishment I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I went in to have my inch long and previously treated tattoo removed. I was told that it would only take 1-2 treatments, so the best option for me financially would be to pay for each session and not opt for the discounted package deal. 6 treatments and close to $400 (not including tip) later, when I am eligible for "free" touch ups, the owner calls me to reschedule my next appointment because THEY had a scheduling conflict. There was confusion over dates, which resulted in name calling from the owner. When I called to confront him on his inappropriate behavior and unprofessionalism and to explain my confusion (because their automated appointment system is sub-par), I was then screamed at and verbally abused and told to take my business elsewhere. No apologies or explanations have been given since. They have absolutely no concept of customer service or good business practices and the owner is a loose cannon and the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more
