Like most consignment stores, Simple Finds is overwhelming with the amount of inventory they have. It is stacked from entry to exit, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling! They have all the varieties of items you would expect at a consignment store from jewelry, art, furniture, tchotchkes, statues, records, lighting and much more. We like to wander around consignment shops and this area of Chamblee Dunwoody, they are plentiful. So, when we make our trip over this way Simple Finds is always on the list to swing by. We are usually after unique furniture items, and on their good days, Simple Finds has a decent selection from small tables to large cabinets, etc...Outside of the furniture, there is not a lot of items that are eye catching for us here. Service is hit and miss here, never terrible, but also not what I would describe as "friendly" either. Additionally, pricing here is a bit inflated. I get the whole "one persons trash is another persons treasure", but come on... Overall, Simple Finds is a random weekend stop for us on occasion. I will say that visiting here is like visiting a massive neighborhood yard sale, so you get lucky from time to time, but for the most part...it is just a place to browse for us.

I was shopping for a client with midcentury taste who likes pieces with a story behind them, and this was the perfect stop. It's a great mix of time periods and style. I received help from various people working here, and all were kind and generous with their time, even as they let me circle the store for an hour figuring out which pieces I wanted to get. The process of getting items on approval was incredibly easy. I'll be back for future clients.

Interiors Market has undergone (and from the looks of it will continue to undergo) SO many renovations and refurbishing over the last year. Milton, the new owner, and his partner Greg are the friendliest people one could hope to encounter when shopping in such a large warehouse-style shop. But PLEASE don't let the size of Interiors Market intimidate you. Like I said, Greg and Milton are wonderful, polite, and well informed about their craft. Any question I had was met with an enthusiastic response. The store has an incredible and eclectic selection of lighting, home decor, art, and furniture... and it all ranges from antique, to mid-century, right up to today's contemporary trends. Browsing through the shop may take you a whole afternoon, but frequent stops to chat (and laugh and enjoy free cheesecake samples!!!) with Mrs. Hornsby of Hornsby Cakes will not only keep you entertained, but will make you feel more than welcome into the #InteriorsMarketFamily. The staff is energetic and so easy to work with. It started out with a small $25 purchase, and the extreme positive attitude overwhelmed me. Certainly when I spent hundreds of $ later, they were again as helpful as anyone could be. They held my purchases, and carefully wrapped them up for me to pick up with my own truck. The quality and forward thinking of their merchandise should be sought after for a contemporary and comfortable marketplace.

Man this place is cool- but wildly expensive…read more I have been in the antiques game for a while now and am very familiar with pricing, piece history, time periods, etc. If you are new to buying antiques and looking for a few interesting pieces, this shop is not for you unless you are willing to invest some serious cash. Or of course, unless you just just want to browse (which honestly I highly encourage! The place is like a really beautiful museum). From my own personal experience, I will tell you that you can find many of these items or items very similar at auctions, estate sales, large wholesale flea markets, and so on-- but obviously that requires time, effort, resources, and a keen eye for antiques. While most of the items in the shop would still innately be on the expensive side regardless of where you purchase (because of what they are and where they're from), the extra markup that you are paying for here is for all the work to be done for you. All (and I do mean ALL) of the hard stuff has been taken care of like finding the actual piece, cleaning/refurbishing as necessary, and staging vignettes for inspiration and decorating. This comes at a premium and the markup could be worth it if you have the money or are just willing to pay for their efforts. But for me, the thrill of antiques is in the hunt! and the negotiation; gotta love a deal. Plus, I enjoy refinishing or cleaning an item myself- which can increase its value dramatically and making my investment that much sweeter. I did love that majority of what I saw when we went were super interesting European antiques and architectural salvage- which are kind of my weakness. Also, the stars of the shop are without a doubt the oversized and incredibly unique books around the show room. All are in exquisite condition which is amazing considering many are from as far back as like the 1600s. Some were bound in velvet with metal trim, some were in a material similar to leather, there were one of a kind volume sets- I have never seen anything like them before! (insert heart-eye emoji). The books were between $300ish upwards to the thousands and are the only things I actually considered purchasing. All in all, the place is spectacular and lovely to browse- but that's pretty much as far as my interest goes with regard to shopping here.

Buyer beware! I hesitated to post a critical review because Harold was so darn nice, but I feel…read morelike we got taken for a ride and potential customers deserve a warning. We found a lovely dining set, although the top of the table had some wear. Harold said the guy he works with could refinish it to get rid of some of the imperfections and estimated that would cost an additional $300. We paid for the set (non-refundable) and agreed to pay for the refinishing when the work was complete. When I called to check in, Harold told me that the refinishing would cost not $300 but $700 because they had - without asking - taken it upon themselves to refinish the chairs as well. Then, when we went the store to pay he charged us $800 citing the cost of refinishing products, more than double what he estimated. Maybe that's not an unreasonable cost for a full dining set (I honestly don't know) but I felt misled, and at a minimum they should have consulted us before doing the chairs. The refinished table also looks VERY different than it did when we purchased, and not in a good way. The wood is stained so dark that the natural beauty is gone, and the finish is dull. I am so disappointed and will never purchase there again - which is a bummer because they have some nice furniture.

But when it's pieces that you know you will be using every day and you want something different, you're sort of have to go and check out a furniture shop. This place should definitely be on your list of places to check out. Why? Because of the selection, but also the sales/owners of the place are absolutely amazing. Nancy helped us when we came here the first time to find a dining room table and we loved her suggestions and expertise and she took the time out to go through and narrow our choices. We are very indecisive people and she loved showing us pieces. The second time around we looked for a dresser and Gary helped us out. We saw him the first time, however he was helping with another customer. Gary was awesome as well! We designed our own dresser and he helped us through all the options. When both of them were free, the tag team and environment of buying furnishing was great. I mean, they are salespeople and so, with their personality and wanting to go above and beyond were great. I don't know how else to describe my experience, but if you're in the market I would highly suggest you to come here and check out their selection or even just ask Gary or Nancy what you are thinking (or if you have a budget) and they'll find exactly what you're looking for.
