It's really nice that when you buy a box of chocolates there, they will wrap it at no additional charge or you could buy pre-wrapped ones with their pre-selected candies however I prefer to pick out my own candies now because I know what I like and I don't like. I really don't even buy chocolate candy at the stores anymore. I just go there and buy it. Their chocolate covered pretzels are really good. I don't like milk chocolate so I like to buy the dark chocolate and the chocolatier that they get their chocolate from is a good one. There are tinfoil wrapped candies, while they don't make them there, It is from the same chocolate chocolatier that is made by that company and they order it. They offer sugar-free candy so really anybody can get candy from here and enjoy it. The candy they sell in the stores like Kitcat and all these other candies. It's such a small percentage of chocolate that it's waxy and gross. You will not find that here. You will find what chocolate should truly do that. It melt in your mouth as you eat it.

There are actually quite a few locations. Produce Junction has a huge variety of well, produce, and other flowers/plants. You get a lot here while spending a little. There are two separate lines for fruits and vegetables, and when the weather is nicer there is also a register outside for flowers and gardening plants. I love that there are always seasonal items here- I have gotten pumpkins here as well as Christmas trees! The Christmas trees are actually a pretty good deal here- not only is it super convenient but you can get a decently sized tree at an affordable price. Don't forget- Produce Junction is cash only!! There is an ATM inside but make sure you have cash when you get to the front of the line (and know what you want)!

The sample is very small, like a dot smaller than my fingernail, but just enough to get me hooked. I tried the oreo cookies and cream flavor. Wow. Sweet, super rich and thick. I think I will buy some! So I ordered the smallest wee little size cup I could. I think it was $4.50? Not exactly cheap for the size but when something is that sweet and heavenly, I guess it's worth it. Might get it again, a different flavor perhaps. The Sweet Stop is in the upper level of the Deptford Mall just at the entrance to the food court.

I've been a lifelong jersey resident and I cannot believe I didn't know about this place. But of course once I mentioned it to my parents they were like "oh yeah, we know Damask ! They're delicious!" If I remember correctly, the nice girl at the counter was telling me they've actually been there since 1950. It's completely family owned, homemade candies. And let me tell you this chocolate is absolutely delicious! And so nice of them to offer samples at the counter. I've never had a sea salt caramel that tasted so good. And the chocolate covered pretzels are to die for. My mom absolutely loves the buttercream, and my dad is a toffee fan. But you cannot go wrong with their signature "Candy" which is actually oyster crackers dipped in chocolate. You absolutely have to try this place if you pass it. They have the Daily number and Powerball and other lotto. I love the convenience of this store.
