We went to an outdoor wedding reception on a riverside. It's a good venue for casual group events.

Time on the invitations was 6pm and we were told that set up is at 5pm and we had to be cleaned up and out of the doors by 9pm. We obviously show up at 4:30 to prepare unloading and 5pm comes around and the owner "Chad" is no where to be seen. The bride, groom, myself, and multiple other attendees that arrived early to assist with set up were unable to reach the owner. At 5:45p what appeared to be a highly intoxicated "Chad" opened the doors, made a sarcastic joke, and left. I was APPALLED! We were left 15 minutes to decorate a wedding (tables, chairs, photobooth, bar, food, dance floor, music, etc.) and because of the owner we lost time of the reception because we were left with 15 minutes. I read in a review that the owner refunded $200 and played this off on his mother. Taking accountability. You quite literally ruined my best friends reception and you want to give her a half-a** apology and not even half back what she paid for the amount of stress she was put through. There was a clear contract and it was breached. Highly do NOT recommend! Also all the lighting fixtures on the columns are different hues and colors and do not make for uniform photos. The owner was late and the venue was underwhelming and the owners response to everything is almost worse!

Yes, there is a staircase and no, the kitchen is not ideal for a caterer to work in but these should not be deal breakers. My caterer is very good and handled it just fine. We did not have our daughters wedding ceremony in the Market Place, but I trust if we had Chad and his crew would have repurposed the room quickly and efficiently. He DOES have a contract. He always answered my emails within minutes, I was never once stressed dealing with him. FYI, we served a buffet for 137 guests and the size of the room was perfect!

The winding drive up to the vineyard is breathtaking, and the views only get better from there. Treat yourself to a wine tasting, then enjoy an authentic Italian meal at Trattoria di Montaluce. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. I only stopped by this time, but next visit? I'm staying for golden hour, watching the sunset over the vineyards, and ending the evening with a beautiful dinner.

Gorgeous and dreamy!…read more We came here on a Saturday evening around 7:30pm for our reservation. We didn't realize how grandiose the property was as we drove down a winding path throughout the estate to get to the restaurant. The restaurant was so beautiful. The front area has a gift shop filled with amazing smelling candles featured in their repurposed wine bottles and great sugar scrubs that'll leave your hands as smooth as a baby - they let you sample it in the bathroom. We were escorted to our table that overlooked the patio of the casual restaurant below, the vast vineyard and pond. I couldn't stop looking out there. Overall, our food was delicious but our waiter was super slow. He was nice but quite odd to us and disappeared for several long moments at a time. The dining room was mostly occupied but not entirely packed. I had the Amalfi dream, Greek salad and the shrimp scampi. All was great. The almafi dream was sweet but not too much, it was smooth. The shrimp scampi was so flavorful and cooked well. The Greek salad was such a fresh and flavorful start to our meal. We were celebrating my partner's new job, so I requested for a celebratory dessert for him. It took a while to come out and when it finally did, the ice cream was melted to the point where it looked more like milk floating atop as if it was sitting there for a while until it was served to us. They didn't even say anything or make it special. It was just silently placed on the table - QUITE UNDERWHELMING. It was still very delicious regardless but that diminished the presentation and joy of the moment. Since the food and beverage were quite pleasing along with the ambience, I'd love to come again but to have a more efficient and attentive waiter who wouldn't drag out our dinner for 2+ hours. I'd expect more attentive and focused service at such a nice establishment.

The garage is extremely clean and very nice. If we could give 10 stars, we would ..... What an amazing staff that provide you with the most kindness, southern hospitality! Incredible staff! We had to place several calls to the hotel before arriving and each time we were handled with the highest respect and understanding, when we arrived we were cheerfully greeted and given our room assignment. The room was a King and was spotless and was well equipped with a small microwave and fridge. Perfect room for our needs. It does also have a small keurig coffee maker with plenty of pods. The hotel looks basically brand new, it is very, very well managed and extremely clean. Plenty of open seating and tv screens in the lobby area. The breakfast area was spotless, the food was always well prepared and fresh and hot. It is included with your stay, which is a nice benefit. If you have questions, the staff are always most helpful and kind. Yes, we highly recommend staying here as compared to other local hotels in the area, your not going to find a better place !! We already booked again for the July 4th Holiday Thank You to the Amazing Staff here for making our stay a most wonderful time

Within minutes of checking in, the "faux" doorknob fell off. Leaving a hole in our door. My husband went to the hotel to tell them. The guy came straight over. After 1.5 hrs he suggested moving us to a room at the hotel, because he'd have to go to home depot to fix it. We agreed. I looked up the room difference. Rooms for king that night and next ran $119. We moved. And stayed. At checkout they offered me a $39 discount.??? Room difference was $39 a night? They said it was because they were booked and that's the rate? But they were not booked! And it was not my problem the door handle fell apart! They never attempted to fix anything, but the door handle that fell off... and I apparently paid for. Stir clear! Not a relaxing stay!

When I was setting up our wine weekend trip to Dahlonega, a friend said to stay close to the square. After a bit of looking around I pick this place. I decided to go with a Villa, so this review is less about the hotel. And the Villa was great! Just like the pictures, very relaxing porch, cute oft bedroom, and a kitchen that had all we needed. We were at the hotel a couple times though. We popped over for coffee one morning. And on another day we stopped in to do a wine tasting. I don't think the tasting room gets alot of traffic so I was sure to call ahead. We actually ended up getting 2 bottles from there. I did note the good service and a nice hang out porch here too. It was a nice stay and when we make it back we probably will stay here again.
