Angelina is very helpful and patient with us and answered all of our questions, we always felt we were in good hands when things were left in her care. Adrianna and Gia are also great and haven't steered us wrong since moving in. service tickets are closed within 48 hours and even follow up to make sure everything went accordingly. couldn't be happier with this property and the way they do business. Keep up the great work.

This is our second year living here. Honestly, the first year was fine and we really had no…read morecomplaints. But year two has been a completely different experience. The biggest ongoing issue has been ants coming out of multiple wall outlets and sockets in our apartment. When I first reported it to the office, they told us they were fruit flies, which made no sense. They eventually sent an exterminator out, and he confirmed they were definitely ants. He explained that the ants were actually inside the walls of the building and gave a long explanation about returning to treat the larger building issue. That was months ago, and we have never seen him again. The ants are still here, so at this point we've just bought our own supply of Raid and stopped bothering with work orders and we do not wish for them to send anyone back. We also had issues with the "smart" smoke detectors they installed. They would go off at random times, extremely loudly, during the day and in the middle of the night while we were asleep. They eventually replaced ours with the older version, which fixed our issue, but our next-door neighbor apparently still has the smart ones. Because the walls are thin, when hers randomly goes off, it's loud enough to wake us up. For a place advertised as a gated community, the gates seem to be broken more often than they actually work. On top of that, the garage entry door to our building--which is supposed to require a key card--has been broken for months. I reported it and was told they were waiting on a part from a vendor. Four months later, it still hasn't been repaired, which means anyone can access the building through that entrance without a key card. Considering how astronomical the rent is, these issues are really disappointing. We're definitely counting down the months until our current lease is up so we can move on.

If ever I needed something repaired, it was fixed pretty quickly. The staff has always been kind, and if I ever needed something, I knew I could call and get an answer. The parking is ample, no assigned parking and garages are available for rent. The property is well maintained, clean and lush. The pricing is about right for the area, in terms of a nice apartment. It's been the same management company for a long time so no rules changed while I lived there. The location is perfect, right in the middle of it all, close to everything that you need. If you're looking for a nice apartment complex in Brandon, this is definitely the place to be.

There are certain residents that get treated very well and certain one's they harass nonstop. The roach infestation is out of control. The pest control company they use, more or less, just spray water around saying the problem is handled. It's not. The only reason we have stayed here is because we have been in the process of buying a house. Now that Amaranta "Uri" Alvarado, the property manager, has found out, she has made false allegations about one of my support animals. I still can't even get an answer as to which one is accused of the behavior they are alleging. So basically one of my dogs is facing the death penalty, that I rely on everyday for support, over false allegations. Be warned, stay as far away from here as you can. The property manager hates people that don't look like her and hates your pets to the point that she has no problem lying to get them removed and possibly euthanized. Don't believe the five star reviews. That is their own employees and their family members putting those up. The property management company spends more time on getting negative reviews removed then they do meeting their actual obligations to their residents. Sameera bribed us to remove a negative review right before moving in. She drug her feet getting the approval done even though both of us were more than qualified to be here. Our credit scores were way over what they required. You could cut my income in half and I would've still been qualified. This place is not good.

The apt was clean and exactly as described. It is small but perfect for one or two people. It is located in a safe area and we walked everywhere to explore-! Neighbors were quiet and the apt was furnished with everything we needed. Oh - and the bed was extremely comfortable- which is always important! Dan was very responsive to any questions we had and we are glad we found the Island Suites to check out the Tampa area!

I can honestly say that Dan went way above from a customer service perspective the entire time I was there. Any time I asked him if anything he would address it right away. His company stands above every corporate housing company I have ever used for one reason...him. The guy goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable the entire time. Thank you again Island Suites and Dan!

I loved the look at first but, the office has poor communication and customer service which made the place less pleasant. They do not care about the residents just the money. Maintenance picks and choses when they want to come into your apartment when you're not home. The management team is highly unprofessional with poor attitudes and blame the residents for issues rather than holding any accountability. Not to mention the staff especially the property manager Ashlee sleeps with people on the property! Traffic leaving the community is insane and not worth it. The location has gotten heavily populated so if you have to commute be weary.

Extra lightbulbs for my headlights were broken and scattered on my drivers seat. Nothing was stolen someone thought it'd be fun to break in and damage my car. Steal it I don't know. This isn't the first time either,a couple months ago my car door was flung open nothing stolen, everything where it's left. My partner thought he possibly just didn't close the door the night before ? And I didn't really question it. And now that I look back at my car door being open, being the only vehicle towed "for no tag" (yet there were other vehicles not tagged in resident parking) my car all the way at the back of the community was picked out to be towed. And now my ignition starter being ripped out and lightbulb glass scattered on my seat. I'm a stay at home mom, I don't talk to anyone or come out! Who hates me this much to do this and before Christmas. I filed a police report. This place doesn't seem like it has cameras. Its 11am but for other yelp people, I'll take a picture about how the night lamps that they have posted DO NOT WORK back here. Two of them are out and it's been like that for months now. It's dark as hell to be walking to my apartment with my 8 month old. And you know what All im probably going to get is sympathy's from the office and a snarky comment from the manager like she left previously. Just how FREAKING UNFORTUNATE.

My husband and I were genuinely excited to call this community home after touring the property, but…read moreunfortunately our leasing experience was incredibly disappointing. We applied on the date we were instructed to in order to receive the advertised 6 weeks free special at the quoted rent. When we tried to submit our application, the online payment system would not process our payment. This happened after office hours, so we called first thing the next business day. By then, the rent had already increased. We were told someone would check with the regional manager and call us back, but we never received a callback despite multiple emails and follow-ups. When I later met with the property manager, Sarah, she informed us that the apartment we originally tried to lease had already been rented--something no one had communicated to us. She confirmed that our application information had been entered into the system on the original date and apologized, but the only available units were about $100 more per month. Because we were on a timeline with our current lease ending and loved the community, we were still willing to move forward, expecting the original promotion to be honored since our attempted application was documented. Instead, we were told we would only receive a $750 concession. After finally reaching the regional manager, despite multiple unanswered voicemails, he refused to honor the advertised special because we didn't call until the following day--even though the office was closed when the payment issue occurred and the system clearly showed we attempted to apply on time. There was no accountability for the technical issue or the lack of communication throughout the process. Communication continued to be poor. We had to follow up again just to receive our lease documents after being approved, and when they finally arrived, they included additional fees that had never been discussed. The promised $750 concession also wasn't reflected in the lease. After paying nearly $400 in application fees, we ultimately decided we could no longer move forward. The lack of communication, failure to honor the advertised promotion despite documented evidence, and overall customer service left us with little confidence in the leasing process. The property itself is beautiful, but management's handling of our experience was extremely disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, transparency, and customer service for future residents.
