Amazing! One of the best churches in this country. A solid Bible based church that host the presence of Holy Spirit. No glitz or fog machines, just good solid worship and an apostle and pastor that speak the truth. If you are in Dayton or Cincinnati it is worth the drive. read more

I've searched for years and years for a church that has some substance. I even tried different denominations. I was so looking to be nourished with the Word of God. I was going to church, but not getting much out of it. I was doing my Sunday, then nothing at all, thing. I "wandered" for 40 years. Then a couple years ago, God led me to the Oasis Church in Middletown, OH. Yes, I watch on line... But I live in the mountains of Colorado and churches are far and few between. Oasis Church IS the real deal! They serve Meat and Potatoes to those who sincerely want to hear the Truth and true meaning (definitions included) of God's Word. They don't serve "milk and cookies" so you just want to roll over in your bed and take a nap, instead of pursuing a growing and meaningful relationship with The Father. Oasis Church is for those whose heart is yearning to unite with His Heart, for His Revelation, for the True Knowledge of Who He Is, for guidance and direction of Holy Spirit and a way to worship Him humbly and completely. Oasis Church is not for the faint of heart, but for those who seek complete healing... of body, mind and Spirit. It is for those of us who will totally set ourselves aside to open our eyes and ears to His Powerful Messages to direct our paths, especially during this time! It is not about us. It's not about putting on a show. Oasis Church is ALL about GOD! I'm so thankful and blessed to have found Oasis Church... HIS Timing IS Perfect! I had made the mistake of bringing guests who had been visiting from out of town for Christmas to the Oasis Christmas service. My son is a prodigal (and a soldier in the military). I had hoped the special guest singer/speaker would have been a blessing & encouragement to him, which she was. After her performance, he wanted to greet her and thank her. As we walked toward the church platform, a large, stern, bodyguard-type usher stopped us in the isle. We stood there, looking like idiots waiting for any one of the leadership to look at us or walk over and shake my son's hand. Instead the leadership clique at the front of the building spent several minutes congratulating each other in some sort of a pretentious, self-indulgent and self-important impenetrable circle--not one of them looked up at any of us. After several minutes we watched them nod at each other and walk off together, still not even a glance our way from any of them! The few congregants in attendance there were very much the same as the leadership clique, with no one looking us in the eye and certainly no greeting, smile or handshake. For a Christmas service, the large auditorium must have had less than 100 in-person attendees. It seems clear that Oasis had completely abandoned any hope for local in-person ministry, as they appear completely focused on their online presence. I also find it strange that there are never any men singers in the worship team. It makes the worship service sound very sugary and one-dimensional with no depth. I had been skipping that part of the service for years for that very reason. In the past, I'd regularly tuned in for their online services. But now I have a whole new perspective. They appear to be completely fixated and obsessed with their own church leadership titles and positions rather than having a love for people or serving of the community. Anymore, all I can hear is a clanging cymbal any time I hear any of them open their mouth. Don't waste your time with Oasis. It'll break your heart. read more

Oasis church should learn that 1st impressions count and take a look at their parking lot. For a church that is hyper focused on posting YouTube videos to project a particular image and message to the world, they should be equally if not more concerned about how inviting they look to their community. The parking lot is falling apart with an abundance of weeds growing up through the concrete and the outside of the building is in need of a new paint job. However, the inside of the 2000 seat church is for the most part attractive, but of course that is what is seen on social media. Unfortunately, the day of my visit the large sanctuary was barely filled with perhaps 80 in attendance. It appears that the church is comprised mostly of senior citizens and lacks any college & career, young married, young professionals, middle or upper income families. There were also no programs or events geared toward community out reach. It seems that the church is more intent on a ministry that can be produced in a studio and less interested in breaking out of their 1980s church mold and impacting their surrounding communities; Which is a real shame since they are located in such a prime area. As for the preaching, the pastor was out out of town that day and the preaching have been handed over to one of the staff. The staff member referenced the book that she was writing several times and the sermon seem to be chapters directly from that book as she read most of her notes to the congregation. The notes were solid, the book one no doubt do well, it was just not a very engaging teach. As much as I would like to I cannot recommend this church. read more
