This time, my girlfriend and I took on the Scooby-Doo room, and it was night and day compared to our first visit. The logic in this room felt a lot more coherent and satisfying to solve. We had a blast working through the puzzles, but the real standout was the shift in atmosphere. The staff was actually engaged and helpful, which made a huge difference in the overall vibe. Even the post-game process was handled correctly. When it came time for pictures, the staff followed the proper procedures and actually paid attention to the quality of the shot. It was just a much better experience across the board in terms of attitude and customer service. I'm glad we came back to see what the team is actually capable of when they're on their A-game. -- Previous review: Yeah no. I was really looking forward to the Antidote room, but the lack of energy from the staff completely killed the immersion. From the moment we walked in, the employee introducing us to the story seemed like they were reading just to get their job over with. There was zero passion or effort to get us excited about the mission. The lack of interest continued after we actually finished. When we finally solved the room, the staff member looked like they couldn't be happier to see us leave. There was no "congratulations" or enthusiasm for the game... Just a cold, rushed vibe to get us out the door. To top it off, our team photo was a joke. The staff member clearly saw that my eyes were closed when he took the picture, but he didn't bother to mention it or offer a retake. He just sent a half-assed, unusable photo to my email. We were greeted when walking in and even got to start our room "Pirates Theme" earlier then our scheduled 7:15. They have lockers there for your belongings or you can bring them into room. Restrooms available also. There is now 3 different rooms to choose from. $25 per person. Plenty of parking as this is located in a strip mall/plaza. The employees were very friendly and helpful! We did the St Augustine lighthouse and it was so much more then we had planed. Our guide was Hale who was amazing and patient with us. There were times that we keep missing some of clues, and she would have to redirect and repeat several times because we could not hear her over our bantering and laughing. To my surprise, they paired us with an entire group--something that had never happened before. For experienced players, be aware that they may fill any available spots with random participants, which can hinder communication and lead to overcrowded rooms. Additionally, if the room is linear, most players will end up just standing around watching. To make matters worse, I'm not from town, and even though the room is booked by another group, they refuse to issue a refund. Very disappointing overall.
