They were giving out free shirts so that was a fun reason to check it out. It was much emptier than other stadiums that I have been to. Usually, we are crowded with other people who are coming in but everything runs smoothly here. I don't know if that is because the team is not doing well or it usually is like this. We were able to look around and see the local vendors. They have the usual fast-food options with some DC specials like Ben's Chili Bowl. I did not try it but I have heard good things. We were able to go up and see the game. Unfortunately, they did not win. It was disappointing that Anthony Davis and Trey Young didn't play but what can you do? It was fun to see a game here and I hope to come back next time I am in town.

Neither of them worked. Quite inexcusable given they got new and improved devices. It seems to be working well now in Silver Spring with a manager staffing guest services promptly and well there. Some parking lots are a 15 minute walk away, so plan accordingly and bring comfortable sneakers. Inside the ballpark, you'll find several places to eat, including Shake Shack and Ben's Chili Bowl. If you're going to a Sunday afternoon game at 1:35pm in the summertime, visiting team seats on the 3rd base side get partial shade around 2:30pm-3:00pm. Since I frequent places like the Kennedy Center, Warner Theater and National Theater, and I know shows are often not sold out, I figured there'd be an occasional ticket to one of those, but no such luck. It's a shame too. I saw Evita while it was at the Kennedy Center and there were dozens (hundreds?) of empty seats in the back and sides of the orchestra section. Who knows how many more were empty in the balconies.

I loved exploring the different artifacts and seeing how they represent cultures from various time periods around the world. The exhibits are incredibly unique, diverse, and thoughtfully displayed. It may not look like much from the outside, but once you step in, you'll be surprised by how spacious it is. Definitely worth a visit! The whole experience was exciting. The fans were cheering non-stop, there was so much going on! Players flew over walls, balls were caught by excited fans, t-shirts were thrown to the crowd, and there was excellent entertainment between plays!! The Valor team absolutely abolished the Baltimore Bregade! It was obvious that there was a lot of talent on the field. I saw good sportsmanship as well. Players on both teams would help each other up after a fall. The players, and coach, also interacted a bit with the crowd. They were waving to people calling out to them, and they even got the crowd cheering. I'd say this is a great family activity. There were a lot of kids that were engaged and enjoying the game. If you have t seen arena football I encourage you to get to a Valor game adap! I'm so glad we have season tickets and can't wait to see the Valor dominate the field again!

The events included Coach Cokinos and went a long way towards welcoming the new fans. Coach answered numerous questions about payroll, strategy, rosters, and rules. We finally got to see Coach's plan in full effect on Friday night. Our seats are five rows from the field and right next to the Valor sideline. We are close enough to hear every word and all of the in-game coaching decisions. QB Meyer executed the offensive game plan beautifully and WR Washington was all over the field. It's going to be exciting watching these guys all season. The prices for beer and food is what you would expect at the Verizon Center (overpriced) but the tickets to the game are reasonably priced. This is definitely a family event with lots of excitement to be had by all. I even caught a ball and got to keep it! The product on the field is elite level and the excitement in the stands is through the roof. Absolutely make the time to check out the next Valor game!
